Yes I stand corrected. 190 pala. Do they check on you if you are living in the state for the duration of two years? What if you have a hard time finding work? Kase yung mga ibang cities, they have very little population I don't know if there is enough opportunities for migrants.

FYI lang, I just tried the VISA Pricing Estimator at DIAC website. Based on the result, the increase in visa application fee will take effect this September because I tried to put September as application date.

    Sample ng case ko eto:

    Main Applicant: $3520
    Addtl 18+: $1760
    Addtl below 18: $880

This applies for subclass 189 visa.

Nominated Occupation: ANZSCO 261112 - Systems Analyst
    Timeline:
    Jul 01, 2013 - ACS Skill Assessment
    Jul 19, 2013 - IELTS Results (L:8, R:8.5, W:7, S:8)
Oct 02, 2013 - ACS result received (suitable)
    Oct 02, 2013 - submitted EOI for Visa 189 (65 pts).
Oct 05, 2013 - submitted Victoria SS for Visa 190 (70 pts, for backup)
Oct 18, 2013 - Victoria SS approved/Received invitation to apply for Visa 190 from Skillselect.
    Oct 20, 2013 - lodged VISA 190 application.
    Nov 20, 2013 - CO allocated | GSM Adelaide Team 6
Nov 27, 2013 - VISA GRANT! Thank you Lord! IED: NOV 12, 2014

..subclass 189 & 190 visa - quoted from visa-pricing-table says that "For applicants who have turned 18 at the time of application and who are assessed as not having functional English the second instalment is $4 885. For any other applicant, the second instalment is nil." does it means that if your dependants who's 18+ and were assessed having a functional English were free of charge? or you still have to pay a second installment of $1760 instead of $4 885?. I was confused..

second installment fee are applicable for those who cannot pass the functional english requirement; this is where IELTS or a statement from the school that English was the medium of instruction comes in...

normally Pinoys (as we speak impeccable English), do not pay the second installment fee...

to answer your question, $1760 lang bayaran mo if you can provide a suitable IELTS score.

In my ACS assessment, I was asked to provide a certified copy of detailed employer references. Ask ko lang kung anyone has been asked to submit this during their assessment. Appreciate if you can let me know what are the details that needs to be provided. Maraming salamat!

Hello!

    Salamat.

I read somewhere in DIAC that TORs do not need to be translated.
    http://www.immi.gov.au/living-in-australia/help-with-english/help_with_translating/translation_help.htm

    Education
Primary school certificates (only when required for entry to primary or secondary school)
    Secondary/vocational secondary certificate
    Tertiary certificate
Transcript of academic record (university syllabus or similar documents will not be translated)

Can someone confirm if my understanding is correct? :D

Whoa, goodluck... 75 is a very high score to get!!

And yeah, even if you claim max points for age, experience and school, kailangan mo pa rin ng max score for IELTS...

    Hi,
I am considering to make a cdr and submit to Engineers Australia. However, i have few questions, please kindly advise.

    - kaya lang QA/QC Mgr occupation ay nsa CSOL to be assesed by VETASSES and need more strict requirements and having at least 5yrs exp on this occup.

    2) Pki-confirm kung tama po ba ang pagkaintidi ko sa nabasa ko sa MSA Booklet 2012 (wala p b 2013?) na baka di nla i asses ang qualification ko as QA/QC Mgr or other occupancy and mabawasan pa ang 8/10 yrs of experience?

" Your CDR will be assessed against the competency standards of the occupancy category specified by you. EngrsAust will not assess your competencies against an occupation category higher than the one you have specified, but may consider assessment against a lower occupational category if you assessed as not suitable for your nominated category"

    History of Ocuupation from now:
    2006-2013
    QAQC Mgr : about +3yrs
    Senior Engr/Site Mgr : about 1.5yrs
    Resident Engineer/Site Manager :1.5yrs
    1997-2006
    Project Engr :5yrs
    Civil Engineer : 2 yrs
    Office/Field Engr :1 yr
    Project Engineer: abou 9mo.
    Structural/Civil Engineer :about 7mo.

    3) Im here currently in Vietnam, pki confirm naman po kung hanggang kelan ang validity
    - Authenticate Certificate of Diploma + Philippine Regulation Commission issued by DFA on 2009 and certified by Philippine Consulate on 2010
    - How many mos. po ba ang valididty ng notary say sa Cert of Emp and Criminal record say sa Pinas now?
    - mas ok po bang dalhin ko lahat ng dokumento ko from Pinas and ipa notaryo ko lahat ng doc ko dito sa Vietnam since dito me balak mg lodge ng application for assessment and visa if possible?

    4) Is there any possibility n yung may Visa Subclass 489 can move to another place in Australia later on. Im 39 now.

    5) If my application may not be suitable to Australia, do you know the other alternative country which might suitable on my situation?

Thank you so much in advance.

    OTHER ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS
    (ANZSCO: 2339)
"This unit group covers Engineering Professionals not elsewhere classified such as
Aeronautical Engineers, Agricultural Engineers, Biomedical Engineers, Engineering
Technologists, Environmental Engineers & Naval Architects."

..I was curious about "Other Engineering Professionals" so I've made a research and that's what I've found..does it means that Electrical and Civil Engineering Professions are not included with the so called pro-rata basis??..just for clarifications.. :D

hello po....i have been learning a lot from this site and have been wanting to fulfill my dream of going to oz soon as possible...sa dami na ng nabasa ko dito parang wala pa kasi na same ng situation ko and my friends or maybe i haven't read enough? :) anyway, i'll just ask here ...
me and my two other friends (all of us are single by the way)..we plan to go sa oz...pare pareho kami ng skill which is software testing nasa SOL siya...ang problem is ang number of working experiences namin... ako 3.10 yrs yung isa 3 yrs and yung isa 6 yrs all related naman sa nominated skill namin as in match sila. nabasa ko naman na kasi yung description nung job code namin. i think easiest way for us is this skilled migration visa....i just want to know, possible kaya kami mahire ng companies sa oz given our number of experiences?

worried din kasi kami na if we wait a bit more baka lalo na maghigpit...ngayon ng lang sa ACS dun sa number of work experience, naghigpit na.If ever din ba na we will apply for a working visa pwede na kami? we did our own computing of points din kasi and obviously, 2 of us are gonna get zero for the work experience gawa nung 2 year deduction rule...

TIA! i'd appreciate honest answers and advices :)

Paying for an application lodged outside Australia

All visa application charges are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). If you are paying a visa application charge outside Australia, payment will need to be made in the currency and payment method accepted by the Australian Missions where the visa application is being lodged. These Australian Missions cannot accept Australian currency.
See: Method of Payment Accepted at Australian Missions

The exchange rates used to calculate the visa application charge payable in a foreign country are updated periodically. While the Australian dollars (AUD) amount of a visa application charge may not change at this time, the amount payable in a foreign currency will change in line with the exchange rate and this may increase or decrease the cost of a visa application made overseas.

When you have found the charge or fee in Australian dollars (AUD), use the Currency Converter to find the equivalent amount in your local currency and the acceptable method of payment.

The foreign currency rates are fixed for six months and apply to all visa applications received by the department on and after the day the exchange rate is changed.
You may lodge you application outside Australia by contacting any of the department’s offices or you may be able to lodge via the department’s website.

Using a credit card outside Australia

If a credit card is used to pay a visa application charge outside of Australia, the amount payable will be the foreign currency equivalent of the Australian dollars (AUD) amount of the visa application charge advertised by the department.

The foreign currency amount will then be converted to Australian dollars (AUD) by the cardholder's bank. The amount paid for the visa application will depend on the exchange rate used by the cardholder's bank on the date the transaction takes place, and any fees charged by their bank. The amount paid may not be equal to the amount advertised by the department.
Note: Credit Card payments are in Australian dollars

MAy I ask for clarifications regarding this matter. Yung nasa visa pricing estimator kasi AUD6,160 which becomes PhP275700. Lumalabas ang forex rate na gamit nila is P44.75=AUD1 while most of the banks here in the Philippines sell AUD ranging from Php41-42. Though I plan to use credit card, I'm confused since my application is lodged outside Australia which falls in the first set of statement issued by DIAC.

    Moving on...
God has bigger plans for me than what I have for myself...
    To God be the glory!

Ganito yun, if you use a credit card... Yung banko mo ay magbabayad sa DIAC ng visa fee mo in AUD - for example lang $1000...

Si banko mo will charge you in peso based on their fx rate for the date nila; di ganon kalaki ang difference from the actual spot rate.

Kasi pwede magprint through online SSS account.

Hello mga kaibigang Aussies and Aussies–to–be, :)

I'm reviewing my EOI Points Breakdown ('yung naka-table na automatically generated after mag-submit ng EOI). Napansin ko pala na may lumabas na entry doon sa EOI points table ko tungkol sa 'Years of experience in Nominated Occupation – in Australia within the last 10 years' under doon sa 1st column; tapos, nakalagay sa next adjoining cell na 'Less than 1 Year'; then, '0' points sa next cell.

    Type...................................................................Progress.................Action:
'Qualifications - Australian, Evidence of'..........Recommended.......Attach document
'Work Experience - Australian, Evidence of'......Recommended......Attach document

Although sabi naman doon sa heading na "Not all evidence listed below may be required. Check the attachment checklist for guidance."

I'm just a bit worried na baka i-consider ito nung CO na discrepancy at maging grounds for visa refusal, if ever? :-S

Maraming salamat po in advance sa pag-reply!!!

...Pahabol po na tanong: Once na-attach yung required document doon sa visa lodgement, is there a way to view yung mga inattach na documents?
