Good morning mga kabayan! I badly need help for concrete tips na mapabilis ang CDR ko. Wala kasi proper documentations yong sa dating company & I don't have copies of my presentation materials sa mga projects ko that time so nahirapan talaga ako sa CDR for IE even if may sample CDR na ako.
Help please...

- start putting in the words sa draft mo.. mag type ka lang ng magtype.. madali na i-organize later...
-alalahanin mo mabuti kung anung ginawa mo sa projects mo..
-then pag may thought na ang career episodes.. ska ka na lng magimbento ng numbers kung kailangan..
-but ofcourse provide information/details/numbers na realistic and as close as possible sa nangyari... may not be exact but atleast nandun ang buong story..

follow the STAR format:
Situation - what was the issue (Problem)
Task - what do you want to achieve (Objective)
Action - what did you do (Implementation)
Result - what was the outcume (Objective met? and/or Problem solved?)

- while doing these, always keep in mind na dapat yung mga activities mo ay related dun sa major job description as per ANZSCO... laging ito ang final point of comparison mo, dahil dyan ang basis ng EA assessment sa nominated occupation mo..

Thanks sa inputs mo po. I'll just put here an example so other folks will learn from us also.
example:Cost-savings project in previous company.
Q: Unfortunately, wala na akong detailed data ngayon like the project roadmap with accurate dates, time & motion study data, before & after shopfloor layouts, before & after data comparison/analysis, dollars saved. Any advices how can I proceed sa CDR ko?

I've read also from EA website the ff:
CDR needs to clearly demonstrate the application of engineering knowledge and skills in the
nominated occupation, not the acquisition of knowledge.
It may use material from:
• an engineering task undertaken as part of your educational program;
• a project you are currently working on;

Q on 1st bullet: Is thesis recommended to use? In my own assessment now, sad to say I’m not satisfied with my thesis. Although dati, this thesis of mine is good enough for me & the university faculty, but I can say now based sa actual industry experiences ko, hindi yon impactful thesis. Does the quality of my thesis affect EA’s decision sa IE qualification ko if ito ang gamitin ko sa CDR?

Q on 2nd bullet: How to fully showcase my engineering application in this case? Does this mean wala pang nakitang actual benefits sa company because the project is still on-going? Definitely, the Result is not vivid yet because the project is still in the Task~Action phases.

Anybody po na nakasubmit ng CDR using undergrad thesis? or CDR using an on-going project sa current job nyo?

Fedex po. Choose the fastest kung meron availble service from your area. Sa akin dapat 2 working days dapat. But I chose the service to deliver on office hours only so naging 5 days dahil sa weekend.

I posted on this thread because I'm not sure whether there is an existing thread for architect members, and since this is the first thread for technical professions I found, gusto ko po sana malaman kung ok ba ang work life nyo jan sa Australia as Engineers? Q: So until the end of the EA application, hindi nila need ang hardcopies?
A: If EA application is online now, then you dont need the hardcopies..(during my time kasi we send harcopies CTCd docs)

Tanong lang po:

1.) Nagbackread ako dito sa Forum and may nagsabi na pwede na magsubmit ng application/documents sa EA "Online".... Is this correct? Nabasa ko kasi sa FAQs sa website ng EA:

1. baka mali or lumang information ang mabasa mo... of course, kung anung sinasabi sa EA website, yun ang mas updated.. so double check palagi sa website nila..

Good day mga boss tsip amo!

Meron po bang mga Structural Engineers dito na nakapag pa-assess na sa EA? May naka-experience ba na mas mabilis pa sa 19 weeks ang result ng EA assessment?

@jepoy527 idol so far halos lahat ata nasa 19weeks po yung inaabot. Mga kasabay ko po nuon kung di ako nagkakamali is may electrical engineer and a civil engineer and halos 19weeks po inabot namin lahat. Pwede niyo naman po check sa msastatus kung ano na ang turnaround time niya. Alam ko naghire pa sila ng additional staff to accommodate the surge of assessments.

@jepoy527 Idol di pa kasama yun. Yung sa akin nuon plus mga 10days pa from dun sa date na pinadala nila. Medyo nakakapraning yung time na yun. Hehe!
