State Nominations Allocations Update:
Please note that below information is not officially released by Immigration, it is published in AFR newspaper.

A total of 26,000 places (190 and 491) will be given to the states and territories under the 2024-25 state nomination program.

Rest of the allocations, 40,000 places (190, 491, 494) will be used to clear the visa backlog as part of 2024-25 FY.

Queensland 190 allocations reduced from 900 to 600 spots, and 491's are reduced from 650 to 600.

ACT, SA, NT, WA, TAS will see an increase in nomination allocations when compared to 2023-24 FY.

ACT: 1200 to 1800

NT: 650 to 1200

SA: 2300 to 4200

WA: Total of 5000 places under State Nomination Program

TAS: 1200 to 2700

No update on VIC and NSW allocation no's.

May mga pinoy dito na nainvite ng ACT. Pero hindi natin sure kung marami ba. Kahit madami mag confirm dito, yung members sa forum is just a small subset of all aspiring au migrants globally. Depende sa occupation pa rin and state's discretion paano sila magiinvite. Meron sa website nila ng invitation rounds stat showing canberra points matrix score.

You can also check skillselect reporting tool to see how many were invited and at which point. However, If i'm not mistaken hindi kasama as filter criteria ang Nationality.

And pano po ang expiration ng matrix? Month po ba or yung exact date ang sinusunod? For example nagsubmit ako ng matrix Feb 23, 2024 and expiration po ba niyan saktong pagdating ng month of August expired na? or August 23 pa?

True, mas mababa yung pts system ni ACT, pero may chance pa din naman mainvite depende sa occupation. We got nominated nung 2022 pero went with NSW in the end.

Since ang nakalagay lang sa email from ACT ay 6 months expiry ay ito “The Matrix score will expire after for 6 months if an invitation is not issued. Once a Matrix has lapsed, it cannot be reactivated. If you are still interested in ACT nomination, you can submit another Matrix.”

Kung from date mismo ng submission ko ng Matrix saka pa lang mageexpire or kung mismong pagdating kagad ng month of August ay lapsed na. So need na magsubmit ulit ng Matrix. 😅

if my math is mathing, NSW will have 4,900 state and territory nomination allocations

Total: 21,100

26,000 (nomination allocations) - 21,100 = 4,900 for NSW
