    @jepoy527 .. agree.. pabago bago yung requirements and you still need to tailor fit your resume.. however, base on my experience..when i apply for a job.. mga 10 - 20% lang ang binabago ko.. so i'm thinking na kung mag improve yung baseline or generic resume ko.. mas lalaki pa rin ang chance ko to land a job...

    i'm not actively looking for job right now.. ok naman ako sa current job ko.. pero may target kasi ako for next year.. [-O<
    @multitasking tama ka dyan. saka kumikita ka na ng limpak-limpak na salapi kaya wala lang epekto ang 350~400AUD.haha! :D

    made me realize there are MoRE job applicants than available jobs. supply is much much greater than demand. i had an interview and i asked curiosly how many are applying for the job. the employer said they received a hundred applns. then 16 ang shortlisted. i was among the shortlisted, so i guess qualified ako sa hinahanap nila. pero unfortunately i didnt get the job. the best (based on their assesment) wins. competing with the rest is tough.

    The fact na shortlisted ka and tinwag ka na for interview means pasok na skills and experience mo, wen attending an interview focus more on soft skills, prep urself for basic interview questions and very important, research about the company and position...

    As for me, naapplyan ko na yata lahat ng IT jobs sa ACT na hindi kailangan ng security clearance (citizens lang ang nacclear). Ganun siya kakonti. :( Pero thanks sa inyo. Naiinspire ako sa mga stories nio. Hindi pwede mwalan ng pagasa. :)

    Baka din may alam kayo or marrefer na agency for IT in ACT? Yung hindi nagrerequire ng security clearance. Karamihan kasi ng available na jobs sa ACT ay government offices at nirerequire nila na citizens lang na may security clearance ang pwedeng magapply. Nakakafrustrate nga e kasi ang daming opening pero di ko ma-applyan kasi PR plang ako.

    @kata, I was told by an ex-colleague na kahit hindi citizen minsan kinoconsider pa rin daw ng employers sa ACT basta qualified and may shortage ng candidate applying for that job. Yung sister kasi nya ganung case dati, try mo din mag-apply. Malay mo ma-consider ka pa din.

    July 25, 2013 - Lodged Visa. Acknowledgement received.
    July 29, 2013 - Medicals done (+ Husband and Baby)
    September 18, 2013 - CO Allocated Team 23 GSM Brisbane (Additional docs requested: SG PCC, Form 80, Evidence of Overseas Experience (payslips, taxation docs, etc), Evidence of English Ability for Husband)
    October 10, 2013 - CO informed us that the evidence of english ability of my Husband is not sufficient. Asked us to pay for EEC, I said.. Hey, no way let him take the IELTS instead. :D
