Hello mga kababayan, i am currently processing my papers for pr in aus. My husband kasi ay may health problem. His liver is not functioning well. Like ngayon, nagdadialysis siya once a week para ma survive pa ang liver niya dahil may iniinom siya na gamot for his lump on his head.

Possible ground for rejection kapag hindi nyo ni-declare. Irerefer automatically sa MOC yung application nyo and it's up to them to decide kung approve or they will give you a clearance. Kapag nasatisfy nyo naman yung health conditions nila, they will grant you the visa.

@Pokie, mam, if you don't mind me asking, ano po tawag sa medical condition niya? If ayaw niyo po share for privacy reasons, ok lang po yun. But I don't think it's advisable to conceal a medical condition. I think the best thing is to get clearance from his doctors if PR ang application niyo.

    Goodluck po,

    @Pokie ayan si Doktora @nadine..

im not sure about the Visa kung babawiin or hindi..

the best thing is declare it in your medical exam (if you decided to proceed with the applicaiton).

masasabi nating strict ang AU sa mga ganyang cases pero hindi naman nila i dedeny agad-agad yan.. meron review process on how to determine kung magiging burden ba sa overall medical system ng AU ang case nyo...

they call it Net Benefit Approach, chine-check nila kung if ever magkano ba ang magiging cost ng gamutan nyo versus anu ba ang contribution ng famly nyo sa Australia...
so malaking factor kung skilled kayo pareho at may posibilidad na mag work..
kung kailangan ba ng mahabang gamutan/hospitalization or mga tipong check-up lang..
marami pong factors na i-coconsider... if you can search sa google kung may mga parehong cases kayo at kung na bigyan ba sila ng visa..

it's a big risk.. but we will never know unless we try..

@Pokie, I'm assuming liver abscess? If it's plain and simple nana lang, I don't think major issue yan with visa issuance.

But I feel that there will be questions about his dialysis.

So suggestion ko po, get all medical clearance as possible and give it a shot. Hindi natin malalaman until we try. If it's willed, it will happen.

Hi po, may tanong po ako. Ano po magiging effect if mataas yung BP sa medical? Kasi po i have gestational hypertension which according to my OB 4-6 weeks from delivery pa mag back to normal. Right now mataas pa rin BP ko though nag indicate naman ako na im taking medication due to gestational hypertension. What do you think will be the impact po ba? Thanks :)

Meron ba dito naka experience na may condition na mag undergo muna ng medication before they decide on the visa application?

Salamat po ng marami. Nalulungkot talaga ako. :(

    Moving on...
God has bigger plans for me than what I have for myself...
    To God be the glory!

Hi.. Iga Nephropathy (wikipedia search) was detected wayback 2002 with 'persisten't microscopic hematuria and proteinuria detected 4/5 yrs ago through urinalysis. It is of unknown etiology according to my doctor. Once there's upper respiratory tract infection (i.e. tonsilitis, pharyngitis), dumadami yung rbc count sa urine.
From 2002 till present, all kidney function tests are normal (KUB ultrasound, Crea, BUN), BP normal. Progression is slow (thank God).
Proteinuria was well managed with maintenance drug.

Can someone enlighten me or had the same case of mine, what might be the approval chance? Though it wouldnt be burden to AU's medical services, i'm still worried.

I have all medical records and med certificate.
we're keeping our hopes high and counting on Him.

@nadine..ur medical point of view? :-)

@TheDreamer, as far as I know, 2 things that will likely lead to visa refusal: 1. Community health hazard, 2. Will unduly strain medicare due to costs.

IgA nephropathy is generally manageable. If you have good BP control, normal cholesterol and normal kidney functions, I'd say your chances are good, presupposing all other visa requirements are met. Suggest to maintain healthy living so as not to "work" your kidney too much, and check kidney functions regularly.

    Goodluck! :)
