    @lauritoedward 12 months.
    @melanie_anne how much interest?
    Eto lahat babayaran.

    Interest Rate 1.68%
    Establishment fee 20%
    Account keeping fee 4%
    Establishment fee 20%?

So meaning $2000 loan - you need to pay $400 as establishment fee?

    Looks heavy...

Bale i-compute na un for 12 months eh.

    wow, tinapos ko 15pages.

    Summary:

Magbaon ng food and water everywhere, kahit sa work
in general, mas mura sa coles supermarket kesa sa woolworths.
Switch your water heater to night rate if possible. Shop at Aldi's. Try to get a place near your workplace so you can save on petrol.
Mybus-1, mybus-2 and mybus- 3. Yan ang alam ko sa travel ten.
    4. Ung mga brochures sa woolies, coles o aldi, kunin mo. baka may makita kang kelangan mo dun. Relatively mura ung mga nandun.
Things like laundry detergent, shampoo, toothpaste, rice, mga bagay na for sure you will need in the coming weeks.
Kahit kamote or kangkong lang if you have space.
    Support the local butcher
Hanap ng fish monger / shop - e.g. Ang salmon sa coles ay $25-$30/kg, sa shop $16-$20/kg. if may space sa freezer, isang buo ang bilhin then hiwa-hiwalay pagpack mo para defrost kada meal.
    Mag-aral magluto
    Magbaon
Mag-aral magfishing, may hobby ka na, may libreng ulam pa. super dami tilapia kasi d kinakain ng mga aussie or depende sa area, mga local fishes like bream ang mahuli
Some tips to save on electricity - super mahal na kuryente!
    1. Shower time limit to 5 mins maximum
    2. Washing machine dapat na ka set to cold wash lang - turn off the hotwater
    3. Buy/wear clothes that don't need ironing - save time and electricity
    4. when using the kettle - boil only the amount of water you require. Before when we need hotwater most of the time (dahil sa formula ng anak ko) nilagay namin sa thermos.
    5. Dry clothes in the line. Use only the clothes dryer if kailangan na kailangan.
    6. Use oil heater - fan heater uses a lot of energy.
My sister is saving up for solar panels?they cost about 700- 1k each and she needs about 8-10 for a 4 bedroom house pero it will save money plus thr govt gives u money for extra energy produced.
Isa pang tip eh mag intay kayo ng financial year-end or after Xmas maraming sale.
Tapos kung gusto nyong magpasyal sa Sydney eh pag linggo merong Sunday Family Funday ticket sa Cityrail $2.50 each lang (basta me kasama kayong bata). Magagamit nyo sa train, ferry, bus. Two weeks ago nga eh nag Sydney ferry cruise kami at nagpaikot ikot sa city kasama turista kong bisita for the total sum of $7.50 hehehe.
Cut your own hair at home; ask your wife/partner to learn hair cutting using clippers. Laking tipid hehe
    1. In my experience, supermarkets restock on Fridays, so every Thursday is kind of like a clearance sale. YMMV. I heard some stores clear on Mondays.
    2. Don't assume that things are cheaper at the market and in neigbourhood shops. Research if you have time.
    3. Lentil As Anything restaurants in VIC are by donation only. You pay what you feel like paying. I'm a huge supporter because it's organic vegan and mainly hires refugees.
    4. OP SHOPS!!! "Op" stands for "opportunity". It's mainly secondhand stuff, but the quality is usually very good. Chalk it up to fickle or fast-growing locals + heaps of international students coming and going + wasteful fashion industry (or retail industry in general). Plus, you get an extra discount if you donate your own old/unwanted stuff.
if you have multiple gadgets from PH or Asia, suggestion po to bring a multi-port extension para you only need one universal adapter and can charge all your gadgets at a time, medyo pricey din kasi cheapest we found was $10 each for a universal power adapter.
    bake bread
credit card pero Coles Mastercard lang and yung free pa.
    * Don't pay monthly fees on bank accounts
    - most banks waive their monthly fees if you deposit 1k to 2k monthly.
    - It doesn't say you are not allowed to spend the money that you deposit. You can spend the money next day.
    - don't worry if you don't have monthly income to deposit or does not have 1k-2k to deposit. You can recycle your 2k.Deposit 2k for the month and withdraw the money before the end of the month and use it as a depositfor next month and repeat.
    Suggestion:
    NAB (transaction) -> Ubank (savings)
    Kids savings: Banwest)
    Credit card: Coles
Anyway, I think this was not mentioned previously but for your electricity and gas supply, try to negotiate for a better rate. I gave my existing energy provider a call one day and tell them that I would be transferring to another provider as they would be giving 20% discount so ayun they offered me a 30% discount on my bill (basta pay on time) - no problem with me as I always pay on time naman >> Sayang lang that it took me a year to discover this.
Kung meron ka weekly or monthly or wuarterly, allowed lang sya to travel free on sunday within the boundary of your ticket.
If you need to ravel outside the boundary of your wuarterly/monthly ticket, use Opal card on Sundays para $2.50
Yung home printers usually di ganun kamahal. Pero the printer ink eh hindi

    sana may makapag-add pa!

Coles and Woolies online catalogue are uploaded every monday for the upcoming wednesday to tuesday covered period.so nililista na namin ang mga bibilhin namin lalo na yung half price bago punta dun usually on a wednesday para malaking chance marami pa stock.

May 20% off pala ang ebay au ngaun. It's not sitewide pero maraming participating store just check the front page ad.

Ang downside eh, they jacked up their prices prior to the sale... so tipid na rin as long as you don't know the price history??!? :)

    - we wash our dishes after 10pm to take advantage of electricity off peak rates.
    - haircut for men. near our place, meron promo. $15 lang only on Wednesdays. i guess check for those kind of places and promos. if you have the option, don't have a haircut during weekends.
    - use comparison sites for utility and insurance providers to get the best rates.

$35.70 peak, $17.13 off-peak. so that's about half the price. we save for sure, pero how much we actually save by doing our dishes after 10pm, i'm not sure. =) anyway somebody is awake by 10pm pa naman kaya practice na namin ang pag-on ng dishwasher by 10pm.

ito other sample ng off peak rates from click energy naman > https://www.clickenergy.com.au/energy-price-fact-sheets/united/click-connect/26/
