@jedd_allen hello! For me, tama si @twenty1. RSEA mostly kinukuha siya kapag di ka confident na valid sa nominated occupation mo yung experience mo. So you need a proof from EA na counted siya sa years of experience mo, hence RSEA. Kung confident ka naman, kahit wala na. Maveverify naman siya sa visa through your CV, so kelangan yung CV mo proves your work talaga.

Hi All,

I got my result last November 2017 and na stop ako sa pag process from December 2017 to present due to some reasons. Pero now po, back on track na at sana tuloy tuloy na po ito. Ask ko lang po sana if may validity ba ng reseult ng EA? Salamat po sa lahat!

@nashmacoy101 EA itself yata wala, pero sa visa, kailangan not more than 3 years. Saka maganda rin siguro kung updated lalo kung may changes sa job mo, IMO.

@jazmyne18 updated meaning mag papa assess po ba uli ako? wala naman po change ng job pero I have different company na with same duties from previous employer.

Hi @nashmacoy101 kung may bagong employer ka ngayon and you want to claim that work experience to get points (15 pts), I reckon kelangan mong magpa-assess ulit kung may positive outcome ka na before kay EA. For me, kung less than a year ka pa lang naman sa company, I would suggest wag ka na magpa-asses ng bago kung above 8 years of more na work experience mo.

This is taken from MSA Booklet:

"Please note that from the perspective of Engineers Australia, the assessment letter has no expiry date. However, we are aware that the Department of Immigration and Border Protection validity policy may vary from this.
As such, if the Department of Immigration and Border Protection requests an updated letter, please contact Engineers Australia for instructions."

HI! Try ko lang magtanong dito. naka-visa 189 kami, ako ang main applicant. gusto ko sana pag-aralin asawa ko ng engineering pagdating ng au. kapag ba PR ka na makakalibre na sa tuition sa kung saan mang university applicable?

@mafimushkila123 pag PR elegible k sa mga free course sa TAFE, depende sa uni at depende sa state for the availability and kunginopen ng state n yun ang free TAFE courses.

@maryowni09 parang mga online or short courses po ba yung tafe? so kung bachelor's degree talaga, hindi pa rin kami pwede mag-avail ng subsidy?

@gandara ..Hi po maam..question lang po related sa reference letter..Does it required ba na yun reference letter signed by previous boss is on the letter head of the previous company and with company stamp? Or is it just simple letter printed in band paper with name and contact number of signatory?

@gandara Hi maam..question po ulit..which is better to take po between IELTS or PTE-A, as per my understanding in some of the post here I've noticed that in PTE-A you have big chance to get superior result.

@jonathan7082 there is a higher chance to get superior result in PTE-A. Took mine in Dubai last March 3.

@zirko Sir good day..question lang po regarding sa reference letter. Enough na po ba yun letter to be printed in a band paper kahit hindi na ba sa letter head ng dati mong company? Can you share please sample of your reference letter..Thanks and hoping for your response.

hi guys.. pa help naman. need ko tulong, regarding kung saan pwede pagawa cdr. may na draft na ako hindi ko lang matapos tapos kasi sobrang busy ng work..

At Page 28:

1. PRIMARY DOCUMENTS
Reference letter on official company letterhead to:
 Indicate 5 main duties undertaken, job title or
position;
 Indicate the exact period of employment
(commencement and completion dates);
 Be endorsed and dated by the manager/direct
supervisor/HR Section (with official telephone & email
address);
 Indicate full or part-time with number of work hours;
 Pay rate;
 Include the company’s stamp if applicable

If without letterhead, then it is not a reference letter as above. Your next option is a statutory declaration by your manager or senior colleague.

IMHO, yes - but request a new one to be on the safer side.

@JHONIEL Use the Oct Reference Letter but on the side prepare a statutory declaration in anticipation of contact by the EA assessor. If di ka ma-contact, well and good.

Statutory declaration by your manager or senior colleague to vouch for your skills and experience. I can't guide you further since I don't have first-hand experience.

Just backread the discussions and you can find those who actually used statutory declaration.

To All,

Info lang po baka may naka miss out.

Engineers Australia will be upgrading its IT infrastructure at the end of March.

When will this happen?

Engineers Australia’s online portal will be temporarily made unavailable during 22- 25 March. During this time, you will not be able to log in to EA’s Portal to initiate, submit or continue your application.

How will this impact me?

If you intend to initiate a new application, we recommend that you postpone initiating your application until 1 April, at which time all maintenance operations will be finalised. However, we are aware that delaying is not always an acceptable option. In this case, please make sure you finish your submission and pay for your application before 22 March.
If you have an unsubmitted (unpaid) application that remains so after 22 March, your application will be cancelled. If you wish to pursue your current unsubmitted application, we recommend that you finish and submit it before this date. Otherwise you will need to lodge the application again once the services are restored.
If you have lodged an application prior to 22 March or have an in-progress application in the system before this date, the assessors will continue to process your application and will communicate with you via email to ask for additional information when required. Once these applications are completed you will receive the outcome as usual.
If you are not under strong time constraints we recommend postponing submitting any new applications until 1 April. This will minimise the impact on your applications.
