Kaka disappoint. Mukang naghohold sila ng invites until Nov(new pointing system). Hopefully im wrong. :(

Yeah looks like it. Sabi sa expatforum, ang nag uupdate ng mga nainvite ay 85 pointers or more. Di sila nakapag report over the weekend kasi some of them ay nag migration agent so outside business hours. Sana nga magkaron ng explanation dito. Maraming nag hihintay sa sagot or clarification.

Therefore, di na masyadong accurate ang Iscah predictions. Nakakalungkot.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Yes true, case officers job might not be the easiest with the workload they have but I am pretty sure they are compensated and paid fairly and well and are fortunate enough not to be in a position where their future or their family’s future will be at the tip of someone’s finger, or in this case, at the mercy of Australia’s very dynamic migration rules. If you follow some threads in expatforum regarding the latest invitation trend, you can see how heartbreaking it is for some people who spend years of trying so hard to obtain points only to endlessly chase after a moving target while they, with their whole family pursue this Au dream and now ending up in total hopelessness. Future is bleak given the reduction of intakes and points required now are really high. Lucky are those who have the resources to do the necessary steps to be able to reach the points which is almost impossible for offshore applicants.
I can’t help but cringe because they are really the real kawawa..,

I totally respect if you want to see the situation this way but there could be a valid reason why DHA invited less people this round. Hindi lang ito power tripping. They've bitten off more than what they can chew.

    - This is truly heartbreaking because we all can very well relate sa lahat ng hirap at pagpupursige na inabot naten for this AU dream. I cannot comment any further bilang I know naman na alam nyo na na this entire migration thing is nothing but a stiff competition and that we always say na bilisan ang diskarte para maunahan natin ang ever changing migration rules ng AU.

Yung padating na changes in points sa Nov, be safe lang and try to analyze din ang speculations ng iba, na even though may ways to up your points, ang mangyayari naman dyan is tataas naman ang overall points - so parang ganun lang din. So in my own opinion, if you have other means to pursue today, other visa to apply to (190,489) go na.
Now, more than ever, the saying Time is Gold is napaka appropriate.

Goodluck and madaming dasal para sa atin mga kapatid.

Me, got invited last August 1, 2019 for a 489 visa sa NT. I applied for EOI Nov.2018.

Pathway is 489 visa, have to stay for 2 years in one region, then u can apply for 887 w/c is a PR Visa and u can work and study anywhere in Aus.

Puedeng2 na. Cant afford to be choosy. Pahirap na ng phirap makapasok.

*May 2016 -Heard one friend sharing stories about Australia
-Had my research the ff.day about my job opportunity in Australia
-Become aware about PTE, ANZSCO and VETASSESS
    *Sept.2016 - 1st attempt of PTE (Dubai). LRSW = 83/71/76/83
*Dec.2016 - Submitted docs to VETASSESS for Skills Assessment
*Feb.2017 - Positive result from VETASSESS
(Only chance of EOI was in SA which require high points for a 489 visa)
*Mar.2017 - 2nd attempt of PTE (Phil). LRSW = 86/76/65/90 (unsuccessful to get superior)
    *Nov.2017- I turned 40, which means minus 10 pts. =(
    - Started to lose hope and forget my Aus dream for a while
*July 2018 - NT, SA and Tasmania were open
    - I needed to get a superior score from PTE
*Aug. 2018 - 3rd attempt of PTE (Dubai). LRSW = 57/69/84/56 (scores were awful)
(Despite my scores, I am determined and wont stop til i get that superior)
    *Oct.2018 - 4th attempt of PTE (Phil). LRSW = 79/90/83/86 (at last!)
*Nov.2018 - EOI Northern Territory, Tasmania and SA
    *Aug.1, 2019 - Northern Territory ITA
*Aug.7, 2019 - Official NT Skillselect ITA (Hired MA for visa lodging)

    how about this news: https://www.sbs.com.au/news/australia-wants-you-recruiters-sent-overseas-to-sign-up-5-000-best-and-brightest

out of the 160,000 planned migration program, 5000 ang ilalagay para sa highly skilled migrants through recruitment from key locations under GTIP program. meaning reduced to 155,000 na lang yung paghahatian ng iba't iba pang applicants.

RDASI - Southern Inland NSW 489 website update

We will cease assessing EOIs at 5pm on Friday 16 August, if you have not received an invitation to full application by this time, you will not receive an invitation in the 489 Visa program.
