General Skilled Immigration Visa - Step By Step Process

@chiffonscarf , trying to get one pa rin, in GOD's time.. na busy ako last week went to remote location to do work, tanong ko lang pano ang preparation ng mga documents sa assessment kailangan ba naka lose lang ang mga documents or naka paper clip lang bawat group sa isang folder? Do I need to prepare it like making report with table of contents and divider page per group e.g. identification, qualification, application form, etc., please help. thanks again.

No need to place in one folder as I separated each with a paper clip when needed. Depends sa instruction ng assessing body mo. With Vetasses, there is no instruction to create a table of contents. Musta na po?

hi! newbie here. may question lang po sana ako. may limitation po ba yung dependent lang na magwork sa Australia? i heard kasi na di makakawork yung dependent for a year pagdating dun. follow up po, if may skills assessment and IELTS passer naman sya, ganun pa din kaya yung case? thanks in advance po!

Skilled – Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175 & 176)
This visa allows you and any secondary applicants included in your visa application to live as permanent residents in Australia.
Australian permanent residents can:

live and work in Australia on a permanent basis
study in Australia at school, Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector or university
receive subsidised healthcare through Medicare and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 475)
This visa:
allows you to remain in Australia for up to three years and requires you to live and work in a Specified Regional Area in Australia
allows accompanying secondary applicants to work and study, but only in a Specified Regional Area of Australia
provides a pathway to permanent residence.

-This means na pwede po mag work ang dependent or secondary applicant sa Oz. Wala pong work limitation yun basta approved yung visa ng primary as skilled visa yung dependents nya pwede rin mag work. Wala pong nasasabi na di pwede mag work for a year yung dependent with a skilled visa. Try nyo rin pong i download yung Booklet 6 ng DIAC para mas clear yung explanation nung mga visa subclass dun. Hello po... question lang when filling out online application and paper forms... do we have to include our middle name? or talagang Given name lang?

like:
Surname: De la Cruz
Given Name: Juan Middlename or

Surname: De la Cruz
Given Name: Juan

ano po ang tama? given that in my passport magkakahiwalay naman ang Surname, Given Name at Middle name ko. I just dont know if I have to include the middle name.

@KTP Yung sakin po sinama ko na yung middle name sa given name. Kasi may chance kasi na may kapangalan ka kaya sa middle name na magkakatalo.Hehehe.

Ako po hindi na, kasi if check mo sa passport, meron dun portion given name = first name mo. Iba pa yun lugar nun middle name.

guys, ano benefits ng visa 175 vs 176 (state sponsored)? Same din ba na pwedeng allowance nyo sa government once ma-approve kayo?....

Same po lahat ng benefits kasi pareho sila permanent resident visa. Difference lang is sa state sponsored, you have a moral obligation to live dun sa state (and work) for 2 years. Sa 175 kahit saan state ka, pwede.

Assallam Allaikum!
I am currently working here in Libya and decided to apply there in AU (Canberra). Done with the IELTS exam (Academic OBS - 8) but still waiting for the VETASSESS result. Sana po ay hindi maabutan ng July 1, 2012 doon sa bago nilang migration law. The skill that I am applying for is either Nurse Educator or Nurse Researcher. Since I am here in Libya, I opted to seek help from an agency there in AU (Victoria), the agency is NoBorders Migration Advocates. Maayos naman po silang kausap at sinasabi po talaga ang status ng application. I hope everything will be fine. Good luck po sa lahat ng nagapply at magaapply.

Sa question po na to "Do you currently have, or have you ever had, any national identity documents or numbers
(including birth registration numbers, social security cards etc)?" Yung idedeclare mo ba ng ID kailangan mo pa mag attach nung scanned copy?

@k_mavs yup alam ko kelangan or any other proof cguro related to that. Wala pa ako sss id, pero meron ako nung application stub tska e4. 2 years daw bago makuha sss id eg, kase unified id na raw sya with philhealth etc..

pwede nmn yata hindi mag declare ng iba pang national identity doc... mostly passport at birth certificate lang ang nababasa kong sinubmit ng mga applicants.. so far wala pa akong nbasang nagsubmit ng iba pa..

Passport lang po dun sa part na yun ang ilalagay. Wala din ako SSS card pa, number lang meron. If meron kayo pwede din yun ilagay niyo, scan and attach lang.

hi skyline! yup sakin di rin nagtakeng ielts si hubby. niscan ko ung cert of english as medium of instruction, tor and diploma nya. un ang inattach ko sa online app as proof of his English ability :-)

@skyline minimum of 4.5 lang naman dapat score nya sa ielts hehe bka di na kelangan bg review non hehe si hubby aya magtake kase additional gastos pa eh pde naman humingi sa school nung cert. heheh

@skyline @stolich18 Worried din ako sa hubby ko ( as secondary applicant). Oks na ba yung High School diploma lang? At kung makakahingi ng cert of english as medium of instruction, would this satisfy the VO (Visa officer) Nasa in demand list pa naman current job ng hubby ko..

As per DIAC: Evidence to attach to your application (Kahit isa lang pala sa mga ito ay OK na)
To avoid payment of the second instalment visa application charge, you must provide evidence that any secondary applicants 18 years or over included in the application have at least functional English. You must provide one of the following Evidence required:

1. your IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least four and a half (4.5) b
2.evidence that you have a degree, diploma or trade qualification requiring at least two years of full time study or training with all instruction conducted in English
3.diploma qualification with all instruction conducted in English
4.evidence that you have completed one of the following at an educational institution where all instruction was conducted in English:
your primary education and at least three years of secondary education, or
at least five years of secondary education.

@Mikaela:Inaayos ko na yung 176 online ko pero try ko wait until next week WA kasi I,m also waiting dun sa approval HSBC to increase my limit.
@K_mavs:Naku WA ask for proof of funds nagsubmit na din ako pero parang ayaw ko na antayin kasi mas mabilis yung SA sumagot.In 9 days approved na ako.Baka talagang destined ako for SA at ayaw ng WA sakin hehe.Though may mali naman ako kasi 20kaud lang nilagay ko.Expected ko na hingi sila for more.
@ChiffonScarf:Since ayaw hubby ko mag ielts,TOR,diploma at cert. of enligsh as medium instruction kinuha ko both high school and collge.I hope this will suffice=c
