May mga katanungan po sana ako.

1. Sino po nakapag-pacertified true copies ng certified true copies dito sa Australian High Commission, Singapore. Magkano po ba per page? Iniisip ko kasi kumuha na lang sa pinas ng two sets of certified true copies ng syllabus ko mas maka-mura ata.

2. Sa mga taga Singapore, Nakakuha na ba kayo ng NBI dito sa Philippine Embassy? Ilan linggo bago makuha po ba.

3. Parang nabasa ko sa skill employment in the last 10 years lang, paano yung work experience ko na beyond 10 years (1999 pa) eh gusto ko sana isama sa COE para makuha ko maximum points for 8 to 10 skill employment outside Australia na 15 points.

if this is the case, super mahal ang aabutin nito if sa kay mr ee ka; better have this done sa school and ask for 2 copies. call mr ee if you are interested sa kanya, to be honest i cannot remember his price.

Yung sa NBI fingerprints tayo pa magpapadala sa pinas at bakit hindi ang PH embassy. Yung NBI clearance sa Singapore address mo ba ask to send or prefer mo sa pinas nila ipadala. -

kasi hindi trabaho ng ph embassy to process nbi clearance; they just assist to facilitate the fingerprinting procedure. what i did was pinadala ko ito sa nbi together with the fee and it was mailed back to me with the nbi doc na.

Question po...maglolodge n ako ng visa kaso hndi ko na matandaan yung Transaction reference number ko. I tried yung "forgot TRN" and sabi TRN already sent to my email address pero until now hndi ko pa rin nareeceive yung TRN ko. Kanino kaya ito pwede itawag? Thanks,

@pangrom0529 tanong ko lng po kung pano po kau naging associate members ng CPA Australia and para saan po yung exam na kukunin niu next year? thank you po sa advice.

@Kakoo, mag-aapply ka to be an associate member. kme kasi nakapagpa-assess na for migration kaya may records pa sila nung syllabi, tor, cpa cert, etc namemg mag-asawa, kaya nde gaano matagal at mahirap ang documentation at processing. application form lng tska 100 points of identification, which is nasa form dn namn. it is a standard thing here in australia to comply with the 100 points. pero madali lng sya. there are two levels to comply: foundation at professional levels. generally, pag nakakuha ka ng positive assessment sa education, diretso kna sa prof level. in this level, you need to take 4 mandatory subjs and 2 electives, totalling 6 modules. so after each module, there is an exam. the exam is after 3 months of self study. for nxt yr, $900 per subj na for early bird enrollees. the other day, i saw an advertisement for the cpa review which is quite expensive. no need for that if you are an accountant, kasi open book namn ang exam.

passing 6 exams will not automatically qualify you for the title. you need to satisfy the required 3-yr work exp under direct supervision of a cpa or fcpa. ung fcpa e fellow cpa, which means they are in the profession for at least 15 yrs. this totals to 6yrs. but you could fast paced everything to 3yrs if you want. sabay ang aral at work which is what my wife and would do. i miss the enrolment. so i'll start by feb. nga pala, they are pretty straight forward here at medyo strict, so you need to impress them during the work exp thing.

hi @kakoo, mahal mag-aral dto sa australia. your tuition will depend on your status as foreign students subsidised tuition fees of citizens and pr. we are currently on a student visa, my wife is taking masters in the univ of sydney, and her tuition is $35k a year. her program is for 2yrs. the cost is actually enough to buy 2 brand new rav4s. having said that, think of your options. our cpa licenses from phils are not recognised here. we are already associate members of cpa australia and would be taking exams next yr. plus, you have to consider the timelines to finish it in the phils and the expiration of your initial visa entry. the tuition fees among universities dont differ much kasi regulated under cricos system. for bachelors, its way cheaper dw by $10k per year. I really dont know much pagdating sa bachelors. yeah, you could probably check them thru their sites. goodluck!

@vhoythoy, not sure kung magkano ung exact pero it's about $25k per yr. re: chartered accountants, medyo time consuming sya kasi may classroom lecture at group work. mahirap for most full time working. I don't know how true pero ang exam sa CA e essay.

hindi ako accountant, but you definitely need proof of your detailed job description..
definitely pwede pa yang contract nyo kung may detailed jd.. just make sure na may signatories from the company of course.. ipa CTC nyo at iattach sa COE..

mostly dito, pinapagawa ng jd and then pinapasign sa manager..

hi @renee, pwede ung employment contract basta may naka-sign from the company OR pwede ka gumawa ng affidavit of detailed job description and let someone preferably any superior who can attest sa role mo and who can sign with complete name, position and contact details (email and phone number). ung affidavit to be valid should be notarized. ung employment contract naman e dapat notarized un ng company mo. otherwise, have it certified. both of these must be accompanied by a COE kasi supplementary lng namn sila.

i have a company na ayaw magbigay ng detailed coe kaya employment contract ang nilagay ko, and i have another kaya affidavit ang gnamit ko.

Wala namang issue kasi CPA Aus accepted my documents and gave a positive assessment for all of my work exp. For as long as you can show that what you have performed in the past is related to your nominated occupation, walang problema sa CPAA. One tip lang, strict sila sa job title. if the job title is way too far from your nominated occupation, kelangan sobrang accounting ang role. "baka" pwedeng nde ma-credit like what happened to my wife. her work exp for one company (more than 3 yrs) was not accepted by CPAA. Goodluck!

@mitchy_cpa, ang alam ko, depende sa naging work ng wife mo at sa reqt ng assessing agency nya. like for my wife who is also an accountant, we had her assessment with CPAA as well. And CPAA requires IELTS as academic and 7.0 across all modules to have a positive assessment.

If you dont mind, anong occupation ni partner?

if i may answer, in order for you to claim 5 pts for partner's skills, you need a positive skills assessment. since accountant po ang partner nyo, may requirement na dapat 7.0 IELTS ang assessing authority (ex CPAA)... so yun po dapat ang ma-satisfy nyo.. and not the minimum requirement ng DIAC na 6.0 IELTS..

kung wala pong ielts reqt ang assessing authority ng partner (like Vetassess), then yung minimum reqt ng DIAC na 6.0 IELTS ang susundin..

Ma'am, if it's really needed to meet the minimum point requirement of 60 then go for it but if it's just to increase your points from 60 then I think it's not worth the trouble. As the others have mentioned, you will still need 7 on your IELTS for a positive assessment.

@Bigfoot Sir, kung ok lang po sa inyo I would like to inquire about the nominated occupation. I have seen in your timeline that you first nominated accountant and changed to external auditor. I have been an external auditor for 5 years, is it ok kaya to nominate the accountant since in my transcript of records, I have a subject titled fundamental accounting theory and practice? o mas safe po pag diretso na external auditor ang inominate ko? hi @mitchy_cpa, may agent ba kau? you don't need course description. what you need are course syllabi. i think its best for you to take IELTS now and have the assessment and membership together whilst you're in the Phils. the reqts for assessment and membership are the same, except may dagdag lng na bayad for membership. anong batch ba kau ng BSA? if you graduated before 2003, i think there's an issue with accounting theory. but just make an appeal in case, so you'll get a positive assessment.

Hi Ma'am Gretch, there's no difference really, but I suggest that you nominate external auditor since your experience is closer to that NOC code anyway. Don't be scared of the quota since there are just a few applicants for the NOC External Auditor, and the quota has never been reached every year.

Ma'am, as far as I know required talaga IELTS for all non-native English speaking applicants. Since you're applying for migration assessment with them, choose the option to also be assessed for membership para minsanan na - this may take additional weeks, two I think, of waiting time though.

Ma'am, you can just put the same date as your application form or "present", kasi ang assessment nila for your work experience is up to the date of your application.

I tried checking it earlier, but it seems I need to pay first before they could e-mail me my requirements. As for the IELTS, is there a band requirement for membership assessment?
