Victoria State Sponsorship

@winzky yung ginawa ko is gumawa muna ko EOI declaring my current points - 55 pts total - then pinili ko yung option to be nominated by State and I chose Victoria. After completing my EOI, pumunta naman ako sa site ng Victoria then applied for State Sponsorship (http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/)... one of the things na itatanung sau sa Victoria State Sponsorship application mo is yung reference no of your EOI. You will get an acknowledgement from Victoria na they received your application. After that, just wait until they send you their results within 12 weeks after they have acknowledged your application. If you get positive results from Victoria, then along with the positive Vic SS result, you will also receive an invite to apply for your 190 visa from Skill Select. From my exp, I got my Victoria SS and 190 invitation after 6 weeks from applying sa Victoria SS so you can get it earlier than the prescribed period of 12 weeks. Your EOI will then reflect that you have 55 points plus 5 points for VIC SS = 60points

@janntdl yes, 16 days lang approve na, medyo mabilis sila that time, ewan ko lang ngayon kung ganun pa rin. When I applied, ito yung mga natatandaan kong documents na pinasa ko. CV, skill declaration (madodownload mo ito sa website nila, then print, sign and scan mo), IETLS results and degree certificate.

@RyanJay Sir, ask ko lang po, when you applied for the 190 visa, do they ask you to pay for the second installment for it, kasi sa website nila, kailangan daw iprove ung functional english ng wife or husband na included sa application, nagpresent po ba kayo ng documents para dun. kasi pagwala ata additional 4000+ AUD ata ang bayad.

@janntdl - nope they did not asked me to pay because we gave proof for my wife's english is functional. You can either have your spouse take an IELTS exam and get a score of 4.5 OBS or if you spouse is a graduate, you can send a certificate from his/her university/college stating that his/her course was taught in english.

We sent 2 certificate. The first one is from the school where she took her bachelors degree and the second one is from the school where she took her masters.

Hi guys, would you know kung tinanggal na ng Victoria yung requirement na ang work experience should be post-qualification? Hindi ko na kasi makita yung explicit statement na yun sa SS section ng site nila, eh last updated siya nung Feb 24.

Guys, need help. I logged my EOI 1 month ago but have not received an invitation yet. I would like to try for VIC SS na lang as backup. In my EOI I selected 189. What di I need to do?
1. Update my EOI para i-check rin yung 190? (Both 189 and 190 and naka-check dapat?)
2. Go to the VIC website to submit application for SS?

@orangesoda victoria has a standard refusal reply. Normally sinasabi nila na though you have met their requirements as a skilled worker, kaso it just happen na there are applicants more suitable and qualified than you. Im just not sure what was the reason given to @Jay04.

Hello pag na refuse for state sponsorship sa victoria diba 6 months bago maka re apply? is this for 190 lang or kasama ung 489 visa? ibig sabihin po ba kng na refuse sa 190 visa eh kahit 489 visa after 6 months pa pwede re-apply?

@netzkeenet tama po, 6 months then you can re-apply sa Victoria. I am not sure though if you go another Visa route kung same waiting period applies.

In SOL, it's 2613. Quick update - i applied for VIC SS on March 14, but have not been approved yet. Also, I did not update my EOI yet so sa ngayon, only 189 is checked/selected. Am I doing the right thing?

I knew an applicant from other forum who was granted Victoria sponsorship last year. He had estimated an amount, he did not show any proof of funds, I think it was deffered.

Just to remember this friend, unluckily, that time Victoria sponsorship does not required IELTS then upon application so he has to take the IELTS after sponsorship was grated but unfortunately he could not get required score even he took the IELTS 4 times, he asked for some extensions, he was allowed few but he was given last and ultimate but still from his last try i dont know for whatever reason he did'nt get the IELTS score he has expected to get. The extension expires until my dear poor friend gave up. It was difficult for me what had happen to him, through his post i could see that he is a good person. But i could not do anything until i had'nt known his whereabouts by then. If only then those review centers have show up clearly through their advertisement dessimination or if only i knew then there was 9.0 Niners or something like that to offer my friend he should not experience being fall short of a visa grants. haayz!!! huuu!!!

hello, good day! my husband works as bank manager and plan po namin na mag apply for gsm state sponsorship. just want to ask lang po if do we need to take ielts first bago kmi mag pa assess sa assessing authorities? and australia base lang po ba tlaga need magpa assess for gsm state sponsorship. hope to hear some help from you guys. thank you.

You need to have the 190 checked on your EOI otherwise VIC SS wont be able to see it on their system. CHeers!

@mj0203 Depends on the nominated occupation po, under minor group 222 ba (first 3 numbers of the ANSCO code)?. Kapag ang assessing body is under VETASSESS, you can proceed with the skills assessment first, then IELTS.

Got my VIC SS first contact today. Was required to make a statement why I choose VIC.

Submitted my VIC SS last Friday and today is 2nd business day pa lang. It seemed the process is getting faster.
