@hard2handle sa tingin ko kahit sino ang magkafulltime na job. Whoever completed the residency and condition will be the one to apply for pr status then dependent na lang ulit yung iba. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics defines a 'full time position' as one in which employment is normally for 35 hours a week. You are allowed to work in up to two concurrent part time jobs to meet the one year (35 hours a week) full time work requirement.

IMPORTANT CHANGE - Visa label free arrangements in the Philippines from 1 June 2012

Australia’s modern electronic visa system does not require you to have a visa label placed in your passport to confirm your immigration status and entitlements in Australia.

From 24 November 2012, if travellers still need or request a label they will need to pay a fee for it. This cost for a visa label is called the Visa Evidence Charge (VEC). Travellers can only request and pay for a visa label if they have a current Australian visa. Regardless of when a visa application was lodged, or a visa granted, anyone who requests a visa label after 24 November 2012 will be charged.

The charge for a visa label is AUD70 although there will be exemptions to the VEC for humanitarian, diplomatic and government sponsored visa applicants.

To facilitate your travel to Australia make sure you print out a copy of your visa grant notification letter. When you check-in to fly to Australia, airline staff will refer to your visa grant letter and passport to electronically confirm that you have authority to travel to Australia prior to boarding the aircraft.

@Shirlie yup Melbourne ako, hopefully by April or May 2014. Multiple entries yung visa, so basta nakalampas ka na sa oz immigration sa airport, pwede ka ulit umalis ng oz. Pero dahil provisional lang ang visa, i think advisable to stay for good until you get your PR.

@rolly04 tama ba intindi ko? if family migration, ok lang bumalik yung ibang family members after serving the IED? Sa case namin kasi may wife and kids will go back after the IED then balik sila end of the year in time for the start of the school sa AUS ng January.

Since provisional visa tayo and we'll have to satisfy "at least 2 year residency and at least 1 year employment" before we can apply for PR. Kung sakali ako yung maka-satisfy nun I can just apply for PR and make them as my dependent or lahat ng applicants for PR needs to satisfy the "2years and 1year".

Hope you can clarify. Thanks in advance.

Fellow 496ers, meron ba kayong kilalang naka provisional visa na nakapag apply na for PR? Hope someone can share his/her experience. Thanks

Follow-up questions... Correct me if Im wrong, kahit sino with 496 visa (primary or secondary) may travel in and out of AUS, residency lang ang maapektohan, right? Paano kaya na binibilang yung residency? Kailangan ba 2years straight without leaving Aus?

    Sana may makasagot :-/

sana maka join sya dito sa forum natin para marami tayong matutunan :-)
