    hi guys.. i have a question dun sa bagong rule ng acs assessment

    "Only employment completed after the date you have met the ACS requirements will be counted as skilled employment. Please see the Summary of Criteria for additional information."

    ask ko lang sana kung qualified ako mag pa-assess ska pag okay ung results mag apply ng independent visa. total work experience ko is almost 4yrs (3yrs 10mos to be exact). base sa bagong rule ng acs qualified pa rin ba ko mag apply for visa? thanks!

    @rcroque Yes but with the new rule na may deduction, you may not be able to claim points for experience.

    @solidjeff thank you! :) Just to confirm, they have this rule of deducting 2 years out of 10 years, so from September 2005 - September 2013, does it follow that all work experience are still skilled and relevant after May 2005 or will it be after September 2005?

    Guys sa mga naiinip maghintay...ang current process ngayon e 12 weeks from the day na naging Stage 4 with assessor ung applications nyo.

    Please go through the ACS guidelines about the deduction ng experience nyo when claiming points. This is very important para hindi kayo mag-over claim ng points when you lodge your EOI. Over claiming points can result to visa rejection.

    All ACS Skill Assessment Result Letters report on a date (mm/yy) of when an applicant becomes ‘skilled’.

    This date will be when the applicant meets the ACS Requirements, these requirements are detailed in the Summary of Criteria

    Please note, only employment completed after the date the applicant has met the ACS requirements will be counted as skilled employment.

    Guys sa mga naiinip maghintay...ang current process ngayon e 12 weeks from the day na naging Stage 4 with assessor ung applications nyo.
    yun sken 1 week na nasa stage 2, ibig sabihin pag nag stage 4 pa lang ang start ng count ng 12 weeks waiting time?

    BS ECE. Section 2 School. 8.5 Years overall IT experience.

    10/08/2015 : Started job hunting.
    06/08/2015 : Moved to Sydney.
    14/04/2015 : Visa Approved.
    20/12/2014 : Lodged Visa.
    26/10/2014 : Invited Visa 189.
    07/10/2014 : Submitted EOI - 60 points.
    20/09/2014 : IELTS IDP Makati (L,R,W,S - 8.5, 8, 7, 7)
    04/11/2013 : ACS Suitable (3 years skilled) + AQF Bachelor Major in Computing.
    26/07/2013 : ACS Skills Assessment (ANZSCO 261311)

    thanks. but most of the people i know, no deductions were made. so i'm a bit confused here. anyway, let's just wait for the result.

    Jul 19, 2013 - IELTS Results (L:8, R:8.5, W:7, S:8)
    Oct 02, 2013 - ACS result received (suitable)
    Oct 02, 2013 - submitted EOI for Visa 189 (65 pts).
    Oct 05, 2013 - submitted Victoria SS for Visa 190 (70 pts, for backup)
    Oct 18, 2013 - Victoria SS approved/Received invitation to apply for Visa 190 from Skillselect.
    Oct 20, 2013 - lodged VISA 190 application.
    Nov 20, 2013 - CO allocated | GSM Adelaide Team 6
    Nov 27, 2013 - VISA GRANT! Thank you Lord! IED: NOV 12, 2014
    Jul 03, 2014 - arrival in Melbourne
    Aug 07, 2014 - started work :)
    Jul 24, 2015 - left 1st job
    Jul 27, 2015 - joined 2nd job :)
