Hi guys!

Just noticed, based on what I've read, majority after 6mos bago kinontact ng CO for additional requirements.

Here are my details and timeline:

Application filed: Dec. 2017 -attached docs
Status: INITIAL ASSESSMENT
place submitted: Offshore - PH
Sponsor: Australian Citizen (Pinoy turned Oz citizen)
Place of marriage: Hong Kong - Sept 2017
No dependents. No previous marriages.


DECEMBER 2017 -application filed
Januany 2018 - attached medical result
JULY 9 2018 - received email from CO requesting for:
1. AFP/police check - sponsor ko
2. completed Form 40SP signed by sponsor ko
3. NBI ko

Questions:
1. After masubmit mga additional docs, and let's say OK naman lahat ng docs, FINAL assessment na ba next status? Visa grant na ba kasunod?

2. May similar situation ba dito na sa overseas kinasal??
If yes, hiningan ba kayo ng "Report Of Marriage" from PSA? Hindi kasi pa kasi namin narereport marriage namin sa PSA, bale Marriage certificate issued by HK lang hawak namin.
But anyway, hindi naman hiningi ng CO. Yung 3 docs lang hiningi. Nag-woworry lang ako baka hingin next time, tapos mapatagal ang process.

3. Ano next step after visa grant? May Interview pa ba sa embassy or pwede ka na lumipad to AU anytime after the visa grant?

@mrs.A naprovde muna nba lahat hiningi ng co mo ? if yes,.. then click the confirmation button . then you're status will become further assessment . yes we just need to wait untill our status will become finalised. or grant . if walang interview it will be good . grant agad .. email lang sila. next step, get cfo certificate and cfo sticker affixed to your passport when u depart to australia. sa visa grant may limitations or date hanggang kelan ka lang pwede makapasok sa australia

@mrs.A regarding cfo pala sis .. i think hindi ka allowed kumuha ng cfo kapag wala kang psa marriage certificate. .

@mrs.A hindi ka makakalipad sa australia kung wala kang cfo . haharangan ka sa manila airport immigration

@pauline Thanks sis! Yon nga iniisip ko sa CFO, alam ko record of marriage from PSA lang yung tinatanggap nila hindi marriage cert issued by foreign country.
Tsk. Tsk.
Pero as long as hindi naman required yun for visa grant, makakahinga na ako ng maluwag.
Buti naman.
Yung CFO requirements nalang poproblemahin.

@pauline Hindi pa kami nagsusubmit ng additional reqs. Kukuha palang ako NBI, pero civil status ko Single parin. Kasi nga wala pa kami record of marriage from PSA.
Ok lang kaya yon kahit single pa civ status ko sa NBI?

Nag-try ako magrenew ng passport - change civil status to married, hinahanapan ako marriage cert from PSA, ayaw tanggagpin yung original issued by HK. Haist... Sakit sa ulo din pala. hehe

@mrs.A ahh passport mo single pa rin pwede ka kumuha ng cfo siguro kahit single surname pa gamit mo sa passport mo.. oo ok naman yun nbi mo in single status . marami nga sa onshore naglodge ng partner visa single status pa documents nila

The agony of waiting nalang talaga problem natin lahat. Hope to hear from them ASAP noh especially may new process na for visa applciation this July 2018.

Seriously 21-26months processing time???

@giginiclaire yep.. pero parang hindi tayo kasali dyann for those 2018 lodging applications lang ata yan. i bet within this year we will be granted from those who lodged last year kasi naman diba next year eligible na tayo to apply for PR ..pano na yan kung this yr hindi pa tayo ma grant ng temporary.. eh 24 months ang eligible for PR application. Don't tell me next yr pa din tayo ma grant ng temporary hahaha pano na tayo makakapag gather ng additional documents for PR kung wala tayo sa australia to be with our partners. Diba need that as a proof that we live together with our partners in australia as husband and wife.. just relax lang sis. Let's pray na lapit na tayo ma grant..

@pauline Hindi tayo kasali dyan sis update yan nitong July pasok pa tayo sa 12 months.yong mga nag apply ng july 2018 dyan yan ang simula haba ng processing.

Question ulit,
Yung inattach nyo na passport copy, scanned copy din ba and notarized or photo lang (like taken from mobile)?

mrs.A, mas maganda po siguro ipasa nyo na sa PSA yung marriage cert nyo kase po hihingan din kayo additional requirements na directly galing sa PSA eh.. para po pag hiningan kayo dere derecho na.. makakapgrequest po kayo na nakalagay don eh married na kayo if ever irrquest nila. pero alam ko irerequest talaga nila yun eh

kasama po ba tayo na matagal makakapgpasa ng PR?.. diba po bago na requirements nila? april2017 po ako naglodge andito na po ako oz, 2019 po ba makkapag apply ako PR? or iba na po?

ako lang po ata temporary hahaha lahat sila pr na? pero ano daw po ba yung bagong rules?

opo sabi nga nila 2019 pede na tayo mag apply, kaya lang diko sure sa sinasabi nilang bagong rules about dun eh.

With regards to the AFP docs pala,
Ito kasi instructions sakin:

"Your sponsor needs to obtain an AFP National Police Check. An application form is available from the AFP website.
Your sponsor will need to send their completed application form to the AFP at the address on the form."

Yan lang sabi. Pag nasend na ba ni hubby yung application form sa AFP, ok na yon? Sila na bahala magcheck ng result w/ the AFP?

Hindi nya naman sinabi na pag na-send yung form, wait nyo yung AFP result or certificate then send it to us.

@mrs.A after nyo ma send by post ang AFP application form and send to the address. magwait na lang kau ng 15 working days . after that na mareceive nyo ,scan back to back at attach sa immiaccount.. when u naglodge?

Samin di na back to back. Mahalaga naman ata dun yung ref number or serial no. Para pag vinalidate nila, sure na legit.

@pauline oh alright. 15 working days pa? Nako hindi kami aabot sa 28 day allowance. Grabe naman kasi, july 9 nanghingi ng docs. So kung 15working days,
July 30 pa dadating kahit naipasa namin yung afp form nung july 10. Eh August 6 yung deadline namin (28th day). So bale 6 days lang binigay na leeway if ever may abirya???
After 6 months paghintayin, 28days lang binigay na araw to submit knowing na isa don sa hiningi nila eh 22 days pala bago makuha?! Kaloka.

Police check kasi sinubmit ni hubby. Hindi daw valid yon. Tapos nung nareceive namin email from CO, we're on vacation, out of the country. 3days ago lang sya nakabalik sa AU.

Meron sinabi don sa email na if ever hindi maisubmit lahat in 28 days, pwede sila tawagan sa dfa. May nakagawa na ba non dito? Tried talking to your CO by phone?

@pauline Oo nag tourist ako sa Oz, but it was long time ago pasok sa last 10 years. Bago ko na kilala si hubby.

@giginiclaire Hi there. Nag tourist ako doon matagal na rin. nag maximised ako ng 3 months each time. But that was before makilala ko si hubby.
