    Hello guys!
i was just informed by the employer that the Employer Nomination has been approved. july 28 pinasa yung application ko btw.

Normally ba if approved na yung nomination, ilang days or weeks bago mafinalize yung visa?

    Thanks sa mga makakasagot.

Hello everyone! Just posting our situation po and hoping someone can answer or give an advice.

My partner is currently processing his 482 TSS (Short term) Visa and we will be married in 2 weeks na.
Our plan is to be in Australia, with me being his dependent / 482 subsequent entry visa. Kaso his agency advised that he will be under 6 months probation (as part of the agency rule/condition) and then after, tska niya lang ako pwede iapply as dependent.

So ayun nga, we will be married pero baka wala pang 6 months or before this year ends paalis na siya.
Here are two scenarios that I'm looking at:

    1. WAIT FOR 6-MOS AND APPLY FOR 482 SUBSEQUENT ENTRANT VISA - Do you think it's wise that we wait for 6 months and then apply me as his dependent? And would the case officer make it hard for us knowing na we're less than a year married by that time? Like would he/she even question the genuineness of our marriage kung kakakasal lang namin tapos bigla siya umalis? Overthinker lang hehe. Marami kasi rin ako nababasa na medyo matagal approval for dependent visas :(

    2. APPLY FOR A STUDENT VISA AND THEN CHANGE IT TO 482 SUBSEQUENT ENTRANT VISA - Naisip ko lang 'to, although might seem more complicated, parang gusto ko na rin kasi sumabay kay hubby sa pag alis. So, is it possible na mag enter ako sa Australia as a student and then after my studies is iapply nya na ako as 482 visa dependent - at least by that time onshore application na rin? Or, is it even possible to jump from Student Visa 500 to TSS 482 at all?

Hope someone can help us po. Hehe, thank you and god bless!

Have you consulted a migration agent about your case? I don't know much about TSS visas so I can't really comment, but as far as I know, dependent visas aren't strictly limited to married people. If you have a de facto relationship (like you've lived together and have been in an exclusive relationship for at least a year), your partner can include you in his visa application. Check the Home Affairs website relevant to the 482 visa about the details.

The student visa will cost you a lot of money (tuition, visa fee, other costs related to visa application), and it could potentially take a lot of time too. There have been many cases that people applying for student visa have to wait for months just to get their visa approved, so hindi rin guarantee na mas mabilis ka makakarating dito pag nagstudent visa.

So meron reference number.

Hi ma'am! Thank you for answering me po.

No po eh, did not ask any help from other migration agent na.

I really appreciate you po for answering me kahit you mentioned na you're not so familiar with Visa 482. <3 But just in case lang po, would you know or ever heard na nag process mag-DIY nalang ng visa for the dependent? yung hindi na dumaan sa agency?

But if there's an agency handling your husband's 482 visa, I would recommend you go with them na rin kasi kabisado nila yung requirements (to be on the safe side). Ang hassle kasi with DIY is kailangan mo aralin/i-research yung mga documentation requirements on your own, and that takes time and effort. Instead of you doing that work, you can focus on gathering your own documents for the dependent visa, and researching about life in Australia (looking at job ads, preparing your resume, cost of living, etc.)

Same tayo.

Yung sa ticket, no we did not buy muna ng ticket. Kasi nag ba-budget kasi kami, so we waited na magka OEC before purchasing a ticket. Pero on the same day, nung Thursday, kuha na kaagad ng ticket to the EARLIEST and CHEAPEST flight available.

Nyahaha .

    Oo.
Bale ilang mos inabot from lodging ung nomination mo?

So meron reference number.

So may instruction na sayo for medical?

Cleared na yung medical. Waiting game na lang talaga ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Hi, we will be moving to Sydney soon and while waiting for the TSS 482, we learned na naka 5 direct hire na yung company. We are worried na pag nalaman ng company na they will need to deal with an agency na, baka maretract yung offer. Sa mga nagbackdoor, paano ang OEC if babalik ng Pinas for vacation? Yung rule na 5 direct hire still applies pa kaya?

they will still check the direct hire limit afaik, much better if pa-PR na rin kayo while you're in AU.

Hello everyone! Meron ba ditong nag-apply ng visa 482 without the help of migration agents/lawyers? First time kasi ni employee magsponsor so di siya aware sa mga ganito. Eh ako gusto ko sana mag-avail ng services ng migration lawyer for me and my employer's protection na din for legalities etc.
