01. Philippines Passport 02. College School Records (CHED Aunthenticated) 03. IELTS 04. English Medium of Instruction (college) 05. @engr_boy - halos nagkaparehas pa tyo ng username..heheh..singapore based din ako..patayan tlga construction dito sg lalo na pag sa main con or specialist side ka..nanggaling ko sa both parties..tapos puro government projects pa kaya matindi deadline..(downtown line mrt 1 to 3)..nung huli kumuha nlng ko Registered Technical Officer Certificate sa IES (institute of engineers singapore) pra maging inspector nlng muna and magka time pra dyan sa mga daming paperworks for australia..
Advice ko syo pre since i know kung gano kabusy dito..kuha ka nlng agency dito singapore pra mag assist syo kundi di mo magagawa yan. Parehas lng presyo ng migration agency fees ng sg at pinas..mas secured ka pa dito..asikasuhin tlga nila maayos and makakausap mo in person yung migration agent..matutukan mo pa sya..so di advisable na sa pinas ka maghire ng agency..
Try mo eto..Aumigrate - +65-61002878 look for wilson/hai peng..yan yung agency na ginamit ko for my visa..alis na nga ako end of this month..
Tanong mo namn dun sa kausap mo na australian company baka kelangan nila civil engineer..hehehe..happy new year nlng..goodluck sa ating lahat..

mga sirs, if for example I have given the chance to study in asutralia, do I have to have a work that is related to the course that I have taken before I will be given the chance to be granted a working visa? or just an employer that is willing to sponsor me be enough? thanks

kung estudyante ka kahit hindi naman related sa pinag aralan mo puede ka mag work kahit anung part time work. you have a chance to work maximum of 20 hrs per week pag school break kahit 37.5 per week puede.
Ang tanung dyan... yung qualification mo sa inaapplyan mo na work. madami estudyante nag wo work sa mga services area... like sa groceries, department store, restaturant
kung sa offices kailangan skilled ka.
pag working visa kailngan may employer kana bago dumating sa australia. cheers

thank you for the prompt reply.. ang plan ko kasi is to apply for a student visa, and then if I made it there will be working at the same time while studying.. ang inaalala ko lang is when I finished my schooling wherein I plan to take up either Cert 2 I.T. or Cert 4.. kailangan ba ang aapplyan kong work is related sa course ko?

sir, why do you want to study to australia? working ka na ba sa Pinas?
nung nagseminar ako sa idp, may exhibition ang mga different schools dun ng AU... sabi nila, ang student visa, after makagraduate ay pede magwork for 3 years, parang temporary siguro but I'm not sure po... better research on this one or you can ask IDP...

engr_aldsNorth Ryde Posts: 13Member Joined: Oct 17, 2011
@keishi16 hi..subclass 475 yung visa ko..not sure kung mahirapan dad mo but you can try to search online may mga free assessment naman dun para malaman kung abot score nya. if di pa rin kayo sure, the best thing to do is to approach any migration agency for assessment..although may bayad yun sa pagkaka alam ko which last time i paid 500 pesos..try to find a reliable migration agency..kaso di ko alam kung anong agency ok dyan sa pinas..
take note also na may rumors about the change in procedure this coming july..lalong maghihigpit na daw australia sa pag apply ng mga visa..hope this helps

Hi @keishi16! Baka you have qualifications para maging principal applicant for 175 or 176 and then just include your dad in your application. Or try to search din an employer who's willing to sponsor you.
@engr_alds ganun po ba. pero how long did it take for you to get you visa po?

would it be better to find first an employer that would really sponsor my dad? pero diba mahirap po yun? this is for my dad's case po. i need your advice po

Try nyo apply sa seek.com.au, careerone.com or go to the jobs page above.

@5000rpm, strict ang Australia sa issue ng study and work...kung mag-aaral ka, student visa yan at 20 hours lang per week ang puwede mo gamitin para magtrabaho...that's barely enough to sustain you and your schooling....on a positive note, mas madali makapasok sa Australia as a student, yun nga lang di ka puwede magfull time job dun at magastos ang tuition.
Kung habol mo talaga ay makahanap ng trabaho, then working visa ang kailangan mo...visa 175, 475, 121, 457 etc (andami pang iba hehe)...mas mahirap makakuha ng visa kasi marami requirements pero pag nasa Australia ka na, you are free to work AND study at the same time
keishi16Quezon City Posts: 11Member Joined: Jan 09, 2012
LokiJrQuezon City Posts: 2,616Member, Moderator Joined: Jan 13, 2011
@keishi16, hehe sorry akala ko nagttrabaho ka na...puwede ka magstudent visa hehe...dun sa tatay mo get him to answer the points tested visa first...kung aabot pa siya ng 65 then puwede pa...otherwise, kailangan siya kumuha ng mga sponsorship visas para makapasok ng Australia
keishi16Quezon City Posts: 11Member Joined: Jan 09, 2012
yes sir, already working here... as we all know, and sad to say medyo mahirap kumita dito sa pinas.. what I have read so far is that you have to have a working visa after you study in order for you to stay and work in australia..
if I were you, better migrate using 175 or 176 path... masyado mahal pag student... ang isang sem is mga 33KAUD, tapos ang hinihinging show money ng au embassy, 1 year ng equivalent ng tuition mo bali 66KAUD yun... tapos dadaanan mo rin yung path na mag IELTS ka... so halos pareho lang... ang migration walang show money na kelangan depende sa state... kung meron man hindi ganon kalaki... (well depende rin sa state)...
just my opinion.

salamat sa mga inputs, i'll take into consideration all your suggestions... actually yun yung isa sa mga iniisip ko regarding applying for an immigrant visa which is more straight forward approach but mas mahirap makakuha.. that's why i'm opting for a student visa then work my way up from there.. maybe take up some vocational course muna, then after finishing the course, hopefully.. and i mean HOPEFULLY can get someone to sponsor me and apply for working visa..
LokiJrQuezon City Posts: 2,616Member, Moderator Joined: Jan 13, 2011
@keishi16, medyo off topic pero ito yung eligibility sa 457 visa 1) Accept an offer of employment from the employer; 2) Apply for the 457 visa; and 3) Work in your nominated occupation, and for the employer that has sponsored you
My understanding with this visa is that walang age limit kasi may employer na nag-offer sa inyo ng trabaho...so in effect, labas na ang immigration dun hehe

They forward the CV in their client. they will wait for their client response kung napili ang daddy mo padadalhan ang daddy mo ng offer sheet or job contract draft. Goodluck cheers
