Hi @Mishtry , 3years ang na deduct sa working experience. Based sa results ng mga friends namin, Diploma lang talaga ang binibigay sa AMA graduates na BS Com Sci. Im not sure lang kung yung engrg grads eh nakakakuha ng higher assessment.

hi guys! newbie here. hehe!
I attended an AU migration seminar here in SG earlier this month. The agent informed us of the new rule from ACS, which only considers IT professionals to gain skills from the 4th year of his working experience. Sayang ang 5 points! I'm still in the process of securing my employment references. Mejo mahirap lang kasi ung unang company na pinagtrabahuhan ko eh closed na.
Praying that the assessment will be favorable for all of us.

@rooroo @melram83 hi po! confused pa dn until now sa apparent acs ruling, wala nmn sinabi ung agent namin na deduction sa work exp. SA dn occupation code ni hubby, 3.25 yrs pa lng dn exp nya as IT Functional Consultant.kaka-pasa pa lng nmin for acs assessment kaya anxious kami sa result.acceptable na iba iba ang interpretation natin about dun.pro kng pti agents iba iba ang understanding dun e nakaka-worry lalo

Hello,

May tanong lang po ako dun sa COE. May 5 years of experience na po ako as software engineer and had 3 companies na din. Kaya lang po sa nabasa ko sa document requirements sa ACS na kailangan may detailed job description at kung full time/part time yung naging work. Kaso lang po yung mga COE ko e yung mga common COE lang na ini-issue ng mga companies na stated and start/end dates tas yung title. Mahigpit po ba sila sa assesment sa COE?

hello po....i have been learning a lot from this site and have been wanting to fulfill my dream of going to oz soon as possible...sa dami na ng nabasa ko dito parang wala pa kasi na same ng situation ko and my friends or maybe i haven't read enough? anyway, i'll just ask here ...
me and my two other friends (all of us are single by the way)..we plan to go sa oz...pare pareho kami ng skill which is software testing nasa SOL siya...ang problem is ang number of working experiences namin... ako 3.10 yrs yung isa 3 yrs and yung isa 6 yrs all related naman sa nominated skill namin as in match sila. nabasa ko naman na kasi yung description nung job code namin. i think easiest way for us is the skilled migration visa....i just want to know, possible kaya kami mahire ng companies sa oz given our number of experiences?

worried din kasi kami na if we wait a bit more baka lalo na maghigpit...ngayon ng lang sa ACS dun sa number of work experience, naghigpit na.If ever din ba na we will apply for a working visa pwede na kami? we did our own computing of points din kasi and obviously, 2 of us are gonna get zero for the work experience gawa nung 2 year deduction rule...

just sharing for ECE folks planning to get themselves assessed as 261311 (Analyst Programmer). My results for my application last June 13 is Suitable, AQF Bachelors Degree major in Computing and they took 4 years from my experience (that would be 4 out my 6 years total in IT = 0 points sa skill select hehe) Still positive naman kasi Suitable and Bachelors.. kaya thanks Bossing!

naku salamat dito...kakalungkot naman 4 years, bakit hindi 2 years since AQF Bachelors naman and Major in Computing? same tayo eh ECE ako pero mag 7 years na exp ko next month. meron ka din ba certifications e.g. MS? makakatulong kaya na mas mababa ang deductions kung meron trainings/MS certifications kasama sa application ko? sayang din kase ang points

Yes strict sila sa requirements. Pero may work around naman (if you backread makikita mo).
Para di kana mag backread ito ginawa ko.... gawa ka ng COE na complete details ng job scope mo at duties then pa-pirmahan mo with your manager or someone with higher position than you (use paper with company letter head and your manager's contact details).

If ayaw pirnamahan ng bosing mo yung may letter head, just ask for your manager's business card or company id showing he is a current employee of your company. Importante na employee sya nung company mo na kukunan mo ng COE.

@MotherBodski thanks po sa reply. Tanggap ko na diploma yun qualification ko since as per CEP, section 3 yun school ko, San Beda Alabang, BSIT. Ang di ko matanggap 6yrs nideduct nila. Nakareceive na ko invite from skill select pero niclaim ko lahat ng experience ko.

Hindi po sya sign of rejection, relax lang po kayo. Antay antay lang, nag check na po kayo ng email nyo or junk folder baka po meron email sa inyo na hindi nyo nakita?

Di naman sya issue, pero siguro yung clearance ng payment. Pero im sure marami rami na sa atin dito ang nagbayad thru Credit Card.

@stage2, submitted my application July 1st and it was almost 12 midnight when I submitted it, the following day, stage 2 na. a couple of days, stage 4 na. paid thru cc, although singapore bank issued credit card gamit ko. parang may mga nabasa ako nagkaprob sa pagbayad gamit BPI cc. baka nga sa pag clear ng payment.

hoping to receive the result within this week or early next week.

thanks legato09 and rooroo, nakakakaba kasi... may mga times na nakaka-discourage na dn. especially un may mga nababasa ako na naglabasan na results... may unsuitable, anlaki ng binawas sa years of experience, etc .

Curious lang po ako about assessment. Tanung ko lng po kung meron po ba ditong graduate ng PUP computer engineering?
Based po sa experience nyo, nakakuha po ba kau ng bachelors degree o diploma lang? Nasa section 2 po kasi yung PUP sa list ng schools.

Kailangan ko kasi maka bachelors degree kasi yung experience ko ay 4 years palang.

• Certified copy of detailed employer references from Employer- assessor has requested an updated reference letter within regards to dates
Each employment reference must contain:
1. Start & Finish Dates of Employment
2. Description of Duties Performed
3. Hours worked - Full time or Part time
4. Country where Employment was Completed
5. Company Letterhead and signed by the author
Please Note: the ACS is unable to accept letters of appointment, self-statutory declarations or contracts as employment references.
We will place your skills assessment on hold for an extra 30 days. If no contact is received by this period, your application will be assessed according to the existing documents.

i'm assuming yung start and finish dates ko yung in question kasi, ang nilagay ko sa affidavit from my supervisor is "THAT, Miss XXXXXXXXXX has been permanently working as a full-time Senior Software Engineer from July 28, 2008 to present date" I'm still part of the company so yan yun nilagay ko. do you guys have any idea what I should put there?

kasi sa tingin ko, need nila ng Certificate of Employment from your employer indicating your
1. Start & Finish Dates of Employment
2. Description of Duties Performed
3. Hours worked - Full time or Part time
4. Country where Employment was Completed
5. Company Letterhead and signed by the author

If ang Certificate of Employment ay walang detailed Duties and Responsibilities, kailangan mong magpresent ng Statutory Declaration na galing sa sa Lead/Supervisor/Manager mo.
nakaindicate din dun ang Date of Employment, Fulltime or parttime, anong company, position, at ang importante sa lahat yung detailed duties and responsibilities mo.

@stage2 - don't worry hindi sya sign of rejection...be positive though nakakainip..just expect na after 12weeks lalabas na ang result nyan... it takes time talaga bago magkaroon ng assesor kasi maraming nagpapaassess. sa ngayon medyo nasusulit ang 12 weeks processing time..

Here is my timeline with ACS for your reference... sana makatulong as guide but it may differ

14-Jun-13 : ACS Skills Assessment - Submitted
14-Jun-13 : ACS Skills Assessment - Allocated
21-Jun-13 : ACS Skills Assessment - With Assessor
16-Sep-13 : ACS Result - Suitable

@squinx22 - yung officemate ko BS ComSci sa PUP then Bachelors Degree ang nakuha nya... i guessed, ganun din for BS CompEng kasi yung sa akin Bachelors Degree major in ICT din binigay at BS CompEng ako pero galing ako sa CCP (kapit-bahay lang tayo) at asa section 2 din ang school ko.

You can try po wala naman problema, meron ako friend from the same Section (Gov't Subsidize Univ or State U din ;-) ) and ComEng din naka kuha sya ng Degree. If you have certifications and all, isama mo sya para maka tulong.

Hello po. I am assuming hindi nag bibigay ng detailed skills or complete job description yung company mo.
Sakin po kasi hindi ako nag avidafit. Sorry hindi ko rin alam format ng avidafit kaya I cannot comment. Pero what i did sa dalawang company ko na di nag bibigay ng detailed job description is ....

For Company 1 --- previous employer ko
ako ang gumawa ng COE ko.... and then I asked my team lead to read and confirm the details and let him sign. And I asked for his company ID, photo copied it and asked him to signas well (you can ask for business card / pero wala po sya nun). Since Plain paper lang po kasi ang ginamit ko kaya ako humingi nito as evidence na he is currently employed to that company. I asked him to use blue ink to sign para obvious and difference ng photo copy and original copy kapag ipa CTC ko.

For Company 2 --- current company
Same in company 1. I made my COE but used a company letterhead kaya pirma lang. Ok kami ng manager ko... pirma lang sya.
