Mam Rhea, are they focusing on the lodged offshore visa na or kahit po yung submitted offshore pa lang? Kasi merun pong mga lodged na since 2021 pa po na waiting for approval. Then merun pong mga submitted, na waiting for invite since 2019.

I think ang focus muna talaga nila are those applications na lodged since 2019, na naipon sa backlogs. Same question actually for me regarding invitations. Paano naman yung mga nagaabang for months? But then again, all we can do is hope and wait.

Invitations are not manually selected. Skillselect is programmed to issue the invites. This will continue. I think you’re mixing up EOI and visa application. So bale you lodge your EOI then get an invite then within 60 days you submit your visa application….that’s where the backlog is. So they are clearing the close to a million backlog of cases waiting to be granted/refused a visa. It has nothing to do with EOI queue.

Hi Ma’m Rhea, you mentioned that invitations are not manually selected.. question po, is it true that in EOI submission, we must find a company that can give us a 2 year job offer before we can get an invite to 190 visa? So kung not manually selected pano po malalaman Ng skillselect kung May job offer or wala? Parang useless din kahit May job offer?. And how can we get an offer kung ayaw namn magbigay ng job mga company to overseas applicants?

EOI doesn’t impose this requirement, it’s more the nominating state you’re applying for. Each state/regional area has it’s own criteria.

Maam Rhea, pano po kaya yun? WA for example, requires one has a job offer, what if wala pero nainvite ng WA state? Ang hirap po kasi talaga makahanap ng work while offshore, and mostly ang hinahanap nila sa WA may working rights e..

That’s what we raised up in our roundhouse table meeting with the WA deputy premier when he came to London. That’s also our frustrations with other states/territory that requires such thing in their criteria - catch 22. 🤷‍♀️ - no choice, you’ll have to choose other state/territory unfortunately.

hi miss @RheaMARN1171933 , yung kailangan ng job offer is for Visa 491 sa WA and not 190 po di ba? Thanks po

Mabibilis mga case officers ng Engineers Australia sana kunin sila ng DHA as additional workforce. Haha.

So estimate is around October, I'm guessing? Since they have this work summit pa on September, which will discuss immigration further.

Some states open in August, some later even in November. It varies every year. Post pandemic just magnifies everything but in reality what’s happening isn’t beyond the extraordinary….except fir the backlog

What I am referring to is the skill invitation for 189 and 491FS. Based from last year's trend, meron sanang maiinvite sa 189 and 491

    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skillselect/invitation-rounds

Usually mayagpopost sa ibang forums na nagkaroon ng invitation round.

Baka siguro sa August, malaki yung invitation round.

We can now view the 190/491 allocated nomination seats per state!

Btw, GRABE ANG LAKI NG VIC FOR 190!!! And nakakacurious bakit sobra yung allocation (30,610) vs. the original planning level for state nominated (20,000). Is this a sign of the increase in migration quota?

But the eligibility criteria are already set in their website. Check mo na lang rin

Btw, GRABE ANG LAKI NG VIC FOR 190!!! And nakakacurious bakit sobra yung allocation (30,610) vs. the original planning level for state nominated (20,000). Is this a sign of the increase in migration quota?

The Albo government seems to lean on pushing migration to address the local labour shortage so maybe... From what I've read on online news din, it's a priority area talaga especially after the previous admin's chaotic management haha. Good luck to us all!!

Malapit na yan, tiwala! The great thing is that you have your application in, you're at the end of the process, and now you just have to do the work of trusting the wait and pagkapit hehe. Ako rin naiinip eh :D Helps to look back and see na at least na-start na ang process, and yun ang importante.

I hope you get the great, life-changing news soon and the years-long wait ay maging super worth it fellow aspirant. 🙏🏼

Upon invitation to apply for nomination ang need po ba ng bank statement is ung mandatory cash po na 15kAUD (offshore). Maxado malaki kasi if kelangan ng bank statement for total 😆😆😆😆

Matagal na ako umalis sa showbiz kaya wala na ako ganyan kalaking pera (kidding aside)
