Not sure lang... Pero base sa travels ko, usually may declaration slip/form na binibigay sayo at ifi-fill out mo yun. Hindi ko lang sigurado if may kakaiba sa Australian customs. Hope someone who's declared there can correct/add more info to help.

You will be given a declaration form when you arrive. If there is something you don't understand or you're not sure of, better declare (like ticking the yes box) than not declaring. Better safe than sorry. If they ask you in person about your declaration, you just tell them you weren't sure about where your stuff classify. If they're not meat/plant stuff they will generally allow them in (just check the link that @era222 gave). There are limits on how much you can bring.

Make sure they are commercially packed (like the packaging/sachet is from the manufacturer mismo), hindi yung ikaw lang ang nagbalot using generic plastic. Very suspicious kasi sila when it comes to non-commercially packed stuff. If your laundry soap is in powder form, better make sure they're in the sachet/bag na sealed pa by the manufacturer, otherwise baka mapagkamalang drugs yan.
