Hello po. Im a newbie here. Nabasa q po na very helpful tong site na to.
Im applying for a student visa with my husband as dependant and we had an interview at australian embassy last wednesday feb.26 2014. I received a text message via PIASI today, feb 28 2014,that my passport/documents have been dispatched to courier already.
Ask ko lang po kung ano nila ibig sbahin. Thabk yoo pu. Hope to hear from you guys. Nakakakaba kasi

By the way,.hindi pa po ako nkakapag pamedical nung inenterview kami ng husband ko because im having my menstrual flow during that time..tapos after two days ..nkareceived ako ng notification text na " we are pleased to inform you that your passport/documents have been dispatched to the courier". What do they mean by that? Refused po ba? Oh my...wag naman sana...

Hi guys. Medyo natulog oo ang topic na to . Anyway ask ko lang po sa mga svp visa 573 holders na po, kasi sa mga unis na. nagfillup ako ng application online, they still ask for proof kung san mo kukunin yung funds mo ... ano po yung mga prinoduce niyong documenys? Enough na ba yung affidavit of financial declaration po? Question din sa OSHC, this needs to be paid upfront na 5k ba or may other options to pay for it?

I think grabe ang backlog ng AU embassy ngayon. 573 ang application ko for bachelor in accounting which should have been processed for 21 days only, per their website. But I got my approval after 2 months. March 4 ang lodgement date, visa grant is May 6. Ang tagal...I'm just glad the wait is finally over and I can finally move foreward with my OZ dream...Good luck po sa iba and hopefully kayo na rin ang susunod

By the way, I'll be bound for Sydney this coming 2nd week of June or 1st week of July 2014.Baka po meron ibang female soloista jan who's already in Sydney or papunta pa lng, nghahanap kc ako ng ka-share ng room and Sydney buddy. Just PM me guys pls..thanks..

@jaimeph i am also planning to do the same kaso degree holder na ako sa pinas so baka questionin bat pa ako kukuha ng diploma kung ganun.sa halos araw2 kong pagbabasa, i came across diploma to degree program ng tafe which is under svp so higher chance of visa getting approved however yung concern ko is the fee. under D2D A$4200 ang fee whereas kung diploma lang A$1514 lang yata.. has anyone availed of the diploma to degree program under svp?parang march 2014 pa lang yata to naimplement..

@lmrccjlg My pinoy friends studied TAFE first dito (Cert 3 & 4 Aged care) under 572 then now decided to study in university (Bachelor in Nsg) under 573. They also have bachelors degree in Pinas before they decided to study here. Im not sure but I think DIAC allow this case. Ask help in admin here. Cheers.

@amedina ah ganun ba yun?bs nursing ba sila dito?business course kasi ako kaya naninigurado ako na makapg-PR sa oz kc wla sa sol ang grads ng business course.ask ko lang,nung naglodge ng 572 visa yung friends mo indicated ba na cert 3&4 kukunin nla or cert3 lang muna?ilang yrs nla tinake ung cert3&4?

@lmrccjlg Yap. They told DIAC na cert at TAFE kukunin nila. At first, cert 3 aged care muna sila for 1 yr (572) then took another course which is cert 4 aged care (572). Tapos since ala sila makuwa na employer to sponsor them and they want to stay here for few more years, they took bachelor in nursing in uni (573). They already have jobs in nsg homes ever since they came here but hindi na nag-ssponsor mga employer for working visa. Laki ng gastos nila pero that's the only way na makaka stay sila here. Cheers.

@amedina bnayaran na ba nila agad ung tuition fee nung cert 3&4 or ung cert3 lang muna?pwede kayang diploma agad?bus mgt grad po kasi ako dito.balak ko kumuha ng diploma in acctg sa tafe nsw tas degree sa acu since my diploma to degree program po sila.. tia..

@lmrccjlg Cert 3 muna then cert 4. Magkaiba tuition nun sa TAFE. Im not sure if there's a difference bet. Cert & diploma. I think you can take diploma first then transfer ka to degree. That's what my friends did. If ACU has a program for that, edi pede ka. Just tell DIAC about the prog that they offer.

@lmrccjlg have you tried consulting IDP? They're services are free. Mag makati and cebu branch sila. They helped me a lot from school to visa application.

Hi. I have a degree Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management here in the Philippines. I got the news about how hard is it to find a sponsor for a 572 Visa considering our family do not have a million of funds on the bank. With regards to aunt/uncles, they must be an Australian Citizen for them to sponsor. I am wondering if I can directly apply for 573 visa instead? Since this visa is not requiring anymore for a financial document or proof of funds; but with expensive tuition. Is it okay if I will pursue Bachelor's Degree in Australia though I already have one here in the Philippines and also I was not able to study from Certificate III Hospitality first? Looking forward for your response. Thank you!

@ceasarryan yun ang trade off ng 573,mahal ang tuition pero no need for show money and nakasave ka ng time whereas sa 572 mas mura nga tuition pero kailangan ng show money at sayang yung time.. try mo rin magconsult sa mga migration agents para matulungan ka nila magdecide..pwede ka rin magbackread dito sa forum..dito ko kasi naintindihan ang process ng pagaapply ng visa..

Sana may sumagot po skn khit sobrang tagal na ng thread n to. ask ko lng kung hndi nb tlga hinanapan ng proof of funds sa mga nag apply ng SVP? baka kasi mag apply dn ako next year hoping you guys could enlighten me.

@mdlsntmria hi sis, based sa readings ko on the student thread, under visa 573, DIBP won't be asking proof of funds but you have to include in your application a declaration/statement that you have unrestricted access to a fund that will support you in your studies and living expenses in AU. however, there are schools that although they are SVP, they still look for proof of funds like sa FedUni. Hope this helps.

@mdlsntmria ipapanotary po diyan sa atin sa pinas. hindi ko lang alam kung ano pa ang kailangan sa notary office pag magpagawa ng ganyan. si sis @iheartyouboy iyan lang din ang ginawa eh.
