knew a guy (friend) lost his job after 3 months of arrival in AU, he stayed for as long as he can using bridging visa (BV), renew it before it expires, do odd jobs while looking for his preferred job on a BV. He fought his way and eventually won his battle and is now in a stable situation (citizen).
Don't give up easily, you're in AU, if there are ways for you to stay, do stay. Challenges are here and everywhere.
