    @sonsi_03 ...thnx po in advance. anyways, girl po ako. nasa 60 points na po ako,sumabit lng tlga ako sa ielts.tntwanan ko nlng to,para less stress. nasa SOL p po occupation ko. either i choose IE or process/plant engineer.

    work experience related to occupation=almost 9 years=15 points
    education= IE grad,school @section 2=15 pts.

    Hi guys,

    I've been lurking this thread for quite some time now..and nabasa ko from start to finish hehe...Its a very helpful thread...

    I just took my IELTS exam in IDP last March 15 and sadly my results below... I was able to finish my writing exam but didn't have time to back read so I was expecting of a not favourable result... I'm thinking of doing a retake nlng instead of remarking...haysst..

    Listening: 8.5
    Reading: 9.0
    Writing: 6.5
    Speaking: 7.0
    OBS: 8.0


    Almost the same tayo ng scores nung firt take ko. To increase my writing score I shortened my essays. Around 160 for task 1 and around 260 for task 2 lang, dati kasi aroud 200 and 300 mga essays ko. More time to edit your work. Editing is a big part in my opinion. Less words, less mistakes din. Make sure lang na you followed other criteria. I followed ielts-simon.com way of writing essays and added few techniques from my review center.
    Hi @bytubytu..thanks for the advice! Eto nga kelangan ko gawin... need more practice pa... Tama nga sabi mo..minsan masyado tayong concerned sa number of words, di na naka focus sa editing after. Maganda nga bigyan ng enough time para ma check yung essay/letter na nasulat. :)

    Writing Task 1 - 170 words para safe
    Writing Task 2 - 260-280 words (less words less mistake).

    Sa bawat sentences dapat laging nandun ang cohesion madaling intindhin ang punto.

    Of course time management 20-40 ang hatian unahin ang task 2 dapat me tig-5 minutes ka for proof reading.

    Stressful at mabilis talaga ang oras kaya mag practice po kayo ng maigi at orasan ninyo.

    Nag try po ako practice nun kasama oras..usually nakakatapos ako in half the required time kaya cguro nag feeling na kaya ko na, medyo naging lax ako sa aral sa writing kasi sa akin eto yung nakakatamad hehe ilang sample essays lng nagawa ko yung iba di ko pa natatapos tsaka sa isip ko pag makagawa ka naman ng maayos na essay ok na yun, kaya ending po eh sumabit... Nung exam bigla ang bilis ng oras naghahabol na matapos lng yung dalawang tasks :D

    Lesson learned din for me na hwag masyado maging kampante or maging over confident. Practice pa rin ng practice kahit sabihin natin gamay na natin ang isang category...di mo kasi alam mangyayari pag exam proper na. An dyung mga tips and advice dito eh malaking tulong din.

    Oo, haba nyan, ang pag kakaalam ko, pwede yan i-fill-up sa pdf mismo rather than filling it up by hand using pen, then print, then i-sign mo yung sa signature page, then i-scan ulit. Pero yung ginawa namin dati is print the form, fill-up by hand, sign then scan.

    Hi guys! For those BC ietls takers who are having doubt to apply for remarking on their writing and speaking. I'd suggest to text Sir Ervin of Niner your examiner number for writing and speaking so he could advise whether your examiner was lenient or strict. From that, it might help you decide for a remarking or whether just to retake the exam. PM me for his number.

    Baka po meron dito nakakaalam ng local number sa british pasig? Penge naman po sa page kasi nila wala dun trunkline lang meron. Nalilito kasi ako sa sked nila online mag tatake kasi ak sa may 24 ang nakalagay dun speaking and writing sked lang paano un reading at listening.thanks

    done with my speaking exam. eto yung mga natandaan ko.

    part 1 - questions about my hometown, what I dislike about it. do i enjoy shopping, how often do you go shopping etc.

    part 2 - describe a place you visited that is very far away from home
    where it is, when did you go, what type of transportation you use...

    part 3 - eto di ko maalala pero related sa travelling. marami tanong dito na nahirapan ako :(

    Hopefully makapasa na ako. My written exam will be on Sat.

    Hi guys, im planning to take ielts on May 10 do you think a month preparation would be enough? Saka do you guys have the link to the official website of IDP manila gusto ko lang maverify na tama yung site na nasearch ko sa google.

    Sabi sa 3 weeks prior to exam ang pagparegister based on your experience ilang weeks kayo naga paregister prior to exam date?

    Lastly , I hope I can back read fast para sa tips and links but mejo kapos na sa time sana meron makapagshare kahit ng page# and links ng mga important tips. Thanks alot! :)

    04/22/14 - Start iELTS review no more excuses
    06/21/14 - ielts IDP: L = 7, S = 7, W = 6, R = 6 (boom sablay >,<)
    08/16/14 - ielts IDP: L = 8, S = 7, W = 6, R = 7.5 (Writing again omg)
