@nathalie06, puwede na po yan...kailangan lang naman ang all 7 or all 8+ pag hindi kayo aabot sa 65 points. Kung makakabuo kayo ng 65 points kahit walang point credit sa IELTS, magpasa na po kayo

@nathalie06 - if you got 7 on IELTS (all band) meron kang 10 pts. ang minimum requirements sa IELTS is 6 (all band) though 0 pts to. so as long na may 65 pts ka na kht ng di sinasama yung IELTS pts pd k n po maglodge ng visa.

but pls take note that kung mag State sponsorship ka, depende sa skills mo and state may minimum requirement dn cla sa IELTS.

Hi guys, ano po ang assurance natin kapag nominated/sponsored na tayo ng state? Does it mean po ba na positive na din tayo sa visa grant? Formality na lang ba ang visa lodging, granting ok na din ang medicals?

Having a state sponsoring you does not assure you of a positive outcome on your visa. It still depends on the criterias or the requirements when a applying for a visa.Depende pa din sa personal circumstances ng each applicant yung success ng visa application mo. Added points na lang yung SS sa application mo.

Pasensya na po kung nasagot na to dati or hindi.. di ko na po kasi mahanap. hehe..
Ano po ba maipapayo nyo, ung mga relatives ko po kasi nasa Sydney kaya hindi ko po alam kung 176 po iaapply ko or 175?

Naisip ko lang po kasi na wala na points ung sponsor ko kasi wala sila designated area saka po mas less paperwork kung 175 instead of 176? Hindi po ba?

based sa requirements ng 176, your sponsor can live from anywhere sydney, nsw..
unless you are talking about regional sponsorship.. this is another type of visa which is 475.. where your sponsors should live in the designated area..

@angness4ever - so if you are applying 176, extra step is ofcourse to apply for sponsorhip, extra paperworks/cost... pero mas madali ma-assign ng Case Officer compared sa 175..

@lock_code2004 Salamat po sa reply. Yung points system po kasi dapat nasa designated area yung relatives mo po. Yun po ung ibig ko sabihin. It is possible to apply for 176 visa even if your relative is not living in a designated area however I won't earn any points from it.

That's why I am thinking of filing 175 instead kahit na meron ako relatives sa Sydney. Any advice po? Thanks!

@angel - oh yes.. walang points ang relative sponsorship for 176... i guess it will only make your application faster (average processing time now is 4weeks)

for 175 naman average processing time is 6 months from the time you lodge your DIAC application...

176 limits your to stay in that particular state..check job availability/opportunities related to your skills.. if mas marami sa ibang state.. then 175 is better....

choosing between the two, you need to consider, your budget, processing time, and are you in a hurry to move to Au...

another question, do you need that points for sponsorship, why not apply for state sponsorship?
kung hindi nmn.. then 175 is okay..

@lock_code2004 Salamat sa mabilis na reply. Naghahabol din po ako mag-apply before July 1. Mag-IELTS exam po ako sa May 26. Kung 8 po ang makukuha ko, abot ko po ung 65 points. Ok lang naman po siguro ung limit ng state kasi po sa mga tita ko naman po talaga ako mag-stay so better po na sa Sydney na talaga ako.

As for budget, pareho lang naman po ng bayad ung 175 and 176. Nagulat naman ako sa 4 weeks processing time. Ok lang po sa akin ung 6 months, mas ok ung 4 weeks syempre. Cguro I will check na lang kung mahirap ba requirements for my relatives. Busy kasi sila and I don't want to bother them anymore para sa application ko. Kung madali lang naman requirements and makukuha nila agad before July 1, mag 176 na lang ako.

OT: Mahirap ba makuha ang band 8 sa IELTS? I use english for reports and communication letters. Nakikipag-usap din naman ako sa mga consultant namin na foreigner. Hindi ko alam kung anong level ng english ang kailangan. Kinakabahan ako eh. haha.

a) if you need the points, try to apply for state sponsorship, may points kana, hindi mo pa naabala ang mga relatives mo.. hehe
b) when i say budget - additional cost din kasi ang state sponsorship, or baga may mga kailangan asikasuhin additional paperworks ang relatives mo..
c) IELTS - if you are not in a review class, i suggest try to practice more.. kailangan confident ka sa speaking and writing.. sa listening and reading nmn maraming tips dyan.. there is another thread for IELTS.. please check..

Hindi po mapapabilis ang processing ng visa sa 176 relative sponsored. Pareho lang po sila ng priority level ng 175. Priority 4 din po siya. Yun 176 state sponsored po yun within 4 weeks of lodgement date ang magkaka-CO. And bumagal din yun pag-process nila ngayon ng 176 family sponsored, kasi napuno na ata yun limited slots. I suggest go for 175 route. Meron din ako Aus citizen relatives pero I took the 175 instead, kasi gaya ng sinabi mo hassle lang din sa kanila to fill up forms for your application.

@Bryann salamat ng marami din po sa payo. buti po ikaw nakapag-lodge na ng visa. Tinitingnan ko po timeline mo, buti po abot ng 65 kahit na 7 ung writing ska walang SS. Goodluck po sa application mo.
