sa mga nag aaral dito sa OZ at sa mga coming students....we all know na maganda at masaya kapag marami tayo sa grupo na nag bibigay suporta sa isat isa....kahit na hindi financially pero nakakatulong pa rin to know na we are tracking the same journey...come on guys share your experiences and expectations in OZ...

maganda yong speech ni christopher pyne yesterday for us all international students here in OZ at saka sa mga nagnanais magstudy dito...one of the important points he brought was ang dati daw na govt dito sa OZ ay hindi masyado supportive sa mga international students while sila sa present government ay sisikapin nila na magiging maganda na naman ang takbo ng international student and education industry dito sa OZ dahil isa rin itong malaking resources for the government....

hi sis, nong sa tafe ang prices ng mga books are ranging from 60$ to 160$ pero swerte si wifey dahil at that time may friend siya na ahead sa kanya so hiram lang siya ng books from her. Pero ngayon na nasa masters na siya, sabi niya ganon pa rin ang range ng books though at this time anybody can just borrow from the library. Maganda rin aw at nakakatulong kung meron ka ipad kasi madownload mo lang doon ang mga lectures. Sa studies nya ngayon, hindi na siya bumibili ng books dahil downloaded na sa ipad.

My husband is going to take up his Masters course hopefully early next year and I will be his dependent. Did you take IELTS and have your skills assessed before you landed in oz? Just want to learn from successful student's dependents like you. Really inspired with your posts. Iba talaga pag nagtutulungan ang magasawa. : ) God bless.. TIA!

Hi, thanks for your affirmation...ang masabi ko sa experiene namin na it was accompanied by luck and determination....plus ang malaki na factor talaga ay prayers...alam mo ba na one time noon August 15, 2010 early morning na down kami dalawa ni mrs at naiiyak na siya dahil kunti na lang natira sa allowance namin....at wala pa akong work...buti na lang mga noon time sa tulong ng prayers nakarealize kami na if magiging negative at down kami wla kami patutunguhan ...so yon tuloy na naman ang job hunting ko thru seek ang dami ko nasubmit na application dyan sa seek jobsite may interview naman ako charity at call center work kaya lang hndi natuloy....then came itong friend namin na matagal na rito at siya ang nagrecommend ng isang agency sa akin..yong ang start ng work ko dito....hindi na ako nag ielts at hindi ko na rin pina assess ang background ko sa HR manager sa atin dahil hindi siya related sa accounting field ni mrs.....then after nong sa agency nagiging dishwasher ako sa restaurant ng friend ng pinsan ko then nagiging factory worker na naman ng 2 companies before dito sa company na pinapasukan ko ngayon....kaya advice ko sa inyo na hwag mawalan ng determination lalo la pag andito na kayo dahil ang laki ng investment nyo (time, money everything)....at expect na for your start here may mga challenges talaga.....may mga relatives ba kayo or friens dito? Good luck anyway....

Hi sabi ni mrs mahirap yong course nila ngayon dahil every week ilang chapters tinatapos nila (one meeting) at ang dami paperworks....buti na lang si mrs ang background niya ay accounting pero may mga kaklase siya na nag fail sa subject nila kaya retake ....ang mahal pa naman per unit (2k $)..sige lang sis/bro pagbutihin mo lang at ang importante sa lahat...pray harder...see you here in melbourne....

Ngaun naman kinakabahan na ako at excited.. sana matapos ko yung course in time.. nga pala, before going there, would you know kung ano mga kelangan ko gawin sa pinas? May mga docs ba ako na kelangan ipakita sa immig sa pinas? Or kelangan ko ba magpamember sa kung saan man before leaving PH? Maraming salamat!

i don't know kung may pagbabago na ba ngayon but dueing our time (July 2010), wala naman kaming ginawa na magpamember or whatsoever basta lipad na lang kami papunta melbourne....i don't know sa iba kung ano experience nila...congrats anyway

Hello po sa inyong lahat, bka pede po nio ako mabigyan ng idea though nag lodge pa lang po si misis ng kanyang application for studying AU at ako ngapo ang kanyang dependent, God willing na makarating kami pareho may chance ba na magkaron ako ng sponsor para sa aking employment kung makahanap ako ng work while si misis ay nag aaral. paki elaborate na lang po ng chances ko.. salamat

Jun ang mashare ko na yes may posibilidad na ma sponsor ng employer ang isang dependent kagaya ko......pero i'm not giving you any assurance at all kasi depende yan sa employer.....have sent you an email already...good luck bro....

matagal tagal na rin pala wala update dito sa thread na ito. Any interesting news from you guys regarding sa visa application nyo at sa mg bagong dating na mga students dito sa OZ. Ang trend ngayon dito sa Melbourne ( have no idea with other states though) ay medyo mahirap maghanap ng job ang mga new students lalo na ngayon pa end na ang year 2013. Hopefully next year mas marami sana chances for our bros and sis lalo na sa mga bagong dating. kasama ko sa couples for Christ may kakilala siya na may cleaning so if ever gusto nyo mag try mag cleaner dito sa melbourne inform me about it and I will coordinate it with my bro from CFC. happy holidays everyone.

Oo medyo mahirap maghanap ng work ngayon lalo na pa end na ang taon...anyway holidays mo na ba sa school? At ano ba available sked mo para ma relay ko sa kasama ko.Nasa bundoora pala kami ni wifey nakatira...ok pwede tayo mag coffee one of these days....

Hello guys....kumusta na ang mga visa lodgement nyo? anyway kasali kayo lahat sa prayers ko na sana ay ma approve na lahat ng visa nyo. On our part ni mrs, excited na kami dahil nalalapit na ang end ng pasukan nila..bale matatapos na niya ang course niya at hopefully we can proceed to our next phase ang 485 graduate temporary visa.....

Hi kuya!! Kumusta?? Dito na kami ni hubby sa aussie! Hehehe sa mittagong, nsw kami.. Pwede po bang mag apply si hubby as assistant chef?? Masarap po siyang mag luto especially filipino dishes pero wala po siyang formal education in culinary.. Ok lang po ba?? Hehhee thanks kuya!
