b) now if you have another qualification (example Bachelor in IT), pero not related to your nominated occupation, definitely hindi yan i-assess ng assessing agency mo.. if you want to claim points for that, you need to have an additional educational qaulification to assess the equivalency of that degree (if that BS IT is equal to an Australian Bachelor Degree)
you can request Educ Qualification Assessment sa "VETASSESS"...

Lately ko na lang po nalaman (after anmc skills assessment) na pwede ko ding ipa-assess yung non-related educ qualification ko sa vetassess (dito ko nabasa sa forum). Naghahabol po ako sa time dahil mababawasan yung age points ko (-10) pag inabutan ako ng birthday ko kaya di ko na pina-assess at di din ako sure kung bibigyan ako ng 'comparable' to oz bachelor degree yung sa Phils (nasa section 2 yung school). Kaya nag-go na ko sa EOI. Sa EOI, yung diploma lang ang inilagay ko. Sa visa application, na-encounter ko yung question re 'highest recognised qualif'.. Nalilito ako kung i-me-mention ko pa po ba yung bachelor or kahit hindi na, ilagay ko na lang yung diploma??

anyway, kung nasatisfy mo nmn ang total 60pts sa EOI at mainvite ka na..
that will be good..
pero mas malaki ang chance sana kung mas mataas ang points mo...
why not submit your EOI... then continue with vetassess educ qual..
pag nauna ka nainvite.. disregard the vetassess...
pag hindi ka nainvite at dumating ang vetassess result... edit your eoi to reflect the changes para tumaas ang points... (that is kung AU degree ang equivalent).. atleast you tried..

Hindi ko po nilagay yung bachelor sa EOI. Though 10pts na-claim ko sa educ for diploma, umabot naman ng 60pts. Got SS approval at naka-receive na po ako ng invitation to apply for visa. Inumpisahan ko na po sagutan yung visa online. Dun po ako may concern sa pagsagot sa visa question.. better po ba na mag-stick na lang ako sa diploma without mentioning the bachelor??

pwede mo na ilagay yang bs degree mo sa visa application..
makikita nmn ng CO mo na hindi mo yan claim sa EOI...
at kung sakaling gusto ka nyang bigyan ng points dyan sa degree mo, eh nasa decision na yan..
basta ang importante, yung mga claimed points mo ay kayang suportahan ng docs na i-upload mo..
