Hi tanung ko lang po sa mga nakapagpasa Employer Reference:

strict po ba si CO dito sa

"show, below their signature, the name, position and contact telephone number of the person who signed the reference"

    https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/supporting/Pages/skilled/skilled-employment-documents-eoi.aspx

Ang laki ng requirements for show money. Ask ko lang po, yung evidence of financial capacity, ilang months yung kailangan? may idea po ba gaano katagal waiting time ng invites sa Darwin?

@ysabelle Hi, as per NT government's website, they require at least AUD 35k (for a single/individual applicant) as evidence of financial capacity, IF you are not NT resident or NT graduate.

@Shyluck that's perfectly fine. You don't need the points yet during the skills assessment stage anyway.

Ask ko lang po, yung occupation ko is not in the list ng STSOL pero nasa NSW 190 Priority skilled occupation list 2017-18. Kaya medyo naguluhan ako but able to submit eoi for 190 (NSW). Yung state list is ba nag iiba iba from STSOL?

@JLF MLTSSL and STSOL are the main lists. All occupations on the state/government territory lists are based on these lists not the other way around

@RheaMARN1171933 thanks sa reply. Tama po ba ang pagkakaintindi ko na sa STSOL is the lists for 190 applicants? Then does it mean po ba na I am not eligible to submit my application kung wala dun yung occupation ko? Kahit andun siya sa NSW SOL?

@JLF occupations for all states/territory government should be either or both on MLTSSL and STSOL. Occupations from m MLTSSL and STSOL can be for 190 subclass

    Good day!

Im a Nurse and my soon to be husband is a Civil Engineer. We are confused which pathway ba ang dapat namin itake. Ano bang mas magandang pathway?

    1. RN pathway: Mag Bridging program for 3 months then apply for PR. Siya yung kukunin ko. Or

    2. Engineering Pathway: magapply siya under GSM(Subclass 189) na deretcho PR na siya then ako nalang yung kukunin nya. Pero yung down side is need to wait ng 10-15 months or more para sa application.

Ineed your insights and advices. Ano ba ang mas mabilis or mas maganda sa dalawa? Do you know any couple na Nurse and Engineer na nasa Australia din so we can ask din for their advise. Thank you.

@arielle16 it all depends on points. If your fiancé can get at least 60 points not including your occupation, and if I was your agent, I would recommend for him to be the main applicant. It would be longer and more expensive via your pathway as you would also consider money and time spent for your bridging course. Hope that helps.

@arielle16 the engineering pathway would be cheaper as Maam @RheaMARN1171933 has mentioned however if you intend to work as a nurse you will still be required to be registered with AHPRA, hence, will still need to undergo the bridging program unless you finished your nursing course in one of the countries where Australia has a reciprocal recognition like UK, Ireland or NZ, etc.

If processing accreditation with EA takes as you've mentioned 10-15 months, consider this, if you have the resources for the BP now, be able to get a slot and finish it in the next 10-15 months, by the time your hubby get his accreditation with EA, you will also be registered with AHPRA and be ready to legally work as Registered Nurse in Australia.

The next consideration would be as to who between the two of you has the better score in the points table to be the main applicant, and would have the benefit of additional 5 points from partner skills.

As such, as soon as you do your moving in, both of you could start working right away and easily offset the cost of the BP.

Can I please ask for formats of commitment statement to the NT and how job qualifications that were advertised match my experience and the letter how skills are in line with NT needs. Honestly, I am at a loss right now. I am overwhelmed of the docs that are needed plus the stress financially.

    Thank you.

@cucci @arielle16 AHPRA can be done later though once you've got your visa sorted out as it's not a requirement for migration purposes, only for work purposes.

@cucci Exactly! Thank you for your insights and long explanation. According to the advice of some Engineer and Nurse couple, Engineer pathway(189) is cheaper and less complicated than take BP. I think i just need to give way nalang and he will be the main applicant. Regards.

@ysabelle timeline during EOI is difficult to predict. It's like lottery. The only way to approach this is aim for a higher score in the points test.

Hi po. Ask ko lang po if pwede kong maging dependents yung parents ko and kapatid ko na college student if magapply ako ng 189? Wala pong regular work both parents ko and ako din po nagsusupport sa kanila. Just wondering if valid po itong reason or if me chance na makuha ko sila as my dependents?
    Thanks po
