Ako kasi paper lodge, dipa uso online heheh, un naisip namin baka dahil paper lodgement kami kaya iba ung acknowledgemnt. Same sa kaso ninrolly04.
@rolly04, Pls confirm if paper lodge or online ka?
People who have applied for a permanent resident visa (except for a parent visa) may be eligible for the Medicare and Pharmaceutical Bene ts Scheme programs if they have a visa authorising their stay in Australia and: • have permission to work, or • their parent, spouse or child is an Australian citizen or holds an Australian permanent resident visa
So i think entitled tayong 496 once we applied 887.
@Shirlie since our bridging visa is not yet in effect, that means yung visa 496 natin ang in effect. Our visa 496 allows us to travel outside australia. So pwede tayo magtravel outside oz while our pr887 is in process and as long as our visa 496 is not yet expired.

Of course better pag maisabay mo sa application mo. Anyway, NBI does not require na may request letter from CO. Unlike other countries like Singapore. When i applied for Singapore Police Clearance in May 2013, Singapore Police asked me to present request letter from CO. Besides, 1 year naman validity ng nbi clearance and the processing time for PR 887 is 6 months.
My Singapore Police Clearance is dated May 2013, sana di na ako hingan ng CO ng updated clearance kasi nagstay ako sa Singapore until March 2014 pa. Abala ang pagkuha ng Singapore Police Check especially now that i'm here in Melbourne.

Hi @rolly04 and @se29m. Thank you for the advice. I'm planning to lodge it sana this weekend.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) no longer issues the Certificate of Clearance (COC) to non-Singapore citizens. However, if a COC is still required by a non-Singapore citizen, he/she may wish to submit an appeal to SPF by completing both the appeal and application form. • Applicants applying for migration must lodge their application for migration with the Immigration/Embassy/Consulate of the country of migration. They can apply after receiving the acknowledgement letter, which will state applicant’s name/file/case number. Checklist can be accompanied with the acknowledgement letter.
• Requesting authority’s requirements for the police clearance and the offer/employment letter/email for work purposes.
• Any other applications must be supported with the requesting authority’s requirements and letters or email.
5. Applicants applying from overseas can procure their fingerprints from the police station or from a qualified finger printer in the country they are currently residing. Applicants must provide fingerprints for all ten fingers on the standard forms available at the police stations. Applicants could also approach the Singapore High Commission to get their fingerprint impressions taken. Applicants will have to call and make an appointment.

hehe.. okey na.. nakita ko na.. panic attack lang..
@iamjin it's good to submit form 80 upfront. pero sa case ko, i submitted the form 2 days after i have submitted my application
re sg police, did you try to apply one but then rejected because they required you to provide letter from CO first before they can process ur police clearance application?
@rolly04 will fill up the form and submit it then. SG police is currently waiting for CO letter before they proceed. hopefully i get to hear about the application para ma update ko sila.
@rolly04 pwede na bang mg enroll for Medicare before I submit the documents for exemption or do I need to wait for July - get the exemption then enroll for medicare?
@iamjin apply and get your medicare first. para alam mo kung anong period ang covered ng medicare levy exemption mo. kasi sa form pag mag apply ka ng medicare levy exemption, ilalagay mo yung inclusive dates na wala ka pang medicare card.
