    Hi @mamertz . Just to share insight. If you renew your passport now, you would need to formally update the information you provided at the time of lodging of visa application. There is a form to be filled out, signed and returned to IMMI. Likewise, a new passport would make your Form 80 outdated.

    My passport has less than a year validity also. I already decided just to wait for the grant hence avoiding further complexities to the process. HTH. :)

    @mamertz I agree with @zirko - medyo complicated nga kasi it affects your form 80.

    pero ang isang maipapayo ko - just to be ready ano, renew your passport now - para if all else fails and matagalan ang processing ng grant mo and abutan ng less than 6mos validity ang passport mo (sakali lang ha) - maganda na yung may nakaready ka na. diko lang din alam if pede bang wag mo muna i collect sa embassy para di muna ma invalidate ang passport na existing. i timing mo nalang maigi siguro. kasi if ma CO contact ka, meron ka lang 28 days to comply. di abot 28 days to complete the passport renewal process lalo na pag abroad.

    yung sa anak ko no choice ako kasi June mag eexpire yung kanya and Dec kami nag lodge, kaya January nag update na ako ng bagong passport. Wala naman form 80 sa anak ko so keri lang.

    suggestion ko lang yan ha, ultimately ikaw pa din makakaalam ng nais mong diskarte :)

    Btw, curious lang po ako, paano po namimili ng invitation sa visa 190. Same din ba sya ng basis for 189 na based on points and Eoi date? And, Mas mabilis po ba ang processing sa 190 compared to 189?

    @Butterfly8i8 hello! Wala po ako idea ng exact rules na finafollow nila sa 190. Pero based sa nabasa at experience ko, occupation, superior language, points scores lalo sa NSW. Nung di pa ako naka superior tagal ko din nag antay ng invitation. After superior sa language, next day may ITA na ako.Sa ibang states ata more on occupation ang basehan nila kasi kahit 60+5 ss points nainvite nila.

    According pa din po sa global processing time, nakalagay ngayon is 5-7 mos sa 189. Diko alam sa 190 baka same din. Pero dito sa thread ang trend is 3-4 mos direxct grant na halos. Chekc mo sa thread ng October -December kasi madami na na grant sa kanila.. Anu na status ng application mo?

    Hi po. New lang po sa thread. Nakikita ko po kasi naglolodge sila ng 189 and 190. So dalawa po ba yung pagpapasahan ng eoi? Or si assesing body po mismo magsasabi if sa 189 ka (kapag nagapply ka for 190) salamat po sa sasagot!

    Hi @gfviernes visa 189 and 190 are both PR Visas. However, for 190 you will have to stay in the state of your preference for 2 years and you will have an additional 5 points since you are nominated by the state. For 189, you can live and work anywhere. This is more ideal if you want flexibility pero wala syang additional points. Your eligibility to apply for these visas also depends on your nominated occupation. Minsan sa isa lang pwede, minsan sa pareho. If eligible sa pareho, some send EOIs for both visas to increase their chances of getting invited but it’s not required naman.At the end of the day it is still up to your preference and which visa ang okay for you. Pero both naman PR visa na, if multiple EOIs ang plan mo, create it separately or use different accounts para di ma freeze yung isang EOI mo in case na invite ka na sa isa.

    @gfviernes You can submit po as many EOIs as you want as per DHA website. Kayo mag decide kung ano gusto niyo and saan mas mataas chance na ma-invite and meron “career opportunity” for nominated occupation.

    Suggest ko po kung mag submit kayo EOI, i hiwa-hiwalay niyo po and choose the preferred state (do not put any).

    E.g.
    1 EOI = 189
    1 EOI = 190 (Vic)
    1 EOI = 190 (NSW)

    Sabi nga, the more entries you send the more chances of winning. All the best po!

    @gfviernes For visa 189 pwede mong icheck yung ISCAH para may idea ka kung kailan ka maiinvite based on your points.

    Para naman sa state sponsored visa, kailangan mo icheck kung aling states ang nagssponsor ng occupation mo and then gumawa ka ng EOI per state. Kailangan mo rin icheck kung ano yung nomination process nung state. Iba-iba kasi yan per state. Good luck!

    @chabawamba dun mo makikita ung details kung ano skills, country, kelan naglodge,naCO, nagrant etc para maging basis lang din on our part kung gaano ba katagal ang processing ng visa na inapply natin.. sabi nga ni @mamertz voluntary na iniinput mga details, meaning ung may gusto lang ibig sbihin hindi 100% na un lang mga nagapply and nagrant at least may actual basis ka lang partly from other applicants..

    @TSM_Oz_Dream hmmm.. yes the beat decision is to have a superior language score. Based sa experience ko, tagal ko nag antay ng ITA 70 points lang din ako sa NSW. Until nagreview din ako for a superior PTE. Nagka ITA the next day.

    Anytime po ang 190 nagiinvite. Pero malay mo in need ang occupation mo at mainvite din kgad. Check mo Iscah sa trend ng points at invites.. God bless.

    @lecia, Un nga po e, malaking bagay talaga pag naka superior sa english language test. Wow and bilis sa 75, I suppose because in demand din ung profession m kaya meron agad ITA. In my case nasa list din cya ng NSW 190 Priority skilled occupation list - 2018-19. Kaya I will try and try again to obtain superior.

    I've also sent inquiry to Iscah Team and they told me that they do not have enough data to estimate waiting times for 190 state sponsorship at the moment and they just ung immi tracker website. So un iniput ko lang information ko.

    Pwede po ba humingi ng tips/templates or do's and don't sa exam. Currently score are as follows R-68, W-70, S-90, L-70. Salamat..
