Subclass 489 - help

Pa help po. Subclass visa holder po ako. Nakalagay sa vevo na pwede ako tumira, magaral at magwork sa designated area exept sydney brisbane and new castle. Ibig po ba sabihin nito na pwede ako sa melbourne? Ang sponsor ko po ang ate ko na nasa ellangawan nsw pero may bahay din sila dito sa melbourne. Pero pinapaupahan nila ngayon ung house sa melbourne.

As of now nandito ako sa melbourne. Pero nag woworry ako baka magka problema ako. Thanks!

Im assuming you have visa 489 relative sponsored in a designated area.. That means you can only live in designated area stated in your visa.. Your visa was approved on that conditions..

Im definitely sure hindi ka pwde tumira sa melbourne city..

@axln im not sure about 496.. But for 489 there are two types...
-relative sponsored in a designated area
-regional sponsored..

In both cases dapat kung saang area ka na approved dun ka dpat tumira.

Now there are people here who were able to asked to be released by their sponsoring state (with valid reason such as wlang work sa area).. Pwde nmn daw un based sa experience nila..

But if you want to trnsfer just because you want to transfer, wala nmn pipigil, but we dont know what is the effect on that in satisfying your visa/ citizenship residency reqts..

@axln- pareho tayo ng condition. Ganyan din nakalgay sa akin. Dapat mag padala ka palagi ng form 1022 everytime na magpapalit k ng address.

@lock_code2004 - siguro nga di ako pwede sa melbourne city. Pero feeling ko allowed naman ako sa suburb ng melbourne. Nandito kasi ako now sa truganina, victoria, suburb sya ng melbourne. Then last month Kumuha ako ng drivers license for learners binigyan naman nila ako. Sinubmit ko lang ung passport ko. Di naman siguro nila ako bibigyan ng license kung di ako pwede. Tama ba ako??

@Wyn_Cinric pwede naman ata kahit saan. Basta i update mo sila palagi kung nagpapalit ng address. Ung pina assess ko sa new south wales sa ate ko. Pero tumira ako dun for 1 and half month. Then lumipat ako dito sa victoria. Nag apply ako ng drivers license binigyan nman nila ako. At saka pag di naman siguro ako pwede dito mag rereply naman siguro sila dun sa mga letter ko regarding my new address. Pero baka tumawag din ako this week sa immigration. Para sure.

ahh on process ka pa lang pala. may bibigay naman na list sayu ng mga documents pagnakapag lodge ka na ng visa. Kailangan mo ng sponsor declaration etc. nakalagay naman un sa bibigay nila sayo. pagnaka lodge ka na mabilis na lang yan.

piece of advice para mapabilis ung process ng papers mo. need mo sila i followup. tyaka lang nila yan papansinin pag kinulit mo na sila. ung sa akin kasi after 6 months kung di pa ko nagfollowup di pa papansinin.

Hi, so far walang ganun nakalagay sa visa conditions ko. I'm sure pwede kahit anong work. Ang condition lang sakin is 8539 Must stay in Specified Area. 489 has a Pathway to PR via subclass 887 walang nang points system but must satisfy the following before granted PR (887).
-Requirements
you have lived for at least two years in a specified regional area of Australia
you have worked full time for 12 months in a specified regional area of Australia

@michel_75 - kahit anung work pwede. sabi naman sa visa not necessarily kng ung field mo ung trabaho mo. as long as nagwowork ka full time.

based naman sa Pathways na nabasa ko. need ata mag IELTS ulit pero this time mababa na ung requirement. nasa 4.5 na lang ata. wala ng point system kasi tapos na un. tyaka mababa lang ung fee nung application. gaya ng sinabi ni @Isyut 2 years ka nakatira sa designated area tapos 1 year full time job to any fields. un dalawa ang pinaka major requirements ng pathways to PR natin.

@jacsme Hindi ko nakita among the documents checklist na need pa mag IELTS ulit.
Although, it stated in the website as follows:

Family members English language proficiency

For each of your dependant applicants who are aged 18 years or older at the time of application must provide evidence of Functional English. If the applicant does not have evidence of having Functional English, you will need to provide a statement indicating your intention to pay the second instalment of the visa application charge.

@Isyut nabasa ko din na need IELTS pero 4.5 na lang. Nahihirapan kasi ako sa IELTS hehehe

@michel_75 not sure if need pa mag IELTS ulit. Need to clarify on this. But yung sinubmit na IELTS during pag lodged nang 489 visa di ba valid pa yun? Not sure if applicable pa din ba yun 3 yrs validity nang IELTS.

Requirements

or
you hold a Bridging visa A or Bridging visa B after applying for a subclass 495, 487 or 489 visa.

pero dito wala naman ielts na hinihingi.

@michel_75 sa tingin ko for secondary applicant yun. But I read in other forums di naman daw sila hiningan na IELTS ulit. Yung IELTS ata validity nila is 3 yrs sa DIBP. Anyway, priority na e comply is yung 2 yrs residency in regional area at 1 yr na full time job. And of course, yung police clearance din pala.

visa 489 relative sponsorship visa is point tested as well
your occupation should be in SOL...

thanks lock_code2004...i was actually contemplating on applying visa 489 because i got 6 in speaking IELTS but i just then found out that for accountants, i still need to get band 7 in all components. the best thing to do right now is to retake and pass everything...

Hi!

Baka po pwedeng pa-clarify lang re the condition: worked full time for 12 months.

Per fairwork.gov.au kasi: Full-time employees usually work 38 hours a week. They’re paid for a full week’s work and get paid annual leave and sick leave.

Pero sa mga nababasa ko dito sa forum 35hours/week. Sabi din kahit 2-3jobs pa basta mag-account into 35hours/week in 3 years' time, pasok na yun sa condition. Pero pano yung 2nd sentence based sa definition ng fairwork? Eh ang mga temp jobs, no work-no pay so contra na sa 2nd sentence.

Please help po. Thank you.
