Ang intindi ko dyan, yan yung basis para makapasa ka sa assessement and not on the work experience. Your COE will still be the determining factor para dun sa work experience.

Question lang po, for an AQF Diploma, kelangan ba 6 yrs work experience para maging positive ang assessment nila? diba pwedeng 5 yrs?

actually naguguluhan din ako jan. pero tama ka you need 6 years for non-IT majors para makapasa sa assessment. So for RPL, ilang years un deduction before maconsider na skilled ka?

check other forums nalang baka may same case nun sayo.
Pero eto lang un sure ko, basta may 6 years of relevant experience ka, may chance na pumasa
sa skills assessment, pero sa pag claim ng points di ko alam panu kasi di ko din sure kung sa deduction of relevant work experience before maconsider na "skilled".
For IT majors kasi 2 years un nawawala sa work experience. Pero di ko pa alam un sakin, malapit ko na makuha result ko.

@carrie pag non-IT major ka, through RPL ka lang which requires 6 years of relevant experience to your SOL.

@rooroo pag rpl kasi minimum 6 years of relevant experience. not sure if this is equivalent to 6 years deduction. sana merong case na RPL na makasagot sa atin na na-invite na para malaman kung may deduction nga. kasi DIAC ang may final say ng points according to ACS.

Sana sa mga susunod na invitations babaan nila upto 65. )
Pero mukhang matagal ung hihintayin ngayon natin sa EOI.

i am actually tracking the number of invitations for BA/SA. 10 invitations un nabawas sa remaining ceilings from last month. may 451 remaining, half nan for state nomination/regional. parang around 20 per month un invitations sa occupations natin for visa 189.

@carrie ang intindi ko 2 years relevant work experience sa SOL para suitable ko. yung iba kasi nagsasabi, ibabawas daw to sa work experience so kung IT ka 2 years ibabawa sa work experience. ako mismo naguluhan na. subject to interpretation unless DIAC mismo ang maglabas ng sagot.

@habibi @rooroo nalilito kasi ako. I received ung assessment and unsuitable sya.

Sa school they assessed as equivalent to AQF Diploma with ICT Major - I agree with this kasi hindi naman ako Sec 1 sa school ko.

The reason they stated sa paper is because I dont have 6 yrs work experience daw. When they assessed me kasi I have 65 months work exp.

So I checked the ACS criteria (Summary of Criteria Required for a Suitable ICT Skills Assessment Result), sabi dun "an AQF Diploma with ICT Major and is closely related to the nominated occupation is required to have 5 years relevant work experience to the nominated occupation"

So nalilito ako baket unsuitable ang assessment ko. I'm planning to lodge an appeal. Basing sa criteria nila, pasok ako sa 5yrs work exp. I dont know baket 6 yrs yung hinahanap nila sa akin.

@carrie kung IT major ka at 5years ang experience ang relevant experience mo sa nominated SOL mo, i think you have a case to file the appeal.

@habibi thank you. I'm going to lodge an appeal today. Hopefully, they will reverse their decision. According to the website, it will take 4-6 weeks to receive the result. Timing's good enough for me kasi by that time, my IELTS results will come out na din.

@habibi give me an update pag na-invite ka na. kasi same tayo ng points at nominated occupation. Bka this monday babaan nila un points sa mga maiinvite for SA.

@rooroo sure. pero sa tingin ko matgal tagal pa. baka magkasabay pa tayo pag nagkataon dahil mukhang matatagalan tong 75 points required dahil sa damin ng nag-aapply.

hello guys, tanong ko lang sana kung saan ko makikita ang updated school section list. Sinubukan kong tingnan ang nasa "More > School section list" pero hindi cya accurate. Dalawang beses naka lagay ang school ko na differenct ang sectioning. Sinubukan ko na rin iping si aolee pero walang reply. thanks

just sharing for ECE folks planning to get themselves assessed as 261311 (Analyst Programmer). My results for my application last June 13 is Suitable, AQF Bachelors Degree major in Computing and they took 4 years from my experience (that would be 4 out my 6 years total in IT = 0 points sa skill select hehe) Still positive naman kasi Suitable and Bachelors.. kaya thanks Bossing!

Got a positive news from other forum just now. May na-assess ang ACS na walang deduction on his/her work experience as a systems analyst. All relevant work experiences are considered to be skilled right after his/her degree. So tama nga un sabi dun sa british expat na possible na walang deeming dates un result from ACS at yung example nun MARA agent is yung ngang Systems Analyst. This gives me a high hope of getting the same result! Para makaclaim ako ng 15 pts sa experience

@raki03 Lumabas na result namin Suitable pero as expected eh talagang comparable to Diploma lang. 5 yrs lang din yung nacredit na experience, more than 8 years yung sinubmit. Expected din kasi yung first two employers eh hndi nag provide ng detailed COE.

Moving forward, kelangan ng mag review for IELTS.

hi guys, need your advise. currently collecting documents for my ACS RPL assessment. worried lang ako dun sa work experience kasi at least 6 years eh may nababasa akong deductions. Paano yun Baka less deductions sa experience ko so Hindi na magiging 6 years Baka mamaya failed ang assessment ko. sayang Naman po.
Bank ICT BA May 2004 - Aug 2008 4 years 3 months
Bank ICT BA September 2008 - May 2009 9 months
BPO - Technical associate - Jan 2010 - May 2011 1 year 4 months (parang call center technical representative work)
Bank ICT BA June 2011 - present 2 years 3 months

non-IT course (bs accountancy) section 3
MBA graduate section 2

Question:
1. pwedeng pwede ba ako mag pa asses na sa ACS RPL.
2. ilang years kaya deduct sa work experience ko?

advice lang po Kung tuloy ko pa pa assess sayang din kasi ang money.
