Hi everyone!
I am a 24 year-old Management graduate with 3 years work experience. Recent trabaho ko ay sa insurance company - underwriting - kung saan I stayed for 16 months lang.
I tried my luck in Singapore before but came back here in Ph after 3 wks na bigo.
Kahit mejo nafrustrate ako, I am still holding on to my dream of working abroad, earning a high income to help my family here in Ph.
Meron akong relative sa Melbourne - 2 Filipino-Australian cousins and an aunt. I am also friends with my cousin's husband who works as a director at a real estate company sa au. But i am hesitant to ask for his help kasi hindi pa siya ganun kaclose sa min. Sabi ng pinsan ko, if pumunta ako sa Australia, pwede daw na sa kanila ako titira for 3 months while trying to find a job (sagot lahat, food and accommodation) kaya I am more encouraged to try my luck in Australia instead sa Singapore.
My agency or companies ba kayo na alam?
Do I need to take IELTS?
Pano po yung study and work na pathway, effective kaya yun or practical?
I am having difficulties accessing threads na essential sa mga katanungan ko sa dami na ng nakapost dito kaya please forgive me if my ganitong thread na pala dito.
Thank you everyone!

You can also get more details directly from the government's immigration website https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/temporary-skill-shortage-482

You can do the study pathway however work hours are limited to 20hrs a week. If your end goal is to become a PR then choose a course that has a PR pathway and you have to see din if you can meet the requirements for the said occupation like work experience, etc. All the best and I hope you can find a way to help your family.

What should I do para mahire whilst here in PH? If magtake ako ng IELTS, magiimprove kaya chances of winning ko?
Thanks in advance and hope to receive your valuable feedbacks.
