dapat yung sa year na nag-aral ka...

however this will not matter too much I guess IF parehas lang ang course description sa syllabus and sa transcript mo.

Naka migrate as independent skilled malapit nang maging AU citizen ngayon.

Ilang years ago ito baka nagbago na rules?

hi @ricshei, madame ako kakilala na nde cpa pero na-approve. ang tinitingnan naman sa assessment e ung education at nde ung licence. don't know though if that has a bearing kasi wala namn use ang cpa licence natin dto sa australia.

ung isa kong kakilala, nag-aral ng Master of professional accounting dto Australia, nakapasa ng assessment with cpaa. banking and finance ang course nya sa Pinas. pr na sya nung June. ung processing time nya from lodgement to visa grant e 15days lang.

I think depende sa assessing body. In my case, yung assessment ko from CPA Australia is more on education. Kasi yung letter nila never mention about my CPA license. The letter only mentioned my accountancy degree.

@rollyn04, hi, I think kaya may bearing sa Vet Assess e dahil they are assessing internal audit occupation which need not be accounting graduate. what ba nominated occupation mo?

Strictly di nman mandatory talag cpa as long as your education and course syllabus is within their requirements and you have the relevant experiences. Cpa is ofcourse always a plus for the assesor decision on assessment.

If you think about it, vetassess should not put more weight on cpa as internal does not necessarily an accoutant/cpa's. If theres any cert that they will consider it should be the cia. Good thing that they consider cpa din tlaga.

@renee, either one. the question is more on where do you want to see yourself as a member of. sa cpaa, normally, you will need to take 6 subjs, have a 3-yr work exp approved and complete both not exceeding 6yrs. while icaa has classroom lectures, group work and I don't know what else and how long. prestige wise, mas kaunti ang ca kaya mas in demand sila. but of course, madameng ibang factors to say kung alin ang mas maganda. kasi if you'll have your assessment with cpaa and decided later on to go for icaa, you'll pass the same process and documentation. so I suggest, think things over.

sa icaa, before may fast track processing but more expensive. don't know kung meron pa ngaun. :-)

^^ based on my knowledge mas prestigious nga daw talaga ang chartered accountants. Eto lang din ang australian certification na recognised ng aicpa (us cpa) and considered a graduate degree based sa mga forums. CA is generally for public practice accountants while cpa is sa mga private/ commercial firms. Madali lang daw cpa australia based sa feedback ng mga kakilala ko and open book exam sya. The problems with certifications is maintenance since mahal ang annual fees and cpes. But If i have my way i will get ca over cpa australia.

    Hi Rolly,

Congratulations! Can you share what other pertinent docs you submitted to qualify as CPA? Did you submit your Board Examination Grades result?

We have received an e-mail from CPAA na pinadala na yung skilled migration assessment (sana po Lord positive).

    Maraming Salamat!

The syllabus is the most important part if you want to be assessed for CPA Membership; so having said that, since nasa kanila na docs mo I think kailangan mo nalang magbayad mo assessment.

My wife did not submit her board exam grades! :)

I guess you cannot submit an EOI without receiving the actual migration assessment as you need to provide kasi the unique reference sa skills assessment mo eh. I think this can only be found in the actual assessment result doc.

Thanks in advance

@lle hi lle basically wala naman kaming ni-consider for chosing CPAA. Their required documents are more or less inline on what we have. From what i have heard mas prestigous kung CA ka, so if you plan to be a CA better mag-paassess ka sa ACAA para isang trabaho na lang.

sa skills assessment per se wala as it will just assess your syllabus; but definitely this will have an effect sa work experience being claimed mo...
