    got the copy of my contract na pala thru email, intay ko n lang yung original n pinadala daw nila thru post. I'm so happy while I'm reviewing the contract, wala n nga ako pakialam sa sweldo, ang nsa isip ko lang may work na ako, although temporary atleast mgagamit ko itong stepping stone :).

    Hello sa inyong lahat! sa sobrang depress ko nitong nakaraan eh napunta ako sa forum na toh, i want to share my story lang and ask any advice sa inyo.

    Nung august 2013 ako dumating dito, having subclass 101 visa, child dependent visa. Di ako CPA, management accounting graduate po. may 1 year work experience sa Bayad Center. sa june matatapos na ung cert 4 in accounting sa chisholm. utang muna kay mama ung tuition. natatakot aku na baka after matapos ko ung course eh wala pa ding mangyari or di ko alam pano ko hahandle ung mga job search dilemma. MYOB ung accounting software na inaaral namin.

    gusto ko sana malaman kung anu ung chances ng MYOB/accounting work, and mukhang napansin ko bibihira ung nagaapply ng no work experience, kc di naman toh yata tulad sa atin na they are willing to train you from scratch.

    or any suggestions po kung anu magandang gawin after finishing ung course. im from melbourne nga po pala. salamat salamat. di ata ito yung proper place para sa comment ku, tsk. ang local experience ko lang pala dito is nagwork aku sa plastic factory 3 months din. ayun, salamat salamat !

    Guys eto naman problem ko ngayon hindi na ako nag aapply pero may nanliligaw na company saken nung nalaman nya na andito na ko ngayon. Kya tuloy ngayon stress na stress na ko kakaisip kung lilipat pa ako kasi mas maganda offer pero nahihiya naman ako sa company na unang kumuha saken dito sa oz. Kaya talagang proven hindi mahirap maghanap work dito as in!

    well sabi nga nila ang swerte ni Juan ay hindi pareho ng swerte ni Pedro. You are very lucky na napaka rare ata ng skillset mo at pinag aagawan ka. Unfortunately most of us here find it really challenging to land a job. medyo obvious naman kasi majority (not all) inaabot ng 1-3 mos bago makahanap ng job. so, again yung paghahanap ng work dito is really case to case basis. i just want to make that clear.

    also, kahit cleaner job mahirap dito sa Perth.

    took me almost 6 weeks to land a job. hindi ko na mabilang ang application ko at pumatos na din ako ng unpaid internship prior to that. ang habol ko lang hindi ma-drain yung savings ko kaya sabi ko pagpatak ng maka one month ako at wala pa din sukdulang magwalk-in ako as kitchen help, cleaner or whatever. i cannot just sit inside my room while watching my savings for years going down the drain. then answered prayer and big blessing happened and was able to land a job by REFERRAL. I think dito sa Perth malaking bagay talaga na mairefer ka. Ni-hindi nga naka advertise yung job na nakuha ko. It is not exactly what I was looking for but still related naman and office work siya. So, it will do for now.

    So, here's my 2cents for jobhunters in WA (i'm speaking only about WA as i am not sure about the situation in other states)

    socialize - wag magkulang lang sa kwarto at humarap sa laptop magdamag. importanteng importante ang pakikipag socialize sa mga ibang tao na matagal na dito. meet new friends and explore at mas malaki talaga ang impact ng referral dito.

    wag mawawalan ng pag-asa and keep on praying he will always provide what we need. :)

    @rencerencerence may advantage ka na kase dito ka nakapag-aral. Nakita ko yung MYOB software na ginagamit sa Government agency dito sa NSW kaya wag ka masyado magworry. ;-) May mga specialised systems kase dito sa Australia eh, tulad nyang MYOB and ICMS. normally dito rin yan dinevelop.

    question hindi ko alam kung may nagtry na nang ganitong senaryo, may visa kana then nasa either country of residence ka at the moment tapos dun ka naghahanap nang work mahihire kaba at yun ba ang mas praktikal gawin?

    kesa pumunta nang AUS agad kahit may visa tapos apply nang work inside.

    salamat pakirephrase nalang kung may mali haha
