Hello Ms @RheaMARN1171933, magtatanong po sana. I received an invite sa 189. 80 points as RN Aged Care. Sa EOI, nilagay ko dun na may 2 workplace ako na-claim pero parehas mga 2-4 weeks ko lang napag trabahuan as a new RN kaya lang sa ANMAC assessment ko hindi ko nasama. Ngayon ko lang po na check. Paano po gagawin pag ka ganun? Pag babasehan din ba nila sa ANMAC? Thanks po in advance! :)

3 years naman po ang na-claim sa ANMAC and under 482 Work Sponsorship po ako since Nov 2022.
Yun task same lang sa isa kasi aged care (3 weeks lang nakapag work) pero yun isa po hindi kasi agency.

Meron ako statement of service na 30 hours lang ako nakapag work sakanila as casual employee.
Paano pag ka ganun po? Kailangan ba magpa-assess ulit sa ANMAC? Or need ko gumawa ng letter?

IMO, kung kahit tanggalin yung experience mo na yun di naaccess di magreresult sa overclaiming of points, good ang invite mo. Yung form na notice of incorrect answers and cover letter, di ko sure kung applicable sa iyo.

This is great news! But I think they could've done better. ACCI was even proposing 260k places. Do you think the 35k increase would have significant effects on points criteria and state eligibilities?

In my opinion, sana mas malaki pa. But at the end of the day, at least may increase

Around 34,000 places of the 195,000 cap for the 2022-23 financial year will be in the regions, an increase of 9,000, O’Neil said.

“To our state and territory premiers – we are building in a big lift under the state and territory allocations – from 11,000 last year to 31,000.”

    -theguardian.com

Yes an increase will definitely open chances for some applicants and the budget for increasing the processing is the icing on top!

Hopefully more invitations this September Round for every states if any :-)

Agree — there's an even bigger window of opportunity where there used to be little, and that's what matters. Sounds like they're looking to maintain the cap increase for a few years (though that's of course subject to change) so hopefully Australian migration keeps going in that direction.

After the previous admin's neglect, I'm just glad that they've looked at migration again as a critical factor in their nation-building.

May good fortune bless us all here!

Yes sir, hopefully not totally affected but magkakaroon ng dagdag na offshore applicant sa points na hindi pasok sa NSW sa ibang states. Its totally unfair yan din sa NSW onshore applicants since hindi cla pede mag apply sa ibang states :-(

I don’t think it’s unfair, it’s just it is what it is. Not surprised by this as it goes to show nsw is very saturated now and it’s very telling that the preference they have are onshore candidates. There are a lot of factors in deciding who they want to nominate and surely the intention is not to be unfair to offshore candidates but it has to be right and sustainable for them 😉

Looks like they updated the visa processing times page? https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times

Some nice-to-see statements for offshore applicants:
"We are prioritising the processing of visas lodged by people outside of Australia, including temporary skilled, student and visitor visas. This is to make sure more people can travel to Australia to fill the critical skill shortages across the country."

"We have reallocated staff to focus on offshore skilled, student and visitor visas so that more people can travel to Australia."

The federal government will use next month’s budget to increase Australia’s permanent migrant intake to 195,000 for the 2022-23 financial year, in response to complaints from the business sector about the nation’s shortage of workers.

The above is just prediction of course, but with the surge of staff for the next months, hopefully visa processing becomes even more efficient later nga this year. NSW might also adjust their requirements based on the pool of candidates? At sana nga yang 75/80 points ang maging median trend.

Nakakaburyo maghintay sa mahabang proseso, so these seeds of hope do a lot hehe :)

Feel ko kaya naging cyclical na yung frequency ng rounds is because titignan nila alin diyan sa 12,200 na invitations na yan yung tama ang docs at magpproceed sa assessment. Then tatanggalin yung mga may issues such as nag-overclaim ng points, expired docs, etc. Then after nun, magiinvite na ulit sila.

For me yung 12k na yan is just for theatrics. Para masabi nila na back to normal na yung 189, pero in reality, hindi pa rin, kasi naka-focus pa rin sila sa specific occupations. Sa list, ni-walang Accountant or ICT BA.
