    @gmad06 parehas tau 2 beses ako bumalik kasi di naman sinabi na dalhin yung re-entry permit or yung old passport na may chop ng unang datibg q dito. Yung DL lang from pinas pina photocopy q tapos yung lang sinubmit q not int'l license na nabangit mo. Bute kamo natago q pa very old OR nung nag renew ako way back 2002 kasama xa sa sinubmit q.

    Question, I saw this statement in SPF website regarding the conversion of foreign DL...

    "Foreign Driving licence that expires with the expiry of a foreign visa

    If you are a Singaporean or PR who holds a foreign driving licence that expires with the expiry of a foreign visa, you are required to obtain a written extract from the licence issuing authority of the country that your licence was issued. The extract should show the passing date, date of issue of your licence, the class of licence attained and your driving record.

    You have to register for the Basic Theory Test within 3 months from the date you return to Singapore so that your conversion may be granted subsequently."


    Does an expired PH DL qualifies on the above? If yes, yun LTO ba natin nag-iisue ng some sort of written extract like what is being asked in the statement above para majustify na the foreign DL is legit. TIA sa reply.

We are facing a dilemma kung anu pipiliin namin- state-sponsorship or relative-sponsorship. May mga pros and cons ang dalawa. Mas like namin ang relative-sponsorship para at least secure kami if ever magipit. THough baka naman wla kaming mkkuhang work. Sa sydney pala ang ibang relatives namin.

    @isyut, feedback ko sa DL. ok lng non-prof converted cya pero class 3 lng, no motorcycle lic..tsaka hinanap tlaga yung cert off first issuance ng PH-DL ko, at original pa hinanap at hindi na to isusuli so make sure u have a copy para at least mapakita mo sa OZ. nets or cashcard lng and bring a photo..walang internatl permit hinanap sa akin.

    @isyut, feedback ko sa DL. ok lng non-prof converted cya pero class 3 lng, no motorcycle lic..tsaka hinanap tlaga yung cert off first issuance ng PH-DL ko, at original pa hinanap at hindi na to isusuli so make sure u have a copy para at least mapakita mo sa OZ. nets or cashcard lng and bring a photo..walang internatl permit hinanap sa akin.
    @gmad06 Maraming salamat sa feedback mo. Ngayun ko lang nabasa. BTT Exam ko this 2pm today sa CDC in UBI Ave. Eh wala ako cert of first issuance ng PH-DL ko, panu kaya yun? Anu yung original yung Cert of 1st issuance? Tsaka yung photo passport size lang?

    @Isyut passport photo with wyt bakgrnd ang sinubmit ko, tsaka di mo yata kelangan ng 1st issuance cert kung masnauna yung date of issue ng DL mo compared to ur pass, at least 6mos cguro..oo the original doc i was rfererring to is the cert of first issuance ng DL ko..
    @gmad06 salamat sa info. pumasa ako sa BTT Exam kanina but when I queued up para sa conversion the PH DL ko hinanapan ako nung "Cert of DL records" ko daw. I'm not sure kung pareho lang to sa Cert of 1st DL issuance. Pero yun ang sinulat sa pink form. Pag meron na daw ako nun tska ako bumalik. Meantime, pinapalakad ko pa muna yung cert na yun sa LTO samin. Sana makuha ko yung cert agad para ma process na yung conversion ko. Sa June na kasi ang alis ko. Salamat again ha at Goodluck sa Journey mo!

    @Isyut passport photo with wyt bakgrnd ang sinubmit ko, tsaka di mo yata kelangan ng 1st issuance cert kung masnauna yung date of issue ng DL mo compared to ur pass, at least 6mos cguro..oo the original doc i was rfererring to is the cert of first issuance ng DL ko..
    @gmad06 salamat sa info. pumasa ako sa BTT Exam kanina but when I queued up para sa conversion the PH DL ko hinanapan ako nung "Cert of DL records" ko daw. I'm not sure kung pareho lang to sa Cert of 1st DL issuance. Pero yun ang sinulat sa pink form. Pag meron na daw ako nun tska ako bumalik. Meantime, pinapalakad ko pa muna yung cert na yun sa LTO samin. Sana makuha ko yung cert agad para ma process na yung conversion ko. Sa June na kasi ang alis ko. Salamat again ha at Goodluck sa Journey mo!
    the sad thing is ayaw pa nila icheck lahat2x kung ano mga kulang mo para isang balikan nalang..yun ang nangyari sa akin...congrats for passing!

    @TasBurrfoot how do you call the "local LTO" po ng South Australia para ma-google ko requirements nila po? Thanks.

    New residents

    If you are issued a permanent visa and become a resident of South Australia, you must obtain a South Australian driver's licence within three months and you may be required to surrender your overseas driver's licence. Once you are issued with a South Australian learner's permit or driver's licence, your overseas licence is invalid.
    thanks po. dahil wala naman akong PH DL, I think mas practical na hindi nalang kami kukuha ni misis ng PH DL. Doon nalang sa SA directly. My opinion lang po ;)

    hello po, may nakatry na ba dito na kumuha ng police clerance sa Police Cantonment Complex dito sa SG na ang dala ay:
    - immi acknowledGment of valid application
    - immi visa application summary
    Pwede ba?
    instead of iyong letter talaga ng DIBP requesting for police clearance?

    Gusto ko na kasi kukuha while vacant si misis kasi mahirap siya makapag urgent leave o sick leave sa kanila
