    I think it is ok. But make sure that the time that has been spent on waiting is at least or more than the turnaround time given by EA otherwise waiting for it might be a better idea. Did you try to check the current turnaround times through msastatus? Sabi nga nila e patience is a virtue. Hihi!

    Anyways, I am a civil engineer here in Manila. I have been working since 2006. I am currently preparing my CDR and hoping I can get samples so I can compare.

    @joestrummer: sorry po ano yung msastatus? ano ba laman ng acknowledgement receipt? is it important? Kasi alam ko namn na nadebit na siya sa account. so meaning nagstart na assessment ko. di ko lang alam ano next gawin or what to expect while waiting for the next few months.

    currently 16 weeks ang turnaround time. sa akin hopefully by mid of november dumating na...

    what to expect? asahan mong tatawagan nila ang current employer mo kung kasama ang experience mo sa current company mo sa CDR and sa skilled employment assessment. :D expect mong mas mamahalin ka na ng boss mo pag nalaman nilang may plano kang mag migrate sa Au :D

    Thanks idol @jepoy527 for answering for @piglet24 's benefit. With that answered, expect your results to be released in approximately 16weeks from the time your documents were received by EA (this may change though from time to time) and yes the time you should start counting is the date of your acknowledgment receipt or simply the date where the charges are deducted from your credit card.

    Also take note that the date you'll receive the results may probably be a couple more days because they have to send it through post.

    Mine was dated May 8, 2013 and I got the letter May 18, 2013. This may also vary as per address.

    Well for now, all you can do is wait and pray that there'll be no delays in your assessment.

    Hi all!
    Im a newbie here and I was encouraged to post inquiry coz ang dami kong nbabasang helpful tips from you guys.
    I want to get advice sna about my EA Application. Ang narequest ko kc is Standard Assessment lng. Nareceive ko ung EA letter stating that my qualification is comparable to AU. Then I've learned na need ko pla ang Additional Services kung gusto ko mag-claim ng points sa DIAC regarding working experience. I know pde ako magrequest for additional assessment but my questions:

    1) How long ang turnaround time pag magpa-additional assessment ako? ANyone experienced it before?
    2) Ang kailangan ko lng ba pra mkapag-claim ng points for EOI eh ung letter ng EA regarding qualification and work experiences?
    3) I believe may letter akong matatanggap from EA stating na inacknowledge nila ako as professional engr right? Need ba ito pra sa visa application?

    Hope anyone can advice me. Thanks in advance!

    Hello! I'm new here and recently lang namin na decide na mag try sa Australia, mga around July lang. We are applying for a Skilled Migrant Visa for our family (hubby, myself and 1 kid) and we are doing this via an agent (Same agent my friend who is a CPA used when she was getting her Skilled Migrant Visa. Nakaalis na sya for Australia a year ago). Mechanical Engineer si hubby. Any Mech Eng here who has received a positive assessment from EA or who are currently writing their CDR/in the process of waiting for assessment?

    How was your experience with this? Mabilis ba yung assessment? How are you planning to go about finding a job in Au? Yung agent kse is a migration agent, so they do not assist with job placements.

    Any help/opinions are welcome.

    what about your salary? meron ka bang generic COE from HR? kung meron then it would be fine..

    what i mean, yung generic COE mo dapat naka-indicate dun kung magkano ang salary mo..
    you need to prove that it's a paid employment..
