Hey guys/gals,
Nag file nb kayo ng tax? Ung sa medicare may nakuha pa ako kaya happy. Sa footscray ung accountant namin and malaki nakuha namin refund

@Shirlie malaki talaga refund mo kasi yung tax calculation ng companies usually they would assume na entitled ka sa medicare. since for tax year 2015-2016, few months ka lang entitled sa medicare, kaya irerefund sau yung medicare levy.

next week pa ako apply ng medicare levy exemption. last year, parang one week lang meron na letter.

Wala pa. Ang nangyari kasi samin ung accountant na nag adjust sa tax filing then pag uwi saka lng kami nag file ng medicare and up to now wala pa advise.

@shirlie technically mali ang ginawa ng accountant mo. Your accountant should not advise you to file your tax return and claim medicare levy exemption without the letter. Pero sa dami ng taxpayers ng australia, i dont think ATO can find out na wala kang letter bago ka nagfile.

@rolly04 assuming it is true. they have a weak internal control.

@iamjn kahapon lang ako nagfile ng application for levy exemption sa medicare. busy eh. once mareceive ko letter, file na ako tax return online.

@iamjin nareceive mo na sg police clearance? kakapadala ko yung hardcopy ng fingerprint impressions last week. based sa tracking ng australia post, sg police should receive the copy of my fingerprint impressions today or tomorrow.

@iamjin yun na bagong process. di na pwede apply agad ng police clearance pag hindi ka citizen.

Yep approved na ung appeal kahapon, today nag send naman kami ng application. Mas maganda ngayon kasi credit/debit trans. Kasi ung iba before nag bank draft pa.

Ilang days naman ngayon once ma send application?

@rolly04, dapat wala ng fingerprinting to kasi diba may record na sila nun nung na issuehan ng EP. So dapat I retrieve nalng un.

May email na need ng hardcopy fingerprint. Sa police station o embassy kannagpa fingerprint?
