If I am the immigration officer, I would certainly stop you and question you why you are bringing 12 boxes...

@TasBurrfoot oh, I do color my own hair kasi and there are certain hair color na tumatalab sa buhok ko.. Kaya I was thinking of bringing for 3-4 times na magcocolor ako ng hair..

Naisip ko din yan ... unless i check-in mo yung walang problem

ang alam ko inde yan prohibited and if ever you can justify it to immigration officer ..

sabihin mo lang personal consumption ..

@icebreaker1928 and @JCsantos thanks.. Every 3-4 months kasi nagcocolor ako ng hair.. Pag medyo lumalabas na yung black, nagkukulay na ako..

Hindi naman ata masama.. Nakakadry lang ng buhok pag minsan..

cguro magdala ka lang 2 pero kung 12 eh para ka na rin pagkamalan binebenta staka kemikal yun. Ang dami dito hair colour na mabibili. Ako bumibili na rin may uban na kasi ako eh

Kinda. I used to dye my hair regularly. Pero may nabasa ako na may kemikal sa dye na carcinogenic. Syempre, hindi yan proven ha. Haka-haka lang ng mga scientists. Tinatakot lang nila tayo... hehe, natakot naman ako!

Anyway, kaya uso na din ang "organic dyes". Tulad ng organic food, organic makeup, etc. Lahat na organic !

@peach17: hindi ko pa din nasubukan. Pero ang sabi, di daw masyado tinatablan ang hair, haha. Iba pa din daw yung effect ng may kemikal talaga. Oh well.

Will there be any issue po to bring in pearl bracelets and necklaces? Personal items po. At may isang baranggay po na Thomas and friends train set na wood ang mga anak ko...issue po kaya dalhin yun?

@GoToWaOZ..ang wood I think magiging issue yan.. Strict ksi cla sa mga ganyang bagay ksi possible na my parasites na dala ang wood lalo na pag hndi sya treated.. Other way, pag gus2 m tlagang dalhin u have to declare it but I'm sure titingnan pa rin nla yan.. Pag my makitang silang something wrong sa mga wooden toys na dala m, e cocompiscate nla yan.

@nfronda - naku, yun nga po ang fear ko... ano po ba ibig sabihin ng "treated"wood?

Kung dadalhin talaga namin, we will declare it pero kung i-confiscate, masaklap...kasi iiyak mga anak ko at masama sa loob ko kasi 3 years ko din inipon for them...around 80+ pcs po kasi, along with wooden train tracks froom IKEA.

@GoToWaOZ..treated woods po means free from any fungal bacteria, moist, parasites or any worms na pwdeng tumira sa mga woods..

As it is a toy namn I think free from any fungal bacterial namn yan but were not really sure of..

some are checked randomly... kami ni misis, binura namin ang movie collections namin; could not risk it. you can always rebuild your collection when you are here.

for me (a non-IT guy), it is not worth the risk na magdala ng mga movie files...

( From Au ) Went overseas number of times but never did they check our hard drive , but don't take my word for it , its possible they will check it

nung umuwi siya galing Pilipinas pabalik ng Oz, naguwi siya ng "dry brush" pang body, binili niya sa Watsons gawa sa wood.. tinanong ko sa kanya (ako si Anonymous hehe) kung hindi ba strict sa border security yung wood items.. ang sabi niya, the trick is to declare it..

so nasa inyo po if gusto niyo po i try kung pwede niyong dalhin.. if ever kung ganuong marami po yung wooden toys, sana the worst nalang na mangyari ay i quarantine muna tsaka nalang kunin after a few months.. or bili nalang po kayo ng bago sa IKEA sa australia.

I am currently watching the first season and yes I agree, they are strict yet very polite. I also have a huge collection (as per my standard

) of downloaded movies (torrent) and it is very unfortunate if I would not be able to bring it with me.

Do they inspect laptop as well even if they don't find any alarming stuff once it passed the scanner? So far what I only notice in that show is when they find something interesting through the scanner, that is when these items attract attention.

Unless their scanner can read through the contents of the hard drive. :P

Susubukan nga po nmin magdala ng few pieces pag initial entry namin para di mai-risk lahat in case di payagan. I did research sa http://www.customs.gov.au/webdata/resources/files/GuideforTravellers-WEB2.pdf, it seems like pwede nman basta walang insect infestation/risk. painted nman po yung character trains and solid wood. Sama mag pwede.. we will just declare it para walang maging issue (hopefully) :-SS

Question po, regarding bringing in general goods not exceeding AUD 900, meaning po ba nito included kahit personal items na nabili ko through time sa pag-iipon? Let's say may 2 designer bags po, 2 perfumes, jewelry (several pairs of earrings,bracelet, necklace), laptop, ipad, mobile, ipod? Mas affordable po kasi dito sa middle east dahil walang tax kaya pwede mapag-ipunan ang bagay2 at mabili...
