Talked to some people who went home on 491 and come back here, pinakita lang daw nila copy ng visa.

Hi!

Pero as per writing, pending pa kaki ng medical exams, biometrics and police clearance.

    TIA

that was my problem as well few months ago. I asked my agent as there was no option for 491 he said it was the same as 189/190 just for you to set an appointment. They will still refer on the letter given to you on the assessment of your medical. I picked 190 so far no problem with my medical. I hope it helps.

Messaged them explaining na may 491 ako, all they said is

'If may employment po at employment contract, need ng OEC'

Pero I know people na nakailang round trip na sa PH ng 491 din pero di naman hinanapan. I aapply ko nalang regardless. You guys know how hellish PH systems can be lol

inconsistent ung info ng polo. for 491, pwede kang pumasok ng AU ng wala pang employer, so pano ka naman makakakuha ng oec ng wala pang employer. And dami ng first hand experience dito na nagsabi na hindi siya hinanap sa immigration

I aapply ko nalang regardless. You guys know how hellish PH systems can be lol

That means you need an Australian employer bago lumabas ng PH. I'm not sure gano yan kadali pag nasa labas pa ng AU

We are waiting for grant po ng 491 (Offshore). I am the main applicant. Yung husband ko po is seaman and kakasampa lang po nya ng barko. Thank you po

I'm prepping for the worst case scenario kasi e, super hassle pag di ako makabalik ng Aus agad kasi 1 week lang leave ko.

I reckon I'll just believe yung mga nagsabi na di na need?

Hindi ako hinanapan ng OEC nung first time kong umalis sa Pinas going to Australia since unemployed pa ako that time. Dito na ako sa AU nagkawork. Anyway, I'm still going home to the PH (my first holiday) then back to AU in May. I didn't apply for an OEC anymore since my employer doesn't want to sign the addendum na need para sa employment verification sa POLO.

May I ask saang airport sa Pinas kayo sasakay on the way back to AU, and kailan yung travel nyo? I'm on the same boat kasi. I'm leaving on the 1st week of May

I came tp Aus back in 2019 on a student visa then dito na ako nagrantan ng 491 so 1st balik ko to in 4.5 yrs e.

Hi, that was my first concern dn po when I received my visa though my case I will leave Manila this coming 2nd week of May no employer yet. I called OWWA to ask about it she said since wla p nmn aq employer then no need for OEC as it should be applied by the company. I tried to register PDOS however no 491 visa on the list so I send email to CFO both PDOS/ CFO sticker not required
