I'm a lil bit confused in the work experience part. Not sure kung ilang years ba pede ko iclaim. San ko ba makikita yun sa result letter? Sorry, I'm so clueless.

hello... meron na po ba kayo results from ACS... kung ano po yung na-credit nla... yun po yung basis ko sa points na ni-claim ko for EOI... I understand meron na new process ang ACS na nagbabawas ng years dun sa work experience.. so for example 6 years ang work experience mo pero binawasan nla ng 2 years... so 4 years lang ma-claim mo sa EOI.

@kayenzky - mukhang after june 2013 lang pwede i claim.

Kasi po yung sakin ang inilagay nila is "after June 2003"

Tapos ang years of experience ko is form June 1999 - Mar 2013. Mar kasi March ako nag apply.
Since AQF Bachelor ang binigay sakin (I think) kaya 2 years ang binawas sa total experience ko.

Ano pog AQF binigay sa inyo? Bachelor Degree din ba?

Ang inilagay ko sa form"
Date Completed - Kelan yung huling exam mo sa MS na nakapasa ka (check mo ang MStranscript mo)
or Other Institute - Microsoft
or Other Course - [title ng certification e.g. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist]
Normal Duration - n/a
Time Taken - n/a
Full/Part Time - Part Time

Then attach the MS Transcript as "Transcript" attachment type.

ACS considered my MS Certification as AQF Diploma with a major in computing.

Guys, at what part of ACS Application do we upload the certificates... certificates of trainings like Microsoft certificates etc.

Ito ang work experience ko :
Company A - March 2007 - January 2011
Company B - January 2011 - August 2012
Company C - September 2012 - June 14 2013 (date i submitted my application to ACS)

Skilled employment must be of a suitable ICT professional level and relevant or closely related to the nominated ANZSCO code to be counted toward your suitability.

All relevant qualifications and experience will be taken into consideration in the assessment to ascertain whether you meet the requirements to be awarded a suitable outcome however only employment completed after the date you have met the ACS requirements will be counted as skilled employment - please see the Summary of Criteria for additional information.

Your work experience - as outlined on your result letter - has been considered as relevant to your nominated occupation. In this instance all 3 of your employment periods have been assessed as closely related to your nominated ANZSCO code.

Your Bachelor degree has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor with a major in computing and closely related to your nominated occupation thus requiring 2 years relevant work experience to be demonstrated. 2 years from when you commenced employment is the date when you are been deemed skilled in your nominated occupation – this being March 2009.

Any questions in relation to the claiming of points etc. should be directed to the Department of Immigration.

So nung nagcheck ako sa Summary of Criteria, since AQF Bachelor with a major in computing and closely related to your nominated occupation ang ibinigay sa akin. Parang maging "Suitable" ako, kailangan ko ng at least 2 years of experience.

Pansinin mo yung nakaunderline na "skilled" dun sa reply nila, after noong date na sinabi nila dun magstart yung work experience mo as skilled...

Medyo nakakalito, pero parang ganun na nga, na ito ang deduction na sinasabi nila.

I know na 5 points lang ang makukuha ko na points for experience but is there a way na ang maiclaim ko eh 5yrs para 10pts? 3 months na lang kasi kaya medyo hinayang ako and still working pa rin naman ako sa Company 2. If maka 7 ako sa IELTS, saktong 60pts pero mas ok sana kung maging 65pts. If wala talaga... will move on na lang.

May sariling standard yata ang DIBP (formerly DIAC) pagdating sa pagdefine ng skilled employment.

For employment to be considered ‘skilled’ it must meet the following requirements:

• it was undertaken after you met the entry level requirements for that occupation (that is, completed a sufficient level of study or amount of on-the-job training) and
• it involved duties at the level and complexity expected in Australia.

---> What if kaya naman i-prove na hindi OJT yung early stages ng career natin?

For the purpose of awarding points, the Department considers skilled employment in the nominated occupation or a closely related occupation to be where the applicant has been paid for working for at least 20 hours a week. Working for at least 20 hours a week means 20 hours each week and not irregular periods that average out to 20 hours a week over a year.

---> Hindi po ba Payslips/ITR lang ang katapat nito?

Sana may makapagshare ng experience kung saan naging independent ang assessment ng DIBP from ACS pagdating sa work experience.

hi guys.. may question lang ako.. may certification kasi ako na ITIL v3.. required ko pa ba to isama sa assessment ko sa ACS? saan part ko sya isama ska scanned pdf lang din ba ng cert okay na? thanks!

@eccen3k, you could still claim 10 points basta makapag request ka ng bagong COE sa current employment mo na nagpapakitang employed ka pa rin hanggang ngayon.

Isama nyo po yang certificate nyo basta valid. Sakin sinama ko mga Cisco certificates ko.
Nakalimutan ko na kung under what attachments ko sya nilagay pero nilagay ko.

Marami akong mga trainings din pero hindi ko na sinama kung di naman ma verify or kilala internaltionally. Normally nilalagay lang yung pwedeng i verify na certifications (kasama vendor certifications).

@carrie, sorry kung magtanong ako tungkol sa result ng assessment mo. May detailed information ba galing sa ACS kung bakit unsuitable ang result? I am sure na Network Engineer yung line of work mo and for how many years?

walang detailed info as to why. kaya i lodged an appeal kasi i'm convinced na pasok ako sa requirements nila and that I should be given a positive assessment. 5 yrs work exp ko po.
