Hi All,

I know that the validity of PTE result is 2 years based on the Score Report. But I'm seeing some posts here stating it is 3 years. Can anyone clarify about this?

Also, can the PTE score used during 491 Regional (Provisional) visa application be used still by the time an application is made for a Permanent Residence visa 3 years after? Or there is really a need to retake it since it has expired already?

Hoping to hear your response as well.

@gjjude . Hi.

PTE Academic Score Report is valid for Immigration Purposes in Australia for 3 years, even though on your actual PTE score report you can see it only shows 2 years. I know it is confusing. But it is how it is.

At the request of the Department of Home Affairs, the PTE Academic internal operations team have been working to find a solution to extend the period that test takers can view and assign their scores.

From 29th October 2019 PTE Academic test takers will be able to view and assign their test scores for up to 3 years from their test date.

If a test taker took their test more than 2 years ago and cannot provide their registration ID or Score Report Code for their application, the Department has the capacity to contact PTE Academic's support team to have the result manually verified.

To sum up briefly, for Immigration purposes in Australia, your PTE score report is valid for 3 years. Don’t worry if it only shows on the actual score report only 2 years.

Concerned din po ako dito kasi ang IELTS po ni wifey is mag 3 years na sa july and mag PTE po ako this march. For example makapasa po sa PTE (claiming!! haha), pede pa ba sya gamitin sa EOI to claim 10pts sa partner skills paramakahabol sa ITA before magsi'expiran lahat ng docs nya? August po mag 3 years din ung outcome letter nya. Any insights po mam @RheaMARN1171933. Salamat po sa inyong lahat.

May I ask ilan points kayo currently? Sya main applicant? Always check yung trend ng ITA sa occupation ng main applicant. I don't want to give false hope pero Thats the truth nowadays sa application, pataasan ng points. You may see na ang naiinvite lang is 90 and up points sa 189.Di pa kasali ang mga naunang nag EOI. Nag EOI ka na sa 190?

This happened last year trend, March nag start mag cut off ng up to 80 points lang naiinvite. Malapit na kasi matapos ang fiscal year, so pakonti na ang ibibigay na ITA.

So kung Malapit na maexpire assessment ni wife, Mag EOI na at make the most of the points, sagadin hanggat kaya para sa ITA.

Correction, skills assessment and English test SHOULD be valid at time of invite and points are locked at time of invite so doesn’t matter if either of these documents expire after.

Those invites from 90 and up do not apply to 190 subclass visa as this isn’t subject to points priority.

There should be a date on the IELTS results. I don’t think validity should be difficult to figure out.

Sorry naguguluhan pa kasi ako po. Eto po ung kanya, nagtake po sya ng July 8, 2017. Then sabi sa Note it should be recommemded to re assesed after two years which is technically july 2019. But according to DoHA, not more than 3 years ung exam before ITA. Kung maglodge ba ako gamit ung exam nya nong 2017 at mainvite before July 2020, wala po ba magiging problema? Thank you po sa pag gabay.

@nashmacoy101 Don't complicate things, just remember na 3 yrs yung validity as per DoHA. As long as may invitation kayo before the 3rd year (July 2020 in your case) then it should be ok..

Oo nga eh, last Jan. 7 pa yan. I am not sure bakit di ako nainvite. Maybe may number lang ng invite? Di kaya may kulang sa application ko? Ano pa ba gagawin? nagcreate lang ako EOI sa skillselect tapos status is submitted naman. Do I need to do anything pa?
