    @ozdreamer123 , no issue. grammar can be fixed, mahirap yung case ng iba nauubusan ng idea. at yung mga spelling errors mo mostly typo errors lang. alam mong gamitin ang mga punctuaations, capitalizations, spacing, etc. so ikaw practice lang ang kelangan then kayang-kaya ng maka band score ng 8 and above sa writing exam.

    Note: mataas silang magbigay ng score sa writing. basta maka 250 words ka lang na relevant sa tanong ang essay at properly indented or spaced ang mga paragraphs. practice practice pa isang essay for 40 minutes.

    @katiequintos ano pong style niyo sa reading? binasa mo naman muna questions noh bago yung readings? feeling ko okay ka naman baka kinapos ka lang sa oras sa last part ng reading kaya siguro naging 6.5 pero bukod sa read mo muna questions, mag allot ka ng mas mahabang time for the last part ng reading test :) Goodluck!

    I am nervous with Speaking sub-test. How do you relax during this test? What are your techniques? I also feel stiff and I am like a monotonous robot. Grammar is also my problem.

    Sa experience ko sisi ako kc nde ako nagpractice. Ang need tlg magpractice. Yan mali ko nde ko na nagawa kc cramming ako. Madadali tanong ang prob sa dali sagutin ung 2 minutes antagal pa. Ang hirap punuin ung sasabihin and pahabain ng 2 mins. Ending ko nun sa part 2 tlg ako sablay eh nauulit na lang. Kc kahit andami ko na naimbento bitin pa rin sagot ko.

    Ung part 1 un ung chance mo na kalmahin sarili mo. Pinapahinto pa nga ako kc andami ko na sinasabi. Gamitin mo un para ma at home ka sa kanya. Para sa part 2 relieved ka na. Ung part 2 tlg kaya ako bumagsak siguro mga 5 secs ako halos wala na masabi. Kc nasabi ko na lahat. Tapos sumenyas na sha sa kin. Ayun alam ko na na yari ako.

    Ang tip wag na wag mo hayaan na senyas sha sa part 2. Kc meaning nun bitin sha sa sagot mo. Eto sabi sa kin. Halimbawa sa question part 2 db. Answer tapos why tapos why tapos why tapos idea tapos example. Para humaba sagot mo.

    Halimbawa ask ka sino fave super hero mo. Answer ka si batman tapos sagutin mo agad answer mo baket si batman kc mabait sha why? kc galing sha sa hirap? Why? Kc nde nakapagtapos magulang nya. Tapos idea mo or stand mo tapos example. Ayan hahaba na sagot mo db.

    Hahaha ayun nga kinabahan din ako. Kaya dapat isipin mo nakikipagkuwentuhan ka lang. Kc mayayari tlg pag kabahan.

    @katiequintos watch ka sa youtube ng mga videos kung pano sila sumagot sa speaking test. Ang ginawa ko hanggang nasa cab ako papunta exam venue nood nood lang ng youtube videos. Nung nagexam ako mas kinakabahan ako sa idea na magbayad ng halos 10k nanaman kesa sa examiner. Ayon medyo tumalab naman kahit super sakto lang na scores.

    Isipin mo lang tropa mo or colleague mo na nasa meeting kayo and breathe in breathe out nakatulong yung medyo me kumpas ka para mai-express mo ng maigi yung statement or opinion mo, medyo konting smile at eye to eye contact pero wag masyado. Sa akin nun lalake yung kausap ko medyo hassle makipag titigan palagi haha

    @sonsi_03, the thing is, I have fixated eye contact to the interviewer. Kaso sabi sa coaching sessions ko, para akong reporter na sa camera nakatingin. Hehe. I should learn to make gestures and express what I say.

    @sonsi_03 hahaha! Ma'am po ako. Infairness sa mga colleague ko tuwid naman sila magenglish may accent lang na lah,leh,mah,lor etc. pero sentence construction wise maayos naman. D naman sa magamit ng nga out of this world singlish parang "why liddat?" Hehehe. Anyway, gaya nga po ng sabi ko nung nasa waiting area ako for speaking test sobrang kaba ko. Dagdag nyo pa na ung day na ung psi 400 yung haze kaya parang ansama sa pakiramdam. Pero sa dami po ng gagastusin sa migration mas natakot po ako sa idea ng pag take 2 kaya pinakalma ko sarili ko. Hehehe isip ko nagkkwentuhan lang kami. Sa part 2 ng exam tlgang pinilit ko wag huminto sa pagsasalita until sbihin nya. Sakto lang un scores ko pero masaya nako diyan considering saglit lang ako nkapag prepare.

    elo po just dropping by to encourage ung iba pa po na hindi pa nakakapag-IELTS to self-study (even if you have enrolled in review centers)...

    Self-study po kasi ako. I only have 2 online references sa pagrereview.

    First, pinanood ko itong tutor na ito to learn all basic principles and useful tips on IELTS:

    Kahit Academic ung tinuturo nya exactly the same principle pa din except dun sa Writing Task 1 (academic: graphs; general: letter)

    I took notes of important tips para may babalikan ako for last minute review...

    Second nung natapos ko ung theories, application of what I've learned naman. I took 1 full practice tests and tried to re-enact ung real exam scenario with time limit every Saturday and Sunday. Pag weekday, since 1 full practice test will normally takes 3-4 hours, pick lang ako ng 1 section (Speaking/Listening/Reading/Writing) to practice on, at least twice durng weekdays.

    After the exam, I found na mas mahirap pa ung practice tests na ginawa ko kesa dun sa mismong exam ko on the day - this is only for the Listening section. Ung reading ang naging pinaka-challenging sakin personally. But I know writing will be my lowest score heheh kasi OA sa haba ung essay ko, I'm sure I committed unnecessary mistakes simply because my writing piece was too long. Good luck po and 1 day before the exam, please try to relax and free your mind.

    @Born ung Writing Task 2, ang tantsa ko nasa 300-340 words ung naisulat ko...too long kasi 250 words lang kelangan diba... i feel na na-prolong ko ung sentences when I could have written it simpler...

    @Born hind na po masyado. when I took the exam, nag-focus ako na matapos ko ung essay from beginning to end. for writing I just did 4 paragraphs. ung 2nd and 3rd focused on the explanation of my stand towards the issue and the specific example. Sarili ko ginawang example ko hehe.

    @sonsi_03 hahaha! Ma'am po ako. Infairness sa mga colleague ko tuwid naman sila magenglish may accent lang na lah,leh,mah,lor etc. pero sentence construction wise maayos naman. D naman sa magamit ng nga out of this world singlish parang "why liddat?" Hehehe. Anyway, gaya nga po ng sabi ko nung nasa waiting area ako for speaking test sobrang kaba ko. Dagdag nyo pa na ung day na ung psi 400 yung haze kaya parang ansama sa pakiramdam. Pero sa dami po ng gagastusin sa migration mas natakot po ako sa idea ng pag take 2 kaya pinakalma ko sarili ko. Hehehe isip ko nagkkwentuhan lang kami. Sa part 2 ng exam tlgang pinilit ko wag huminto sa pagsasalita until sbihin nya. Sakto lang un scores ko pero masaya nako diyan considering saglit lang ako nkapag prepare.
    Naku ma'am pala kayo sorry.

    Guys sorry late post.

    Not very happy with my scores.

    L - 8.5
    R/W - 6
    S - 7
    OBS - 7

    Hindi tuloy ako pasok sa B of Nursing sa ACU. I wanted to go there kasi maganda reputation ng school plus cheaper than other universities in Melbourne. Now I'm considering Charles Sturt University in NSW. Anyone going there?:-)

    Re my writing score, I don't know why they gave me a 6. Practice kayo guys. God bless!:-)

    totoo nga siguro ang tip na unahin ang essay 2 i dont why i did the letter task first i spent about 25-30 mins don

    @TinerBebi thanks for the tips. Galing mo naman po. Nakaenrolled din ako sa review centers pero parang mas okay nga po ang self study kasi mas maraming oras naaallot ko sa pagpractice. Ang kagandahan nga lang is yung 1-on-1 coaching session nila for writing and speaking..
