    I plan to bring with me my desktop CPU which i plan to use as our HTPC box. It's a Lian-Li PC-A04 with 1 SSD and 4 HDDs. Any tips how I can bring this with me and how much it would cost? Any issues I need to be aware of? (aside from the item being potentially inspected for illegal movies, music, etc.)

    @silvre hindi naman nainspect yung 3 hard drives ko pag in-out ako dito... not unless siguro ipakita mo..

    Ok yung SSD bitbitin mo dito.. bumili ako ng crucial m4 128GB.. 160AUD ata.. feb/march? 2012 pa ata ito. I wont suggest dalhin mo yung PC.. masyadong malaki.. damit na lang.. since mas mahal ang damit dito.. mas ok kung laptop/notebook since you can squeeze it in..

    Pwede ka rin makabuo ng PC dito tignan mo yung mga price sa http://www.msy.com.au/

    Mga 2009, 6-8 box ata na 20k ang naship ko noon from chinapost..to perth.. tapos mga 3 x 20k from PhilPost lang.. mga Php2k-3k lang (cant remember) via SAL.. Mostly damit, unan, curtains, baby clothes, winter clotes, bulky items etc. Sabi mga 6 months daw bago dumating pero 1-1.5 months dumating naman... I wouldn't suggest shipping appliances and furniture here.. daming old furniture kung saan saan na sale naman...

    also note.. 2009.. i remember i took singair and pumunta ako sa makati ofc nila and told them... i am a "first time migrant" to AU. Bali they adjusted the total capacity namin to 120k ata.. 40k each x 3. for no extra cost. Parang privilege ito eh.. you need to show the PR visa stamps ofcourse. Note economy lang kami. Pagbaba namin airport mas mataas pa sa misis ko yung patong patong na maleta..

    Hi guys! Ask ko lang po if anyone has tried shipping their stuff to Brisbane? Anu forwarder ginamit nyo and may additional payment po ba for custom duties?

    May nakatry na po ba sa backofficeboss? Plano po kasi namin dalhin yung 42" lcd tv namin. Kaso di sya kasya sa balikbayan box. Nanghihinayang po kasi kami dahil bago pa sya at kung ibebenta ay sympre mababa nalang dahil 2nd hand na. Please advise.

    mj4, pack and send seems to be a reliable company mahal nga lang rates nila. Is it worth the effort ba? kasi yung sony store dito sa brisbane cbd naka sale yung bravia 40" nila ng $550 na lang, yung 55" smart LED nila is less than $1100.

    @Davidx23 thanks for your reply. nagtry lang ako kasi baka possible na madala kung mura lng naman kesa bibili pa kami ng bago. pero kung mura naman pala diyan siguro nga better kung iwanan nalang. :)

    @hanzyboy May binayaran ka pa ba sa customs here in Australia nung ngpadala ka thru DHL? I actually went to DHL to inquire and they quoted 5800 for 17kg to Sydney. The box will arrive in Sydney in 3 days pero me bayaran daw ako sa customs pagdating dito pero la cla idea how much. Can you tell magkano binayaran mo? Thanks.

    Nagpadala ko 55kg pero wala ako additional na binayaran, karamihan na pinadala ko used na na. Depende yata sa dineclare mo na value nung items yung sa tax di lang ako sure.

    We used DHL 3 years ago. reliable naman and 7-10 days nadeliver na.
    Mga 10k ang 25kg. The problem was kung may clothes especially used ones idinadaan yata sa UV rays. Kaya after a few weeks nakatanggap kami ng $100 plus na bill from Quarantine. Kaya yung mga sumunod naming ipinadala wala nang clothes.

    In my opinion kung kaya ninyong dalhin as prepaid excess baggage, mukhang mas mura pa lalabas. Kung naman gusto ninyo talaga ipadala, iwasan nyo nalang ang clothes. Bawal din pala food, medicine sa DHL.

    Guys need help.. we recently used DHL to shipped our stuff from Pinas.last March 25 namin pina ship. doon sa declaration... nakalagay ay "used" clothes, toys and shoes.. Currently, when we track the shipment through the website, naka "The shipment is awaiting the next scheduled movement" status sya sa Hongkong since yesterday 1PM (Sydney Time).. may naka experience na ba nito lately.. I'm worried baka na hold dahil sa "used" clothes declaration......50kg shipment sya na binayaran namin sa pinas ng around Php16.5k..

    @ADL .. based sa tracking.. ito na yung status ng shipment:

    "Due to the nature of the goods, specific authorization is required from a regulatory authority other than Customs for further clearance"

    nagkaganito din ba yung shipment nyo? yung time na pinagbayad kayo ng 100AUD..

    sa mga nagpaship through dHL from pinas.. paki share naman kung na experience nyo itong ganitong status ng shipment noong dumating sa Sydney....
