@sonsi_03, received ko na ung review materials thanks ulit.. d pa ako nagsent ng invitation di ko alam kung paano. hehehe. sabi ko nga dun sa agent na kausap ko email nya sakin ung list of documents para maunti unti ko na sya na ma gather..

For IDP e 3PM SGT usually lumalabas ung result ng exam.

Task 1
You have heard about plans to build new apartments in public park near your home.
You want to give your opinion about this.
Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper, in your letter
*explain how you learnt about these plans
*say what you think of the park
*give your opinion on the plans

Dear Sir,
I am writing your office regarding to the article published in your newspaper, The Straight Times dated October 22, 2013. This news gave me a shock as I read about the plans of constructing an apartment replacing the wonderful Woodlands park adjacent of our residential house located at 737 Woodlands circle.

The said park witnessed how I grew up, from the day I started to learn my first step on that place until these day that I need to jog to burn my excess fats. I Am just one of the many people who has unforgettable memories that soon will be vanished away if they will continue to replace the park with a building. They will prevent the future camaraderies that will be formed in between childrens in our community who will grow up at the same time, the killing time moments of the old folks just sitting and watching the kids running around, not to mention the cold fresh air and good view that the plants and trees in the park could give.

Hopefully they will not continue with their plan as it will upset most of us who live nearby the park. It’s good to have a development but not in exchange with destroying this good heritage place . Maybe it’s better if they can try to find an alternative place to construct their apartment.

Even though Doctors all over the world agree that fast food is bad for people’s health, more and more people are eating it.
*Why are more people eating fast food?
*What can be done about this problem?
--Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Mc Donalds, Subway, KFC and Carl’s Junior were only a few of the many fast food chain available in most countries. They are growing in despite of the fact that eating their products will not give any good to one’s body except to fulfill the cravings and hunger.

Are people eating on fast food blind or deaf? Or they were just overwhelmed with the good advertisement of these companies enticing them to try and taste their mouth-watering burgers and sandwiches. The said companies grows more and more as people patronizing their outlets. The reason why they have a lot of customers is that the taste outweighs the bad thing that you may get when you intake those cholesterol filled foods. Mc Donalds has been so far successfully marketing their products, like the new Samurai burger, just the picture alone will let you crave to have one of it. Furthermore when the juicy burger touches one’s tongue, people will eventually forgets that the beef patty were full of fats that was a threat to a good health. The crispy-licious fried chicken banner of KFC will surely robbed one’s attention especially when they were hungry.

A good education of the bad things that people may get from these habit may switched them from eating unhealthy food to a proper diet. Government should invest in TV commercials and print adds to inform the general public on why these type of food should be avoided rather than funding the healthcare division to accommodate those patients suffering from illnesses caused by frequently eating foods from these outlets. A good way of doing these was to copy on cigarette ads, there’s always a government warning on the end of every TV commercial or a warning part printed on the pack of every product brought.

Good luck to all IELTS takers! Sa Speaking exam, just relax. Nakaka trigger ng mistakes pag kinakabahan. Go through it like you would in a conversation. Stop and pause instead of saying "uhm" and "ah".

Kayang kaya nyo yan!
