Kindly double check the document sent to your email and let others know if there may have been changes in CPAA procedures recently.

  hi @renee, I agree with @bigfoot. madame ako kakilala na non-cpa na andto na. plus one who is not acctg grad in the phils pero nag masters dto, and was able to nominate general accountant. so basically it's with the academic qualification. tsaka as usual, nde na tau cpa paglipat ng Australia.
  
  but we did pass our picpa docs during migration assessment with cpaa and to our case officer.

My wife is the principal applicant so she's the one who did the trade assessment. Accounting profession po ang work ko dito and I am planning na magpa assess sa CPAA pagdating dun. Advisable po ba na gawin un doon or dito? Also, taga PUP po kayou ? madali lang po ba mag request ng course syllabus?

  It doesn't matter when you do as di naman ito requirement sa pagpunta ninyo sa australia however i always believe that the sooner you can sort things out, the better it would be...

  Hmm, la ako idea kung gaano katagal kumuha ng syllabus sa pup alam ko direct ka sa faculty ng accountancy mismo. Transcript lang na request ko sa knila at sobrang tagal inabot ng 2 months. Sa vetasses kasi ako nag process eh. Siguro mas maganda dun kana para direct pero make sure na dala mo na required nilang docs for assessment. Tama nga the earlier the better.

  we have received an email from CPAA to provide for below doc:
  
  "Certified true copy of the original exam results relating to your membership Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants"
  
  To which we replied, there is no qualifying examination to take in order to become a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants in the Philippines.
  
  We are thinking if the CPAA is referring to the PRC Board Exam Results. Anyone na hiningan ng exam results here?

  @skinnylove I included the PRC Certificate but not the exam results. Hopefully, huwag na sanang hingin as we haven't renewed our PRC License since we left Manila. The thing is, for PRC to give you a copy of your grades, you need to be in good standing.

  they did not ask for the prc license which was good coz it had expired. i never bothered renewing the prc membership in the years i worked in the phils. just send them a copy of the board exam results.

  Oh i guess u will have to request a new copy from prc. check their website if it could be done online. didnt know audit firms now are asking for board exam results.

  we can always request a copy of our board exam results with PRC for a fee per copy...in my case, I need to wait at least 3 weeks to get my copy here in Iloilo

  I am thinking of not getting the PRC grades (tumawag na ako and its a very long process especially for overseas filipinos), based on your experience may impact ba ito sa assessment?

  my wife did not submit her mark sheet from the PRC...
  
  quick tip lang, it would be better if you concentrate on your syllabus.

  Thank you, so far we haven't received any questions on the syllabus we provided. I'm praying for a positive assessment (sana po Lord!)

  Saan po makikita ung descriptions/requirements ng jobs listed on SOL for finance/accounting jobs? Accounting graduate kasi si husband, non board passer and work experience is mainly on billing. Grateful for your advice.

  get the ANSZCO code (from the SOL/CSOL) of that specific occupation..
  and then google it..
  
  take note maraming occupation codes ang related sa finance/accounting..
  so make sure na makita mo lahat yun...

  Anyone here na nagpa skill assessment through ICAA? How long bago niyo na-receive yung letter of Assessment from them?
  
  I recently had my Skills and Work (Combined Assessment) assessed by ICAA and per status sa website nila Completed na kaso inaantay ko pa yung actual letter from them para makapag proceed ako ng EOI, granting positive ang outcome. Per inquiry snail mail by post ang method of delivery nila. Usually gano katagal bago ma-receive dito sa Pinas?
  
  Sir @TasBurrFoot napansin ko yung sa wife nyo may result na from CPAA in just a month. Gano katagal nyo inantay nung outcome? By regular post din pa sila magpadala ng assessment?

  we got the hard copy of the outcome via regular post; dumating sya sa singapore a week after the date that was printer in the outcome letter...

  I also sent an inquiry sa Customer Service ng ICAA and sabi nila di sila nagpapadala ng result electronically kaya kelangan talaga to wait for the letter itself. For info na rin sa ibang naka experience or nagpapa assess tru ICAA.

  I received the assessment letter from ICAA today, 10 days after the completion date posted in their website. Talagang by regular post ang delivery nila and no alternative electronic means.
