Sa Aselaide kasi kami so walang citibank. 3 pa options ko, anz, nab and hsbc. On the process ko pa silang kinakausap
Definitely the branch of Commonwealth in SG cannot be able to assist you; if you want to open with them, there is a link in their website that is for migrant banking.

@TasBurrfoot - same lang pala sila ng NAB. I can open with NAB online but the wire transfer will be done by the local bank. Hindi rin daw ako ma assist ng NAB Singapore to transfer the funds.

Ang plano ko sana, deposit sa NAB SG then transfer to NAB AU (thinking na makaka tipid ako). Ayun di rin pwede. Ang local bank kasi dito, ang daming charges to transfer the funds to AU na different bank, percentage pa sa amount na ita-transfer.

Mukhang ANZ na best bet ko. Isa nalang ang tatanungin ko which is HSBC. If negative paring… no choice nako.

@ringo, same din with ANZ SG mate... They don't do transfers for free I believe - iba kasi ang operation diyan sa SIngapore at sa Australia.

What we did was transfer our money from DBS; yes may mga fees but wala ka magawa dun as far as I know. Apart from the fee, maybe you should take a look as well at the FX rates. Normally banks with bigger operations (such as DBS) will give a better rate. On top of that, if you reach a certain amount, they will be giving you a more favourable rate din.

All the best and let me know if free and transfer sa ANZ.

@peach17 oops, sorry ngayon lang ako uli naka visit dito. DKT pala yun, driver knowledge test….pag naka pass, then i'll get learner's para may valid ID na ako then practice driving para makapag full license after.
I am still waiting for the TFN before going to the bank to submit my TFN and input my ATM pin. Tinatamad akong pabalik balik kaya saka na yung ATM pin, hehehe.

I am aiming to master the RTA Practice Online Exam and actual driving so I could get a driver's license instead of applying for the RTA Photo ID which costs $40+.

okay ba tong plans ko? hehe
Ano yang RTA Practice Online Exam sis @nalooka?

Come to think of it, ano nga pala most common religion sa AU? d ko pa na search to ah.

    Google for Everything !!!
