    @nfronda I made a thorough analysis on that centralink family tax benefits just now (I have done anything since I arrived in the office ha ha ha) and here is my conclusion (please correct me if im wrong). The previous post i made has only half truth then (kasi naman yung agent ko eh).
    * If ur combined annual salary is not more than 48,837 AUD (with two kids for the sake of computation), the benefits will be : (172.2*2*2) + (102.2 * 2) + (144*2, rental) = 1,181 AUD per month.
    * If ur combined annual salary reach 79862 AUD, the benefits will be : (55.16*2*2) + (102.2 * 2) + (144*2, rental) = 713 AUD per month.
    * If ur combined annual salary reach 94316 AUD or more, the benefits will be : (0*2*2) + (102.2 * 2) + (0*2, rental) = 202.2 AUD per month.

    @jengrata.yes iba ung child care benefit and rebate. Pag nag child care ung anak m, so eligible ka for child care benefit.. And if u are already receiving a child care benefit, u r not eligible for family tax benefit.. Ksi ung family tax benefit is for family who had children under their care..

    Hi guys, makikisawsaw lang po ako. As i understand in the following residency requirements for the Family Tax Benefits in relation sa query ni @Julz actually pwede po na matanggap nyo ung benefit na ito as long as naginitial entry na kaung family. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    "Residence requirements for Family Tax Benefit Part A and Part B
    To be eligible for Family Tax Benefit Part A and Part B you must satisfy residence requirements. You must be living in Australia and:

    have Australian citizenship, or
    hold a permanent visa, or
    hold a special category visa, or
    hold a certain temporary visa type for example a partner provisional, interdependency or temporary protection visa
    Your child must also meet the residence requirements or be living with you and you must continue to meet the residence requirements for as long as you get this payment.

    You may be able to claim a payment during a temporary absence from Australia if you have been absent for less than three years."

    Claiming Rent Assistance

    You do not need to lodge a separate claim for Rent Assistance. We will assess your eligibility when you make a claim for another payment or when you contact to tell us that your accommodation details have changed.

    You will need to give us proof that you pay rent, and you will need to complete a Rent Certificate. You can obtain the form using Online Services or at your nearest DHS Service Centre.

    If you have a formal written tenancy agreement, you will need to show it to us. If you do not have one, or are not named on the tenancy agreement, the person you pay rent to will have to sign your Rent Certificate.

    Hi @JCsantos, yung makakakuha lang po ba ng Claiming Rent Assistance ay yung mga PR na may anak na?

    Peach, sa nabasa ko, ang entitled sa Rent Assistance eh ung maaapprove sa Family Tax Benefit. Eh ang entitled lng sa Family Tax Benefit yung may anak.

    @peach17 , tied up ang rent assistance sa Family Tax Benefits kaya kung di ka entitled dahil single ka, walang assistance ka makukuha
