Hello! Question po... kapag sinabing per hour or per day ang salary mo sa AU, are you still required to work for 8 hours a day or 5 days a week? If not, usually how many hours are you required to work in a day or week?

If you compute that, meron kang 640 per day and assuming that you work for 20 days per month, you'll get 12800 AUD per month. This is for business analysis type of jobs.

Yup malaki nga po, I guess siguro in 1 of those job ads, meron nakasulat na short term lang or project based. So mas malaki nga yun sasahudin mo sa work na yun. Hehe. Pero wala ata superannuation mga yun and other benefits.

yung ganyan sahod applicable yan sa mga may local experience at dipende pa sa number of year of work experience. Walang company ang magbibigay sa iyo yan kung kararating mo pa lang sa australia. Unless kung ang ginagamit nyo na standard sa work ay parehong standard din sa australia. cheers

they give out hourly salary rates pero most often than not, they will not allow you to work overtime...which is great for the employee kasi di ka pilit magpuyat sa trabaho

yes,possible yang scenario na yan. Nung ako ay WA regional skilled nominated din but wala naman akong napasukang work sa regional area ay nag apply ako sa city proper and natanggap naman.

@k-mavs Bakit ka naman mahihiya if di ka namang kayang bigyan ng work para sa daily needs mo at ng family mo ng regional area na nag-sponsor sa iyo? 5 years na ako sa WA, 2 year as 457 and naka 3 years na din as PR status.Mga kids ko ay citizens na lahat.
I got a friend na 4 times ng bumagsak sa TRA nya and I told him na magwork muna sya ng atleast 1 year sa regional area ng WA. Nakinig naman, na-sponsoran sya ng employer nya as RSMS na di na need ang TRA at IELTS. So after magrant yung PR status nya ay bumalik na sya sa metropolitan part ng WA.

Wow! that's nice to hear sir. akala ko na limited lang yung options natin kapag we are in a 475 visa. Possible ba sir na mai-sponsor ka ng RSMS visa kahit kakadating mo pa lang diyan with a 475 visa? Iniisip ko po kasi kung once na nanjan na ko sa Regional WA e maghanap ako ng company na pwede magsponsor sakin for a RSMS visa. possible po ba yun?

Hello newbie po. I started applying a job at seek.com.au and it seems that it's difficult to get a job there if you have not gotten a visa yet. I work for a rural bank for almost four years now and my husband has a sister and first cousins in oz particularly in Geraldton who are willing to sponsor us. In God's will, if they gonna pursue the sponsorship to our family what type of visa should I apply for? I really don't have idea about visas applicable for us. I think I would be the primary applicant in the family since my husband is only a high school grad who used to be a military servant (Philippine Marines Corp).

I would really appreciate any advises you could give me here maam/sir.

@k_mavs If makakarating ka na dito sa Australia with 457 visa sa regional area, just work very hard and galingan mo sa work mo.kase yung employer mo mismo ang mag sponsor sa iyo for RSMS VISA. In my case nung 457 visa pa ako ay nasa city proper kami ng Perth,WA and isa kami sa mga affected sa world recession so di makapag-spomsor ng PR ang company namin.So ginawa ko since ok naman ang IELTS ko ay nag-apply ako ng sponsorship sa WA Regional area and nagrant naman.after that nag-apply na ako ng PR subclass 175 Visa. Fist Class Machinist ang binigay na skill sa akin ng TRA after assessing all my documents.after 7 months, granted na PR status ng family ko.

If you are thinking na skilled migration ang visa na gagamitin nyo, its not possible if ang sponsor ay mga relatives ng husband mo.I have tried minsan na ma-sponsoran ang bayaw ko at mother-in-law ay nadeny because wala kaming blood relationship.So my wife sponsored them. in your case,i got friends here na same ang story nyo.But they just made their way tru Student visa, since na pag nakarating kayo lahat dito ay may work-right ang husband mo at ikaw ng 20 hours per week.you need to take a course like masteral siguro since nasa banking ka, while your husband naman ay magwowok.

Sir/madam, in my case, how much IELTS band score should I need to obtain to qualify for sponsored visa? As per checking with my school, it falls on section 2 and I think zero po ata score non. I really wanted to get a job in oz and so I'm working hard getting important details for oz visas. As much as I wanted to stay here (pinas) at mamuhay ng ordinaryo, kya lng lalo na kasing humihina economy natin. Inisip ko plang future ng mga anak ko, theyre still young and there are four of them, ngayon pa lng prang ang hirap na.

@sledgehammer, thanks for the info po. Btw, as per experienced with my husband sister kasi, she had an arranged married with someone who qualified for a visa (not sure which type of visa they'd applied) way back 2008. They were sponsored by my husbands' first cousin. Also, the primary applicant was the husband since undergrad din yong sister ni hubby and doesn't have any job experiences here sa pinas. I dont know how they went through the process and the kind of visa they got, but they actually made it. Di ko pa kasi cla nakakausap sa ngayon coz I just recently decided about getting to this plan. But I was able to get some of the requirements they had processed before and I'm not sure if these are still the same as follows;

1. Diplomas - primary, high school and university/college
2. Transcript of records from the university
3. Any training certificates/ seminars attended
4. employment certificate stating your job position and the date you commenced work with them
5. Resume
6. IELTS result
7. Passport
8. Birth certificate from NSO.

Kung family sponsorship ang habol niyo, di na mahalaga kung ano trabaho o tinapos ninyo ng asawa niyo. Icheck niyo na rin sa website na yan ang mga requirements. Ang alam ko kasi pag family/relative sponsorship may financial check gagawin ang immigration.

Hi Sir! 475 Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa po yung aaplyan ko hindi po 457 visa. My question is it possible that when i arrive there in Oz with a 475 visa would i be qualified to be sponsored by an employer with an RSMS visa so that i could work in Perth?

FYI po ma'am. Perth is considered as a regional area under the RSMS program. Kaya yung inquiry ko po is sponsorship via an employer thru RSMS program when i would be successful in getting my 475 visa.
