Thanks @rei_ya! So kapag nagrenew ako ng passport AFTER maglodge ng visa, and if ever may CO na kami, should I inform the officer immediately na under processing yung renewal ng passport ko? Or meron dun sa e-visa na option para i-notify ang department that I will be renewing my passport?

@clickbuddy2009 ayan ini-open ko tuloy e-visa ko.. when i clicked the link "change passport details", lalabas ung Form 1022.. search mo ung form.. that could answer ur question hehe.. kc di ko din alam..

Oohh.. I-renew ko na lang cguro this coming Monday para cgurado. Anyway, I could change my passport details naman pala sa e-visa.

Nag-aalala lang kasi ako kasi inaabot ng 2months ang renewal ng passport dito sa PH embassy in SG.

visa grant na kame...pero ask ko lang since my philippine passport will expire on August 2014 at IED namin is August 23, 2014 and we plan to come on April 2014...do i need to renew my passport?! and update DIAC/CO?!

@dhey_almighty sir ang standard policy po immigration anywhere is that by the time of your travel, your passport should be at least 6 months valid. so kung mage-expire po passport nyo ng august at magtratravel kayo ng april baka po di na kayo iallow magtravel kasi 4 months na lang before expiry.

May advantage po ba kung i-mention ko na meron akong relatives na pwede tuluyan pagdating namin sa Perth. Or it will just make my SS application more complicated? Hahanapan pa kaya nila ako ng evidence or documents na magpapatunay na meron nga akong relatives sa Perth? How bout kung sasabihin ko rin na madami akong relatives sa Melbourne?

@alchemicus thanks for the info... anu po ba possible reasons why may nadadagdag at may nawawala occupations sa list? does it mean over na ang applicant for the year? o may other reasons behind it...like low demand? thanks for your time! cheers!

I'm not too sure. :-/ Yes, I think baka napuno na 'yung cap/quota/limit for a particular occupation, tapos baka i-refresh o i-reset na lang ulit 'yung intake ng applicants for next year. I think factor din 'yung prevailing labour market conditions and needs ng bawat Aussie state/territory. You can update your passport during or after visa application, you just have to fill up Form 929 and send it to your CO. Just include the copy of your new passport in the form.

may tanong po ba na ganun? ang problem lang kasi baka hingan pa kayo ng additional documents to prove that. Also, ung relative sa Melbourne baka isipin din na lilipat agad kayo sa Melbourne considering na meron nga din relatives dun.

@clickbuddy2009 - Yes, its a plus factor to put in your relatives in Perth. My time, you need to provide their address and contact number, not sure sa current processing kung ganun din.

For relatives in Melby, some say "no" to this kasi baka maging disadvantage lang but for me, I did indicate our friend in WA and our relatives and friends in Sydney din...kasi I just thought it would be advantageous for them to see that we already have connections in Australia and have a support system kahit sa ibang state yun. Na-approve naman po ang WA SS namin

In your case po, since relatives na po ninyo ang nasa Perth, that may be enough to prove that you have "ties" in Australia :-bd

@wiz, @clickbuddy2009, ako din di ko na nilagay. I think naman na wala naman bearing whether you have relatives there or not since you are applying for state sponsorship bases on the merits of your qualifications.

Nagsasagot na po ako nung application for SS, nasa part 2 pa lang ako which is merong "expense estimates." However, di ko makita yung part na magestimate ng relocation cost or magpprovide ka ng monthly cost of living. Ang meron lang sa part 2 ay "*Provide a breakdown of your estimate of settlement funds." Medyo paranoid lang ako na i-continue kasi di pa naman talaga ako ready to fill up everything in one sitting. Gusto ko lang makita kung ano ung laman ng application at test na ito. hahaha...

Hala, I'm about to confirm and pay na po. Bakit wala ata yung part na magccompute ako ng cost of living, or kelangan magattach ng mga links for possible jobs.

Any idea po about this? Bago na po ba application process ngayon? Am I missing something?

@clickbuddy2009 wala naman po talagang ganun. Ung saken ah. Meron lang po declaration ng funds tapos sa test meron queries about job but you don't have to attach possible job ads sa ACT lang un alam ko.

@clickbuddy2009 hehehe sbi ko nga po sainyo wag nyo na dibdibin. Google google lang ako nung pagka receive ko kasi gusto ko agad maka lodge. Pero nung nareceive ko invite natagalan ako kaka double, triple and quadruple check ng visa application ko. Hahaha. Natakot ako masubmit ung payment tas may mali. Dun ako nagspend ng time.

Wala po. Kasi ang preferred region ko po ay Perth lang. Hindi ako pumili ng regional talaga kasi ung work ko pang city lang .

siguro pag Perth lang wala na ganung queries.

Tama po si @wizz, huwag masyadong dibdibin yung WA SS exam, hehe... ;-) Google-Google lang 'pag may time, hehe... Tapos, nagbigay din naman 'yung WA ng mga links kung saan mahahanap yung mga sagot (http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/skilledmigration/Pages/Statenominationtest.aspx). Nagamit ko rin po itong "reviewer" doon sa exam: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/994i.pdf

Regarding naman doon sa breakdown ng settlement funds, isasama na rin dito 'yung estimated monthly cost of living (housing rent, food (home-cooked meals or take-aways), transportation, utilities (electricity, internet, water, pang-load ng credits sa prepaid mobile, etc.), entertainment (if any, like cinema tickets, amusement park tickets, etc.), etc.). 'Yung sa akin, isinama ko pati kung magkano ang magiging airfare ko papuntang Perth at 'yung fees para sa pagpapa-cargo shipment ng mga ilang gamit kong naka-kahon, pati 'yung expected bond/deposit kapag magre-rent na ako ng uupahan ko.

@Wizz - Thanks for the feedback. Nagsubmit na ako ng application sa WA. Pasado naman ako sa 3 tests. Sana ma-grant ung State sponsorship ko.

Ung iba naman nagsasabi baka abutin pa ng 30days. Unlike sa IELTS at assessment na may idea ka na kung kelan mo expect na lalabas ang resulta. Malamang mas lalong tension ang mararamdaman kung visa grant na ang inaabangan. Ready na kaya ako sa part na yun? Hahaha….

) sa buong process ko, swerte lang ako sa WA SS na Friday ako nagsubmit tapos Lunes approved na at may invite na. Aside from that lahat sagad ako sa timeline. hahaha! But yeah, thanks to this forum at least alam ko na hindi ako nababaliw at lahat tayo dadaan talaga sa ganitong stage.
