Sa Pinas naman since puro outsourcing yung mga jobs, mostly nasa US/Canada/Europe yung clients. Pag nagkataon, daily work sa umaga, puro meeting sa gabi... ganyan buhay ko sa Pinas before...

I am torn between Australia and Canada. Slightly gusto ko lang Canada, i really dont know why. Gusto ko lang talaga siguro sa kabilang parte ng mundo. Para kasi syang America Jr. malapit pa sa US, Latin America, Caribbean, etc. Ok din Sports, NBA, Wrestling, etc. Maganda rin talaga yung lugar and benefits.

In the end, baka mapilitan kang umuwi.

mas mataas na po Currency ng Australia sa Canada ngaun dba? ang pagkakaalam ko lang ha hehe.

Like sa Australia, kailangan din ng local experience kapag sa IT industry. So patas lang :D

Mas maganda takbo ng currency ng Canada kasi mas stable siya...it just so happens mas mataas ang Aussie ngayon kasi mas maraming exposure siya (China, commodity etc)

True, AU's big trading partner is China so a slowdown in Chinese commodity demand could hurt Australia big time. On the other hand, Canada's over-dependence upon continued US consumption poses some risk to Canada’s economy as well. Top trading partner ng US with over 80% of its exports ang Canada... so, patas lang :D

Australia - no show money for PR Visa subclass 189 for example hehehhe

    Sa Canada ata meron? :)

Although experts say na mas stable nga economy sa Canada kase they have Oil and Gas to export. Yung Australia raw kase nagrrely more on the mining industries (so copper, iron etc...)

But meron ngayon mga Oil exploration sa Western Australia (Gorgon for example...)

Mas mababa parang 550+ something lang per person. Pero need show money for FSW, For family of 3, i need to show around 750k pesos before i can submit my documents for PR.

Processing time can take from 1.5 years to 7 years depende sa kung anong2 factors. Canada govt even returned all those applications before 2008 yata. pero pabibilisin daw process ngaun.

Fastest way is to get employer sponsorship no need show money and you can apply PR after a year, citizenship after 3 years PR. yan ang alam ko

@ozzie this was brought up before pero ito naaalala ko...

    Economy: Canada
    Governance: Canada
    Currency: Canada
    Healthcare: Tie
    Climate: Australia
    Salary: Australia
    Language Barrier: Favourable to Australia
Proximity to U.S.: Canada (duh hehe)
Proximity to PH: Australia (duh hehe:P)
You can check on the latest comparative figures in terms of GDP, Terms of Trade, Unemployment Rate, and GDP growth between Australia and Canada, sali na din pati Norway at Chile here:

    http://www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2012/12/focus-3

As for Currency, mas mataas ang exchange rate ng Australia compared to Canada as of this writing. I do not have the comparative analysis between the governance of both countries. Sa climate, definitely a lot better ang Australia. For Proximity to PH, you would appreciate that if na sa abroad ka na.

We're touching on China so let's be clear on this...kung bumagsak ang China, damay tayong lahat..hindi lang Australia hehe...That's how big China is contributing to the world's economy hehe. A finance institution did a study and it says, if China dips into oblivion, it's actually Taiwan and South Korea who will be greatly affected. Surprisingly, Australia has other key trading partners :)

Dun sa celebrity, huwag natin kalimutan si Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Russel Crowe (NZ), Eric Bana, Geoffrey Rush at Cate Blanchett :D
